Diva Dirt Style Jury: Week of September 14th, 2009

Welcome to the Diva Dirt Style Jury! No more are the separate ‘Best’ and ‘Worst’ lists, instead we have come up with a scientific approach *cough* to compiling our weekly fashion column. The Diva Dirt team will weigh in on the different looks from the week gone by & mark each look with a score out of ten. The look with the highest average score will be our best look and the look with the lowest average score will be the worst look. Click each photo to see the look in full size.

ALICIA FOX
Erin: My sister thought she was wrestling in jeans. I think that says a lot about this outfit–it just doesn’t look right, bottoms-wise. Slap a different color on them and we might have something here. Other than that it’s just kinda generic. 5/10
Melanie: I’m not a fan of the pants, they look like jeans. Not the best Alicia’s worn. 4/10
Steven: Ever since she moved to Raw, Alicia’s wardrobe has been less than exciting. This week is no exception. 4/10
Tiffany: The copper color compliments her hair and her skin tone quite nicely. Not sure how I feel about the denim-copy bottoms. 6/10

THE BELLA TWINS
Erin: Red red red.. Flowers flowers flowers.. It’s the same old same old and when you see it twice as much, you get sick of it even faster. 3/10
Melanie: I actually like the detail on the dress but once again, it’s far too much of one colour & it makes you feel sickly. 5/10
Steven: Once again, the Bellas assault us with red, but this it’s a hit. The simple, red dresses look awesome on them. However this is like the 18th time I’ve seen them wear it. 7/10
Tiffany: I’m not feeling the whole matchy-matchy thing. They’re twins. We get it. There’s no excuse for looking like they’ve just stepped out of a Conga line. 5/10

LILIAN GARCIA
Erin: I really like the burgundy color of the dress, but the numerous chains give off a Mr. T vibe. It’s a bit too much for me. 6/10
Melanie: Not a fan of this look, too much of one colour like the Bellas. The attempts at ‘edgy’ i.e. the cut out shoulders miss the mark for me too. 5/10
Steven: Looking great as always! Love the color on her and the heels are a nice touch. 8/10
Tiffany: Lilian hardly ever gets it wrong. I like the color, the drapery of the dress, and those shoes and jewelry compliment the outfit. It looks very well put together. 8/10

MADISON RAYNE
Erin: I nearly choked when I saw this outfit for the first time in a photoshoot a few weeks ago. This time, since I’ve had a warning, my reaction wasn’t nearly as violent. Unfortunately, the outfit’s still awful and should be burned.. 1/10
Melanie: Honestly, their overuse of colour sets off my gag reflex. They have nice legs though, so good to ditch the pants. 2/10
Steven: I guess there was a sale on black lace this week, huh? Either that or the lights blew out in the locker room… 2/10
Tiffany: This outfit looked bad enough in the photoshoot and even worse in live action. I haven’t seen this much overindulgence of lace since Lady Gaga at the VMA’s. 4/10

MARIA
Erin: The black sequined shorts are a bit of a change, and the top’s nice, but the accessories do her in, like always. I’d probably have to pry her gloves from her cold, dead hands (literally), but I’ll always hate them. The hair and makeup aren’t much better. 5/10
Melanie: Pretty simple by Maria’s usual standards… that’s not a compliment. Minus the gaudy necklace and gloves, I think the tank top could’ve looked nice and simple on it’s own. The hair looks good though. 5/10
Steven: I’m actually liking Maria’s outfit this week. It’s simple (for once) and true to her character. The gloves however, gotta go. 8/10
Tiffany: This outfit is nothing new. In fact, it might even be considered tame for Maria. All I want to know is… how does she get her hair so high? 6/10

MELINA
Erin: Not liking this one at all. The corset looks out of place, especially with a top that’s already pretty busy. It just looks gaudy and tacky–there’s no need for it. 4/10
Melanie: I totally love this look but I don’t think Melina has the shape to pull it off. Her boobs look Traci Brooks-esque above that corset and it looks unflattering. That said, the outfit looks amazing and I love the way it all works together. 7/10
Steven: What happened Melina?! Hate the animal print and the corset makes her look disproportionate. A rare miss for the A-List Diva. 5/10
Tiffany: Watching Melina strut around in that corset-looking thing made me hurt inside. Love the hair and makeup as well. Hard to believe anyone could look this stunning after a match. 9/10

MICKIE JAMES
Erin: Everything’s too tight, and it’s just not flattering. The tube top, jeans, and heels just make her look stocky. Someone needs to steal her self tanner, too, ’cause close to looking like an Oompah Loompah or worse–Lindsay Lohan!!! *horror movie music* 4/10
Melanie: I really like this, it looks sassy but simple at the same time. A welcome change from Mickie’s ring attire. 7/10
Steven: Looks like Mickie is planning on hitting the club after the show. Not usually a fan of tube tops, but Mickie makes it work. 8/10
Tiffany: Nothing really stands out to me about this outfit. It’s an improvement from her last ringside outfit. It’s acceptable for streetwear, anyway 7/10

ANGELINA LOVE & VELVET SKY
Erin: For once, they’ve matched their looks. Too bad it still looks like they’ve raided the closets of the strippers who work at the club next to the airport. 2/10
Melanie: Just awful. The ruffles had me gagging. Lingerie is best left from the bedroom, but even there I’d request the lights be turned off. 2/10
Steven: Angelina and Velvet look like a walking Playboy slumber party. *sigh* At least they’re matching… 4/10
Tiffany: It wouldn’t be the Beautiful People if they didn’t look like they’ve just raided a Hot Topic clearance stand. This is not out of the ordinary for Mi Pi Sexy. At least they match, eh? 6/10

TIFFANY
Erin: She can certainly do “business-like classy” better than Debra did–no bra poking out–but I still don’t quite buy it. She doesn’t look bad, but it kinda looks like she’s just a low-level Diva wearing a General Manager’s costume. 7/10
Melanie: She looks so uncomfortable in the ‘office wear’ and I think it makes her look a lot stockier than she actually is. It just doesn’t work for me. 5/10
Steven: I’ve always been a fan of Tiffany’s GM look. It’s simple and sophisticated, as well as sexy. I just wish the outfit was all one color. 8/10
Tiffany: Tiffany really plays up the whole authority-figure demeanor. The appearance aspect, anyway. What she lacks in clout, she can make up in looking the part. And that’s all that really matters…right? 8/10

TRISH STRATUS
Erin: It’s reminiscent of what she wore as a heel, I think, and that’s not a bad thing. It’s just kind of plain–she could’ve and should’ve gone all-out for her big return appearance but she clearly didn’t. Love the brown hair, though. 7/10
Melanie: Don’t like it. It’s clear that her wardrobe has grown and matured since she left WWE but it’s also clear that she wanted to give the fans what they expected of the old Trish upon her return. I refuse to believe she wears boob tubes like that these days. I wish she would’ve brought her new, sleeker style to Raw. 4/10
Steven: Not really different from what she wore during her Diva days, but she still looks great. 7/10
Tiffany: Trish was a vision this past Monday. She gave me everything-envy. She looked even better as a brunette than I remembered her as a blonde. Who would’ve thunk it? 8/10

ROSA MENDES
Erin: This, frankly, looks like pleather, and that’s not sexy to me. The little star accent just makes it look even cheaper to me. 6/10
Melanie: I feel like I’ve seen this before and I’m sure I have. I’m not a fan of a zip going right down the front of a dress, it looks sleazy. 5/10
Steven: Didn’t you wear this before, Rosa? Still looks good, but she needs to change it up a bit. 6/10
Tiffany: Okay, Rosa looks good in black. So…how about something different? You know, something that deflects from the highly-contrasted extensions? 7/10

LOSER: MADISON RAYNE. Looks like the whole trio looked like a hot mess this week. See, they do belong together!!

WINNER: TIFFANY. Business-y skirts and jackets are clearly classier than the WWE’s used to. Here’s hoping Tiffany doesn’t get docked pay for not showing enough skin.
