As you can see, there are still inconsistencies within the each of the rosters. Let’s look at each brand:
Raw: The face-to-heel ratio here isn’t great, granted they have more depth than SmackDown does [more on that in a minute], but as Steven mentioned on the Roundtable last night they will probably have to do an unexplained heel turn like they did with Alicia Fox earlier this year. My vote goes to Gail FYI…
SmackDown: Even gaining Beth Phoenix & Mickie James, the SmackDown roster is still somewhat depleted as it was prior to the Trade. What does this mean for SmackDown? Well, if you were sick of seeing the same tag team match every week, I wouldn’t hold your breath on anything changing too vastly. Same match, new faces.
Also, Mickie & Maria are now the only two babyfaces on this brand, that doesn’t bode well for the viewers [more Maria wrestling]. Perhaps an unexplained face turn for Layla? If not, I hope they bring up someone like Serena Deeb, but that’s not likely to happen though.
ECW: Honestly, doesn’t need much analysis. I doubt there’ll be much wrestling going on over here except the odd match here & there. ECW really has become WWE’s televised training camp and having three current FCW Divas on there proves it.

Wow. That’s all I have to say.
I still don’t get if Jillian was staying on RAW, why couldn’t she have kept the title? Melina could’ve taken Smelly Kelly’s spot in that Tag Match since WWE wanted her to debut SO badly last night. I don’t give a damn, until that title is around Jillian’s waist once again, I’M NOT LETTING THIS GO.

I’m really disappointed overall. Not because so-and-so went to x brand. But because I really don’t think it was needed. Yes, some stars such as Beth and Mickie were getting stale.. but how about instead of changing the people who will job to them, they actually, ya know, give them more of a personality??
I love how the female GM, Tiffany, would be glad to give away two untalented twins for a lesser talented single person lol. D’oh.
Also, the whole Jillian thing.. Damn, that left a sour taste in my mouth – I pretty much liken it to the ordeal Tara went through where they took the belt off her pretty much straight away just for it to be passed along down the line to potentially Cody Deaner.
I want WWE to actually create stories and feuds and personalities for these women. Not switch up the rosters every two/three months just because they’ve exhausted all multiple tag match line-ups.
But all in all, I can’t wait for Beth/McCool. Although I get the feeling I will be waiting anyway, a long, long time.
The only sad thing is that mayrse is just gonna come bak and get a push for her Divas Title YAWN! Mayrse should come bak and take a back seat to Jillian not the other way around.
Mickie & Michelle matches I cant wait to see but its gonna be sometime down the road when we all start whinning again about the same matches over and over…maybe if they give these divas something called a storyline and some Air time then maybe we wont have to see random tag matches and stare downs every week.
ECW Rosa is just gonna be a manager no biggie,Im just glad she isnt on Raw anymore she served no purpose
I honestly cant say im happy for melina. It’s like they are tying to ruin the divas division. Jillian hall winning that title made me so happy then five minutes later my smile was turned upside down. This was just wrong truly.
It’s almost like they have put a bunch of random ideas for booking and in trading Divas from each brand into a hat and picked them out and there is not any real thought gone into it at all. How can they book matches when they don’t have any structure to their Divas rosters? It just boggles the mind how they can get it so wrong yet again.
Who are Beth and Mickie meant to face on Smackdown apart from each other – or will it be a continual never ending feud between Michelle McCool and Mickie? I am really wound up about the whole thing because it is just plain and simply not done correctly.
Just read McCool’s twitter, nice to know she was kept out of the loop, too. I’ve never been that big a fan of Melina, but I was definitely starting to warm to her over on Smackdown! Unfortunately, that epic screwjob of a match last night, has made me like her even less.
I am not a fan, as of now, about what has went down. I’ll admit, I had a bit of a mark out moment when Jillian won the title, but I knew something was going to happen as soon as Nancy O’Dell came out there. I am a huge fan of Melina, but I am sick of seeing her with a title right now. I would like to see a feud between Melina and Jillian, but I think it’s too big a coincidence that Maryse’s return is “imminent”. Jillian is almost guaranteed to have to take a back seat to her now. At least Jillian can be listed as a former champion now…
Michelle McCool will be the “face/poster girl” of the Diva Division on Smackdown and that will never change (well as long as the Undertaker is still active on Smackdown). I feel Beth Phoenix will play second fiddle because Smackdown’s Diva Division is and has been built around Michelle McCool. I feel like this is a demotion for Mickie James and the next step is a release. Unless Mickie has someone very strong in the ring to work with, she tends to be sloppy. I feel Gail Kim and to a lesser extent Melina Perez, are going to have to do a lot of “carrying” on RAW and their futures with WWE could depend on it. It’s almost that time of the year again when WWE goes on locker-room house cleaning, and I think WWE really is “making a list and checking it twice”.
Wow, I thought the raw diva division was crowded before. I think they should put divas who are not ready and still training on superstars that way they can show what they got and won’t need a storyline. Then they should put the girls that are not ready to be champions on ecw. And put the girls who are ready to be champion but not womens champion on raw and the ones who are really good should go on smackdown. Divas could be on ecw if it they didn’t have people who aren’t wrestlers have talk shows.
