Former TNA Knockouts Champion, Angelina Love was backstage at the Impact taping last night reports PWInsider. So that should answer whether she had returned to her native Canada.
Love, real name Lauren ‘Angel’ Williams, was visiting friends says Mike Johnson. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon so she can return to the company. In the meantime, I do hope she was mentoring Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky backstage to find their chemistry as a tag team — it was lacking at Sunday night’s pay per view.
And in an update to perhaps the worst kept secret in a long time: Lacey Von Erich is now in Orlando we’re told and will debut as the newest member of The Beautiful People at tonight’s taping. The episode will air next Thursday.

OMG,things are going to get A LOT more interesting in the land of the Beautiful people.Lacey von eric has replaced angelina as the leader of the Beautiful people and when angelina comes back,obviously she’s going to want her leaderspot back but maybe the group has moved on.That would be great to setup angelina as a babyface
nice idea, rkoyou, although i think angelina has found her niche in being a heel, and i think velvet would be better suited as a face as she can get by on just her looks alone – not knocking her though, she does have some talent.
with love visiting tna and not raw (as was previously “reported”) she seems pretty intent on resigning when possible. great news to hear.
Obviously, if Lauren returns to TNA she would want her position back as the leader of The Beautiful People. However, it’s uncertain of if she’ll return, and so although it is interesting to hear a rumor of Lauren being at the taping, I’m interested in maybe the WWE throwing her a contract. Seems like the most logical thing for the WWE to do, but for the most part I’m hoping that Lauren’s work visa issue will be solved soon. That way, she’ll hopefully (I use ‘hopefully’ loseley) will return to TNA.
But, YAY! Lacey’s reportedly at a taping! I’m interested in seeing how she’s scripted to come in.
I’d love to see Angelina come back, and replace Lacey and turn on Madison, turning the Lacey and Madison face.

It looks like Angelina Love didn’t want to burn any bridges with TNA Wrestling. If you think about it, TNA Wrestling is the better promotion for Angelina Love. She was the TOP heel knockout and one of the most popular knockouts. In WWE she would never be guaranteed a top spot on either RAW or Smackdown, because in WWE she is a carbon copy of Maryse/Michelle McCool. All the proof Angelina Love needs is how WWE handled the return of Gail Kim. To this day, I still believe the ONLY reason WWE signed Gail Kim was because Vince McMahon was jealous and furious of how popular and liked the Knockout’s Division was/is. (Again, just MY opinion and you don’t have to agree with me.
If/When this visa drama is rectified, PLEASE bring back Angelina Love to TNA Dixie. I know they had no choice, but once she does get is fixed (hopefully) they would be DUMB not to do so.

I think Angelina being backstage means that she’s on decent terms with the TNA management, and that her problems aren’t as serious as some have speculated. Had she been working in the US for two years as an illegal alien, she would like have been deported, not hanging out in Fla. with friends. So the visa issues may take a while to resolve, but it’s not as bad as it could be.
That’s my take.
