Former WWE Diva and 90s pinup, Sunny – real name Tammy Sytch — has launched a scathing attack on new TNA Knockout, Lacey Von Erich. The outspoken ex-Diva made very uncouth comments on her private Facebook page, making light of Lacey’s family tragedy i.e. her father’s suicide.
It is one thing to criticise someone’s work, but to bring up personal, emotional trauma that someone has suffered is disgusting. Read below:

I feel badly for Lacey, in all honesty. There’s criticism and then there’s vitriol. All of the accounts from people who have worked with her are that she’s a young, naive girl in a cutthroat world of pro wrestling. She isn’t savvy to the industry & she doesn’t know how the politics work, I think it’s a case of ‘supply not meeting the demand’. There is a lot of demand for this girl right now [look at all the projects she has on her books: TNA, Wrestlicious, Hulk Hogan's tour & a reality show] but she isn’t schooled well enough in the industry to be able to handle the responsibility. I don’t mean to sell her short, but that is the picture that has been painted by her peers. Instead of scolding her, it’s a shame that a veteran like Sytch doesn’t try to get in touch with her & provide positive criticism and mentor her.

I’m not exactly a Lacey-mark, and I definitely don’t like some of the comments she’s made, but credit where credit’s due, the girl’s in high demand, so she must be doing something right.

It’s hard not to argue with Sunny’s comments. Lacey would probably be a better wrestler and steered in the right direction had she lasted more than 4 months in WWE developmental. Hell, she might even be part of Legacy right now. Being fired in that short amount of time says a lot about Lacey’s work ethic and character. While some of Sunny’s responses (keep in mind she’s answering questions) were harsh and below the belt, in the end it’s Sunny’s opinion, which she is entitled to.
Besides, Lacey’s generated more buzz with clothes on than Sunny with clothes off. Did we not forget the time when a fat Sunny had to resort to nude soft-porn photos with Missy Hyatt to pay the bills?
I don’t think Tammy likes the hype around Lacey, it’s natural for women to bitch about each other, especially since Tammys glory days are well behind her and Lacey is an up and comer.
Lacey does have a very young son and when she was in WWE developmental, perhaps she couldn’t dedicate as much time to training as was required because of her being a single parent at the time.
Nevertheless, the comments about Laceys father were very below the belt and you can imagine how hurtful it will be if she reads these comments.
She is only 23 and finding her feet in the tough world of wrestling, we all like to critic people in wrestling but some are taking it too far with comments such as that about her dad.

Honestly, what has Sunny done for the wrestling industry except sleep around and blowing guyy in the locker room. It might just be that Sunny is jealous becuase Lacey VE did not have to sleep her way to being noticed, I really dont care for Lacey in a wrestling standpoint but can someone show where in history Sunny revolutionized the womens wrestling world. I agree that its below the belt, but it is still true. If anything, I find the irony more interesting considering Sunny was a junkie herself up until recently.
What is most unfortunate about Sunny is that she is spot on with almost all of her criticism (the candice comment made me chuckle) but she ruins the chances of anyone listening to her with the below the belt attacks.
Sunny is one of the smartest women in wrestling with a great ind for the business (jim ross says it himself) and she made people care about wrestling when nobody did (pre attitude era), I just wish she used the platform in a better way.
As a veteran… she should know that there are certain subjects that are off limits and bringing up her dad, which may be a sensitive subject for her, is one of them.
All I’m saying is, it is one thing to criticize someone but to bring up their family history? That’s just crossing the line [no pun intended]. Great mind for the business true but certain things shouldn’t be said.
Sunny making comments about drug addicts? She is the last one who should comment on that with her Alcohol/Crack past. She is also known for her unprofessional behaviour and noshows. Since leaving WWE she hit rock bottom and had to resort to porn and autograph signings for an income, so maybe it would’ve been better if she’d kept her mouth closed.

I don’t know how anyone can condone her commenting on Laceys dad, fair enough, critique her from a wrestling standpoint but you should never say something about another persons deceased family member.

Im friends with Sunny on facebook and was reading those comments as she was putting them out.
Sunny is on of my all time favorite divas, but the comment about Kerry Von Erich was WAY out of line. I understand where she is coming from with the rest of her comments.
Something just as fucked up Sunny said later on was “She will probably end up shooting herself or having a drug overdose.”
She also revealed that this who ranted came from her finding out about what Lacey said about Angelina love. She said who the fuck is she to say that about Angelina.

For years now Tammy has been a bloated, rough looking nobody and her glory days are far behind her. She should keep her comments to herself, as the Lacey/Angelina scenario has noting to do with her. I loved Sunny growing up, and I’m really appalled by her attitude. I’m not a fan of the model turned wrestlers either, but can someone say “bitter table for one?” Seems to me that Sunny is jealous of Lacey’s youth and that Lacey reminds her of who she used to be. This really disheartens me, what was Sunny trying to prove by saying all that? That’s a horrible thing to say about someone’s father, as someone else mentioned, how would she feel if someone said that about Chris Candido? I just lost a ton of respect for Sunny, which as I said, is really disheartening. I’m still a fan of hers, but who is she kidding? The fame that she achieved was all about her looks.

Actually, she was much more than just a valet. She and Teri Runnels were the first 2 valets in wrestling who developed a personality and managed to do great mic work, making them more managers than valets. Especially in SMW (Jim Cornette’s Smokey Mountain Wrestling) Sunny was very good as a manager. So Sunny definately has been very important for the future for the Divas back then. Indirectly she (+Teri and Sable) paved the way for Trish (WWE) and Tori (WCW) where women became more prominently visuable. And Sunny definately was one of the hottest women during her peak, and she didnt even have much surgery back then.
So there are definately SOME positive things about Sunny, but since her release at WWE she became an ordinairy crackwhore who kept making a fool out of herself at autograph signings and in various interviews.
When I read those Facebook comments I almost dropped over dead myself. I know I shouldn’t have been surprised, but Tammy’s been laying low for a while. Lets not forget her saying that she was better than Sherri Martel and Miss Elizabeth (who are both deceased) because she was “prettier” than them. Then she goes and prides that her career wasn’t about looks. Then there was the interview where she directly states that she wishes she could put a bullet through all of the Divas heads (including Lita and Victoria) except for Trish. Tammy is old, she’s washed up, she’s bitter, she’s deranged, and most of all, she’s a hypocrite. Its kind of sad that she’s sunken to such a low. Maybe she made the low blow about Kerry because he passed before she got a chance to sleep with him and add a high ranked wrestler to her repertoire? Maybe she’s so upset because she’s finally starting to realize that nobody gives a damn about her? She can claim to be the first new age Diva all she wants… when really, the its new Divas who seem to be the people she hates the most. Nice going, Tammy. Nice going.
After Chris Candido died, Tammy had a rough time physically and emotionally, and I remember feeling sorry for her when people made cruel comments about her weight, because obviously she was troubled. I was happy when she showed up at the RAW 15th anniversary party looking trim and happy. So I’m a little stunned she made those comments. She should understand the pain of having your personal problems mocked in public. And did she really say basically that LVE will be the next to commit suicide? That’s pretty effed up.
