As noted in the spoilers for this week’s SmackDown, Melina was seen bleeding during her match, taped on Tuesday night. The former Women’s Champion suffered a busted lip which isn’t expected to be serious.
Last weekend we reported that Melina is also working with a hand injury after jamming her fingers in July.

Wow. Melina actually bleeds. Can’t wait to see that because you don’t see the girls bleed much.
It’ll probably be edited out, unfortunately. They don’t want their Divas to be seen bleeding or in any real pain.
I’d love it if they were to show her bleed. I mean, I’m no sadist but I feel it would hopefully garner the ladies a bit more respect. I remember watching Christy Hemme vs Kong and Hemme having her nose busted, in a weird possibly sickening way, it was quite cool to see. Hard to explain.
