Stop the presses! We have breaking news: Michelle McCool is *gasp* the evil, lecherous witch you all thought she was! Here she is doing the unthinkable… slapping a fan?!

Oh wait… except she’s not. This, my friends, is the latest Internet meme and hate propaganda being used against the Women’s Champion. Just this past week I was reading an article [for class, not for shits & giggles] on how right wing Republicans scoured the interwebz high & low earlier this year looking for dirt on then would-be Supreme Court electorate Sonia Sotomayor. Something so scandalous that it would overshadow Obama picking her for such an important job. Case in point being, I guess Michelle should be flattered someone thought she was ~srs bsns~ enough to constitute similar hawk-eyed attention. And just like the Sotomayor case, the whole drama has been taken out of context; so while the video [and proceeding 'news articles'] may be titled: “Michelle McCool Slaps Fan,” the context in which it took place is vastly different from the juicy headline. Oh Internet fans, how you make me lulz so.

Michelle, I am shocked I tells you. Shocked to my very core. How could you?!

Diva Dirt in no way condones violence, but if you too, would like to be struck by the hand of McCool [ha] we have the next best thing. Michelle put pen to paper 8×10 for our Diva Dirt Gives Back charity drive. Click here to bid.

  1. What an evil mastermind!!
How did they let this happen?! That guy should charge her guts with abuse!!

PS: Really, whoever made this video -_-

  2. LOL! I love McCool so much.

  3. Okay, I totally get that she didnt “slap” the guy. I mean I totally understand that she didnt go up to someone and slap them across the face like it implies, however she did hit the person and no matter how much you guys personally like her, it was wrong to do that. It would also gives a reason for people, like myself who do not like her, to dislike her more.

  4. xxChristinaxx — I understand your intention but please don’t post unrelated news in the comments. I’ve edited your comment, sorry. It’s just that by putting unrelated stuff in the comments, it ends up changing the whole subject and leads to off-topic comments which is something we are trying to curb.

  5. it looked to me like the dude stuck his middle finger up
    so she slapped his hand

  6. @Glen, what i got from it was that she did what the face divas do, that is smack hands with the fans. The man held his hand out as people do when face divas come out to touch hands with the fans, and she responded.

  7. The irony here is that Michele McCool is so dull that someone has to slap ME to keep me awake whenever she’s on the stick. OK … just a little joke.

  8. Well, he did shove his middle finger in her face as she was walking past him. It was a quick reaction to a direct insult, and I can’t say I’d react any differently.

  9. She’s quite right reacting the way she did. I didn’t like how the guy shoved his hand out in front of her when they were walking to the ring. No manners at all.

  10. he was probably kicked out of the arena after that.

  11. Well McCool really probably didn’t know what to do other then slap the dude. Because if you think about it heels rarely go close enough to the audience to get a high five are a hey whats up. So Michelle being on the end of that 7 women heel line was probably so close to the barricades, she then saw the dude stick the middle finger in her face and was like Hell no, and slaped him. I also think most of these Men really act so inappropriate at these live events, yelling such volgur things at these divas its disgusting. I know for a fact being at a few of these live events most recently when Maria and Melina d. Michelle and Layla, the guys were like Make out, Take your tops off, I was like hello i am here with my 11 year old brother come on seriously. So i am happy Michelle slaped that dude more divas and fans of divas need to do that to these guys in the audience, because thats the only way they will show some damn respect. By the way it is wrong that i love Michelle McCool even more after watching this video, Oh my Michelle McCool is just Amazing.

  12. I am not a big fan of Michelle McCool i find her boring and not interesting but what she did was wrong

the fans can touch the wrestler but the wrestler don’t touch the fans

  13. “the fans can touch the wrestler but the wrestler don’t touch the fans”

being on tv doesn’t mean you’re allowed to be manhandled. if she was sticking her hand out to initiate a “high-five”esque slap, fair enough.

  14. The fans absolutely CANNOT touch the wrestlers. Why do you think there’s security all around the barricades? It’s not just in case some overzealous drunk idiot makes a beeline for the ring; the have to protect the wrestlers as they pass by too, because otherwise any jerk could reach out and punch a wrestler if they were close enough and get away with it.

  15. The Fans Cannot touch the wreslers no matter what but the wrestler if he or she wants can touch the fan. If you have ever been to a live wwe taping you would notice that they have massive security Guards all arould the barricades and even some walking back and fourth down the aisles just making sure they aint some crazy fan who going to make a run for the ring. I was actually very suprised when i saw all that security and i honestly think that the security guys get a little bit closer to the fans and barricades when the Divas come out just so no perv goes and trys to touch some boobies.

  16. I’m not surprised that internet fans are blowing the slap to the hand done by Michelle to a fan out of proportion. The internet fans not blowing something small up just doesn’t happen, especially when its involving Michelle McCool. Let’s face it, the internet fans, who dislike McCool, are simply using every single thing that McCool does against her. Lol. The woman could simply make a statement and those internet fans would blow the statement up. Just goes to show you how hateful the fans are towards McCool. Oh, when I say “fans,” I don’t mean McCool fans, I mean WWE fans, who dislike McCool.

  17. I haven’t seen this anywhere else but here. Maybe I’m not visiting the right places, but I don’t really think anyone is making a particularly big deal about this. It’ll be okay.

  18. Slap? what slap? either it happened so quickly I simply could not see it or the video is bad. But hand slapping is common though and yes it is a face thing they do. Heel’s don’t care about their fans and can’t be bothered to touch them. go back and look at all the hand slapping Maria does on her entrances and what Michelle did before her heel turn. The other thing is that people will act like drunk stupid jerks simply to try and get a reaction from the performers as they come by. By the time the divas match comes around people usually have been drinking for a couple of hours or more. At the live events I attended there ws usually someone shouting something rude and insulting.

  19. Keep your hands off of wrestlers. I think Michelle let that jerk off easy.

  20. I agree with Maxine, this is the absolute first I’ve heard about this. And the video hasn’t even had that many views… But on the subject of fans ‘absolutely not’ being able to touch wrestlers… I think that argument is null and void when you see an entrance like ODB’s.

  21. that wasn’t the middle finger, the guy was trying to touch the womens title so michelle stopped him,it’s no big deal

I don’t like michelle so i’m wondering who would want to touch her

  22. why do you guys even care about this worthless,it has no head no tail,we don’t even know if what we saw was what we saw,it was to unclear

by reacting to the video,we’re letting the person who made this video win,we should be stronger then that

  23. i agree that it looks like they were trying to touch the belt, not michelle. and seriously, whoever made that video has waaaay too much time on their hands. i have to admit i laughed at it. because its nothing to jump up and down about….

heck, i respect michelle & dont see a reason to change my opinion here.

  24. really??? i mean this incident isnt even worth mentioning, fans make these type of videos all the time. i remembr wen randy orton gt punched by sum1 in ecw and he ddnt evn touch the fan tht did it. michelle shud hav jus showed the type of control he did and keep walking insted of slapping the guy

  25. I’d be happy if Michelle slapped me. I’m sure than fan was too. He was laughing when she slapped his arm.

  26. Hi, It was not a slap, it was a love tap.

Hi Melanie, I agree that people need to stay on the subject being discussed, no deviations.

  27. I don’t think the fan or McCool really needs heavy criticism here. Let’s not be ridiculous. Fans touch wrestlers all the time. Slaps to the back are common when the wrestlers are close enough to touch, and there is absolutely no penalty for doing it. McCool’s little slap wasn’t a big deal, but she is definately walking on a fine line when she slaps someone’s hand away in a physically “non-friendly” manner. Especially in the “sue happy” society we live in these days. I certainly wouldn’t recommend that she do it again.

  28. seriously some comments ^

well anyways, slap? i seriously didnt see a slap? it looked like when michelle was doing her whatever kinda hand gesture the guy already has his hand down,

  29. Whoever is dumb enough to blow that outa proportion seriously has too much time on their hands.

  30. Where’s the slap ?…….

Michelle is a wierdo is all I can say she should slap her self a couple of times just for fun….lord knows her life needs it lol

  31. Even though I don’t like Michelle, she is not slapping the guy. She was just being a heel by pushing the guys hand away.

PS: I was wondering if anyone agrees that Michelle should stop doing that twirl thing. She’s a heel now, not a face.

  32. it looked like the fan was sticking the middle finger in her face and did the whatever hand gesture in his.

  33. middle finger, high five or touching the belt….mccool shouldnt do tht
she is heal and i think it normal when fans show some heat or try to react with wrestlers…it wasnt an attack it was just a hand after all!!

  34. He Basicly said F off to her.. she has a Right to remove his hand from Her face.

  35. To be honest I do not blame Michelle. If I were a wrestler I wouldnt like a fan to touch me or swear in my face. if i were Michelle a slap wouldnt be all he got! WWE fans must realise that the thigs that happen on TV are not real life! jeez some people take storylines to heart…
