The Divas match for Bragging Rights this Sunday has officially been announced as a six-Diva tag team match.
Divas Champion, Melina will lead the Raw team consisting of Gail Kim and Kelly Kelly against the team of SmackDown’s Women’s Champion, Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Natalya.
Notable exceptions include Eve Torres and Mickie James, though in the case of James it looks as though this match will be strictly faces vs heels.

At least it isnt another singles Melina vs Michelle match…Team SD is looking on FIRE!!!! Im all for Team Smackdown…
I say it will be 3 minutes…each will hit their finisher with Beth picking up the win over Kelly Kelly
so, judging by tonight’s superstars spoilers, perhaps a full blown heel turn for gail then?
tension in the heel team between beth and mccool?
and of course an end to the mccool/melina feud.

Go team RAW! I know its a pipe dream but I truly hope team raw wins. As much as Beth, Natalya, and Michelle are loved…..I personally find them quite boring. Remember this IS entertainment and they may be good wrestlers but in my opinion they are bad entertainers…or at least not as good as either Melina or Kelly.

i’m actually really excited for this match. fingers and toes crossed that it gets more than 5 minutes though. team SD is awesome. 3 of my favourite divas on one team. (if mickie were in it too, it’d literally be a dream match).
and i cannot wait to see natalya wrestle on a PPV. at this stage this match is basically all i’m buying the PPV for….
Not to be a know it all, but saying that Team SmackDown! is inferior to a pile of shit isn’t a good thing.

Anyway, I’m pretty sure she’ll be the one who gets pinned by Michelle or Beth. As much as I want Natalya to get the pinfall, it’s highly unlikely.
the only person i am surprised by is Natalya but since this is a Face vs Heel match i am really excited Team Smackdown baby all my favorites oh know i am excited Gail and Melina but Kelly x2 kind of kills it for team Raw…. Wooo go Michelle, Beth and Natalya maybe my girl Natalya after this match will finally get that push she so deserves!!
Does anybody know if these BR team matches are straight tag matches or elimination matches?? I would think RAW is going to win the Divas match and the 7 on 7 match, and SD will win the Morrison match…so a 2-1 win for the night. Do you think Vince would let RAW lose this show?
Just throwing out a possible finish WWE might do:
Late in the match, while Melina and a SD Diva are in the ring, the ref gets distracted by a fight that breaks out with the other 4 Divas. While the ref isn’t looking, Maryse shows up, and the announcers assume she is going to help Team Raw, but instead, she attacks Melina and causes Team Raw to lose because Melina has the title that you know Maryse will want ASAP. Doing something so selfish would be a good way to bring Maryse back and a good way to start a Melina-Maryse angle (if that’s where WWE is going).
Finally Gail Kim @ a PPV! I’m just happy that the divas are even on the card. Hopefully, this will be a nice outing for all the divas!
i’m not sure, mr.glamazon, but i’d take a guess at it being a standard tag rather than elimination (which i would prefer) due to it being survivor series next month..
I smell a heel turn for Gail!!!!!!! What with whats happening on Superstars and the fact that Maryse is going to come back in a character role for a while before she wrestles, that leaves the top heel on Raw spot open and who better to fill it than Gail.
I’ll be going to Bragging Rights this Sunday, I can’t wait to see this match live. I’m going to have to go with Team Smackdown on this one. As seeing they have the chance of winning, but knowing wwe I could be wrong. P.S Does anyone have any, diva sign ideas for me? I’ll really apperciate it.

Am i the only one who’s shocked that K2 got the nod over Eve?! especially with all the recent news that Eve is being groomed and seen by management as the future of the Diva’s Division? I personally think Eve’s earned the spot more that Kelly, Yes Eve is still green, but she’s vastly improved from her first match to now, and has shown she can hang in there with Michelle McCool and Natalya, Eve facing off against Beth Phoenix this Sunday couldn’t been rather interesting.
I want to see Natalya vs Gail!!! Team Smackdown looks soooo awesome!

i just don’t get it though, they should of done champion vs champion (melina vs michelle) to end their long feud.
Definately faces will win, i ‘m predicting michelle and beth will fight with one another leaving natalya getting sunset flipped by melina.
If Beth, Natalya and McCool are not “entertaining” then that may be because they don’t get as much character development as the other Divas do. Natalya in particular has never really had much time to show her personality yet. They are all extremely solid wrestlers esp. Beth and Natalya – I love how the stronger team is Smackdown and their all blondes – breaks the typical fans stereotypical view of a blonde in professional wrestling. Because they girls can really work a match.
Sounds interesting. I think if Beth don’t double-cross Michelle then they will win. If egos get involved then Raw Divas may get the win. At least one thing is for sure…..Michelle’s new attire!! I’m still crossing my fingers for red!
IMO it was a mistake to put Kelly in. They should’ve picked Eve since she is the better wrestler between the two of them. I wished that Mickie was on the team, but she not heel so I am glad they picked Natalya. I would love to see her give the sharpshooter to Kelly again. I think that team SD should win this one, the RAW divas are kind of becoming a joke.
The only move I’ve ever seen Eve do properly is a dropkick. I’m just glad that Natalya gets to wrestle on PPV.
if the Miz wins over Morrison,then the SD Divas will win.if Morrison wins the Raw Divas will win because Raw would never lose the Tag Team main event.

I’m fine with either team winning, so long as Kelly doesn’t go over any of the Divas. She’s the weakest link as far as wrestling goes and having watched the cruel fate befall Beth Phoenix, I don’t think I could stomach Natalya jobbing to her.
A heel turn for Gail sounds promising — so long as it’s a vehicle for her to feud with Melina and not to elevate Kelly Kelly or Eve.
It’s a shame Mickie isn’t taking part in the match as it would have added a good dynamic to the Smackdown team, but that Natalya has been given a PPV spot is nothing to complain about! I’m hoping she gets a fair crack in the ring.
Usually you would think that since Smackdown has Natalya and Beth that they would definitely win but the problem is if you look at how Bragging Rights is set up Smackdown is all heels (and in the Superstars case a few nobodies tossed in excluding Cryme Tyme). While Raw is mostly babyfaces. Plus when it’s Smackdown vs Raw especially with Bragging Rights there’s always bias towards Raw.
Now everyone is wanting Gail to turn heel. It wouldn’t work with the way they repackaged her now. If you look at her previous WWE run her persona was great. Even as a babyface. But the point being they have to bring that old attitude back. If you’re not sure what I mean then look at stuff her vs Molly Holly or Trish or Lita. Back then. You’ll see what I mean.
This is a promicing match how lond have it been since we had a tag team match at a ppv were 5 out of the 6 girls can actually wrestle?? Not in a while so i am thinking that this match will be a good one as long as kelly kelly is in the match a little as possible. Going for team SD but more then Likely team Raw is going to win :(
I think that Gail might show some signs of a heel turn, but i think It comes down to Melina and Michelle and Mickie comes down and distracts Michelle causing her to loose the match thats what i think, this match would be soo much better if Kelly was replaced by somebody elese, like Katie Lea or Jilly, even though they arent faces, I like Kelly, but shes not really any good, maybe when she learns some actual moves and less spots :) I rooting for team RAW on this one, because they normally make RAW look stronger than SD! and i really want Gail to win :D
