No Surrender on pay per view tonight will see the first ever Knockouts Tag Team Champions crowned! Check out our predictions below:
Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Sarita & Taylor Wilde vs The Beautiful People
Erin: Even when ignoring the fact that the Beautiful People are half the team they used to be (literally), Sarita and Taylor make such an interesting and exciting team that I can’t imagine the titles going to anyone else. They fit better as a team than any other duo they’ve manufactured for this tournament, and them as champs would make for some must-watch title defenses. Aside from that, I just don’t see Madison/Velvet being the type of team Angelina/Velvet was. It seems to be a temporary fix until Angelina gets her visa trouble handled, and once she’s back, it’s bye bye Madison. I don’t envision them putting a title on a temp team.
Melanie: I am going with Sarita and Taylor Wilde. No big reason that hasn’t already been covered. It seems like the logical and obvious choice.
Steven: I’d pegged Saritataylor as the first Knockout Tag Champs when I saw their first round match, but with Madison replacing Angelina in the finals, TNA may as well have set it in stone. Expect the high flying duo to take home the gold.
Tiffany: Sarita and Taylor Wilde seem conditioned for the tag team titles from the very beginning. With Angelina gone, those two appear to be the most believable tag team to come out of the tournament. Sarita and Taylor Wilde will most likely follow through on their promise to make Knockout history.
Knockouts Championship: ODB vs Cody Deaner
Erin: I hope to God that ODB wins. Deaner winning is not an option–I don’t even want to consider it. Let me just say that I hope that ODB’s victory is the end of this turd of a storyline and we can move on to actual all-female Knockouts Title matches.
Melanie: Speaking of obvious, it’s two-for-two at this year’s No Surrender. This one is obvious for me, ODB to take the win.
Steven: I think I can speak for most people when I say I’m finding it hard to care about this storyline. That said, I’m predicting that ODB will win tonight and finally kill this storyline. But then again, TNA has screwed us over before…
Tiffany: ODB will find some way to attain the title while Deaner finds many ways to make a fool of himself. It’s an endless cycle.

Saritaylor first Knockout Tag Team Champions
Nice match with a great finish.

I’m inpressed with the Saritaylor/ Wilde Luchadores’ chemistry, the finish wasn’t too shabby either. Shame the beautiful people aren’t too great in ring could have made for a better final.
As for the knockouts match, I’m predicting a no contest or a ODB win with allot of outside interference from the rest of the KO division.

As much as I wanted TBP to get the gold (I think I might be one of those “marks”) TNA made the right decision.
I just hope they also do right by the singles belt.

the match was okay for what it was,i’m kinda pissed off that they put that stupid logo back in the middle of the ring,a great way to destroy the atmosphere
so glad saritaylor won, those titles look AMAZING,way better then that divas title
I still don’t understand why velvet got more ring action then madison, madison can carry a match way better then velvet, velvet made taylor and saritas moves look terrible, she just couldn’t sell them or take them

Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Sarita & Taylor Wilde vs The Beautiful People
Sarita & Taylor Wilde will win. They are the most logical choice. However, i kinda hope Madison/Velvet will win. If Madison/Velvet loose it will be hard for the fans to take TBP serious again without Angelina there. But wether they win or loose, i do hope that Madison is allowed to show off her wrestling moves and not just use her as a jobber again.
Knockouts Championship: ODB vs Cody Deaner
This match is an insult to the knockout division. No matter who wins, this match should never have happened, let alone putting it on a PPV. First Sharmell/Jenna and now this, thats not good advertisement for the Knockouts. Anyway, i am certain ODB will win. If not, then they might as well throw the title in a trashcan next TNA Impact.

I know the whole ODB/Cody situation isn’t what we want, but thinking about it, it’s been a good thing. ODB has the gold (sort of), which many people have wanted for a long time. And it’s also made the KO tag belt the main focus, which it needed. Also, could you imagine if Love still had the belt?? Now that would’ve been a mess. Iunno, just trying to think the best of a bad situation, methinks.

Kaledrina – I don’t know if I would say that the ODB storyline made the Knockouts Title TNA’s main focus… Ever since it started I haven’t given 2 craps about the the belt. I’ve been all about the Tag Tourny. I do agree that it’s a good thing that Love didn’t have that the belt though. That would’ve been a hot mess.

I have one complaint with the knockouts match…Cody Deaner was in it.
September 21, 2009 at 2:17 am
even though the premise of the match was terrible, i think that was actually the best i’ve seen of odb wrestling-wise. in a very long time at least.

Glad the ODB/Deaner crap is over now (or at least i hope this was the last we saw of it). But i dont envy ODB, she is now the knockout champion, but she never defeated Angelina Love for it. So how many people are going to take her championship reign seriously?
September 21, 2009 at 2:43 am
Poor Daffney. They needed a knockout to take a big bump again, so off course Daffney is the one that had to do it.
September 21, 2009 at 2:47 am
hey so does this make ODB and 2-time Knockouts Champion?
September 21, 2009 at 2:57 am
No, one time Luis they had a mini interview where Lauren said it was her first championship win.
I have to say that concerning the KO match, the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. Also Mikas Daffney took the bump well and she’s part of the story so it makes sense.

I was at this show live so I can explain some stuff you PPV viewers didn’t see.
I am a smart mark, but I like to sit up with the regular fans to sort of get a gauge of what they’re thinking. You can’t think of those hundred or so TNA marks in The Pit as “The Crowd” because they are a small part of it and they’re kinda disconnected from the rest of the audience.
The casual fans don’t buy Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne as wrestlers. They just think of them as fragile Barbie dolls. Velvet’s sloppy biels triggered some laughter.
The fans don’t care about Taylor Wilde. Sarita got some pops though for her moves.
The fans didn’t understand why a man was fighting a woman for a Women’s title. There was some misogynist redneck sentiment in the crowd, with many pulling for Deaner. The fans actually seemed to be entertained by this match more than any other to this point. ODB is pretty charismatic and the fans liked the finish.
I marked out when Daffney got slammed
I actually liked this show. A lot more than most of the crowd, it would seem. Strangely, the match they seemed the most into was the one most of us were dreading, the Deaner/ODB match. Fans enjoyed seeing a woman beat up a redneck.

I thought the matches were okay. I think the Tag Match would have been better had Madison been in the ring more. She is way better then Velvet.
The KO Title match was funny. It was more entertaining then the other matches and was very funny.
Just wanted to ask where did you get the promo pic
