I am a smart mark, but I like to sit up with the regular fans to sort of get a gauge of what they're thinking. You can't think of those hundred or so TNA marks in The Pit as "The Crowd" because they are a small part of it and they're kinda disconnected from the rest of the audience. The casual fans don't buy Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne as wrestlers. They just think of them as fragile Barbie dolls. Velvet's sloppy biels triggered some laughter. The fans don't care about Taylor Wilde. Sarita got some pops though for her moves. The fans didn't understand why a man was fighting a woman for a Women's title. There was some misogynist redneck sentiment in the crowd, with many pulling for Deaner. The fans actually seemed to be entertained by this match more than any other to this point. ODB is pretty charismatic and the fans liked the finish. I marked out when Daffney got slammed I actually liked this show. A lot more than most of the crowd, it would seem.
