According to a well-placed source, new Knockout Lacey Von Erich may already have suffered her first injury. Our eyewitness claims that Lacey had much of her upper leg wrapped tonight after the Impact tapings, in which she competed in a 6-Knockout tag team match but didn’t actually wrestle. Perhaps her tripping incident landed her with a muscle strain (or worse)?

Of course, it’s not clear if she’s actually injured, but the fact that they didn’t allow her to step foot in the ring tonight is pretty telling. There’s a good chance that it’s just a cautionary measure, but with the way Divas have been dropping like flies as of late, it was only a matter of time before the injury bug infected the Knockouts too.

Poor Lacey. I fear she may be the new Ashley Massaro, becoming more popular for her personal troubles than her wrestling career.

Regarding Lacey Von Erich’s disparaging remarks towards former TNA performer Angelina Love in an interview with the Miami Herald last week, she is claiming they were done in-character. She has contacted the newspaper asking if they could retract her statements considering they were misconstrued. see so all you bashers needs to stop picking on the poor girl

as for her being injured i don’t believe it. there are others reasons why TNA probably choose for her not to wrestle. one they didn’t need to. they probably wanted to sell Tara vs Awesome Kong and ODB rivalry. since those three are going to have a match at Bound for Glory. like they said TBP are most likely going to be use in a different way

PS: Angel Williams (a.k.a. Angelina Love) wrote the following note on her MySpace account regarding recent online reports airing her in a negative light. Williams wrote: “Its amazing how the net focuses on the negatives & makes up their own…..never had an enemy, never had a fight. All times were great.”

see she blasted those false internet sites reporting false information about her

Say what you will but Lacey is causing quite the mini storm amidst her debut and recent grilling from Sunny. The biggest buzz ive seen for any new Knockout or Diva in while!

I like that Lacey fell over at the tapings. No, I’m not a sadist, it’s just good to remember that these people are human beings, too. I remember being little and looking up to the old generation of women wrestlers and thinking of them as almost superheroic when obviously they’re not. If anything, Lacey tripping up has warmed me to her – albeit in an odd, weird way. People make mistakes, she’s had a few already, I hope she actually does make a success in this business and proves even myself wrong to judge her so quickly.

What a loser! TNA Wrestling your best bet is to fire the piece of shit NOW.

  14. if she tripped she must’ve tripped on a wire or something since from the tapings recap I read she came from “the side” much like her debut or like the new “TNA sneak attack stand-by area” near the announce table where everyone seems to be “randomly coming from” such as Angel in her sneak-up on Madison or D-Von on Rhino (if anyone watches the rest of the show).

Once again, it’s not like she’s made anyone look completely horrible to the point where the edited version or the re-do of the match is still horrible like watching… two 5-year-olds fighting and crying.

I think if she can make some sort of character that does more of the managing work for the team (taking on Madison’s role) and then leads them to a win streak (maybe a tag title reign) and eventually a losing streak where she doesn’t seem to be doing much and Velvet/Madison get on her about slacking on her end of the deal. This would cause for a hella cocky LVE that’ll then end up thinking “she was too much for TBP to begin with.”

And maybe during that time someone male or female gives her a good training until further notice. I’ll go as far as (and you might hold me to this) LVE will be the next big thing in 2010. She just needs to find that “one person” to get her straight and (from what we read) get her over her-own-self.

No surprise there. This is like Injury Month for both the Diva’s and Knockout’s. But, obviously, I wish Lacey, like every other injured Diva or Knockout, well in getting better [no pun intended].
