sorry but that match was terrible,it made me realize that the divas get a better reaction on Raw,PPV’s just aren’t there place
knowing WWE,they’ll just push beth again for Billionth time(sigh)
I think divas who are actually given a gimmick, personality, character or all of the above will get a reaction. They just can’t throw Alicia or Katie Lea or every other new diva out there, let them wrestle and expect everyone to care. I didn’t see the match but from how everyone’s going, I.. guess they didn’t give them time. :[ More Alicia negativity is probably on the way from her doubters.
I think the match was decent. Better than Mickie and Maryse match at NOC. You could hear some people saying “boring” but I liked the match. I think Alicia did good for her first PPV and I think WWE would still give her a push.
Did Mickie botch the DDT or did Alicia sold it.
The reason the crowd just didn’t care about the match was because neither Mickie or Alicia have a character. No character whatsoever and we as fans know basically nothing about them. Alicia in particular needs to seriously work on getting some character development to go with her in ring ability if she wants to make it to the top. from what I have seen of her so far, I think she would be better as a face. She isn’t really doing much for me as a heel.
The match was GOOD. Key high points for me were, 1) Mickie getting a decent reaction 2) Not a single botch 3) Alicia’s back breaker 4) Alicia looking GREAT 5) Alicia making that DDT look like it broke her neck! ouch!.
What the matched lacked as everyones already pointed out is a STORY. Sure it had a 3 week build, but fans dont care about their characters. Mickie gets a recognition and pops like she does because people know her backstory, Alicia like Gail is an amazing athlete, but with no backstory. People LOVED SABLE because she had a character, People LOVED TRISH because she had a character…and the list goes on.

I do think the match itself had a lot to do with the non-reaction, not just the lack of build up.
I just seen the match. It was alright. I got to say Alicia brought her working boots. Although Mickie wasn’t bad, I have to say she’s getting lazy. I can criticize her cause I love her, but c’mon Mickie. She can get a little more motivated in the ring. That DDT did look awkward. I hope it was apart of Alicia’s crazy flexible selling but it looked like she was about to flip forward but slipped when Mickie came down too hard. I don’t know, I just hope she’s not hurt.
I forgot to add: One thing I hope Alicia stops doing is the Diva-esque poses. I seen her do it before she went for a pin. Alicia, Alicia, Alicia. Leave the Diva stuff to Rosa, the Bella Twins and Maryse. I think she should be more aggressive. Shouting, stiffing bitches and just being plain obnoxious. It would be a nice change since it’s so drastic from her pretty, cute looking chick appearance. It would suit her though. She’s already thin and harmless looking but have this amazing strength to sell and carry opponents when needed.

They also shouted “boring” during the McIntyre-Truth match, when that match just started. That kind of fans only come to see Cena&co, they dont care about lower/middle card matches.
I didn’t like the match…it was boring as HELL…they had too many pauses, it just turned people down. I honestly see no difference between this match and NOC Diva’s Championship. I mean…wasnt Alicia fiery diva? Why was she so boring in the match??
in her entire wwe career, she has only pinned someone for the win three times…if they want to push her, i think thats great…but build up to it a little with someone who has more than a hand full of pinfall wins…
