Thoughts after the cut:
Melanie’s Thoughts
Ugh, ugh, ugh! Considering we’re in Jacksonville, FL tonight it seems like the hometown girl got a big win. Does this mean Gail’s a heel now? Were they not just generic babyface best friends last week?

LULZ!!This was so ~exciting~.Lulz
October 20, 2009 at 2:41 am
hmmm interesting…. hopefully the match isnt as bad as these results.
October 20, 2009 at 2:43 am
Lol.
October 20, 2009 at 2:47 am
How Odd…..
October 20, 2009 at 2:58 am
Oh wooooooow. I hope so. MUAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAAA Kick some ass Gail. Hopefully they take her heel character somewhere this time.
October 20, 2009 at 2:59 am
UNACCEPTABLE!
October 20, 2009 at 3:01 am
Poor Gail… I hope the money’s worth it.
October 20, 2009 at 3:22 am
In all honesty, this match will probably be pretty good. If past Diva matches on Superstars are any indication they’ll be given adequate time and one would imagine their fast paced styles will mesh nicely together.
October 20, 2009 at 3:37 am
Lol, a spot monkey doesn’t have a fast-paced style. But I’m sure Kelly will show neat athleticism and Gail will carry the dead weight to a decent outing.
October 20, 2009 at 3:49 am
OMG :O
October 20, 2009 at 3:57 am
Eh, Kelly’s last Superstars match against Beth was better than any tripe Jillian has given us in the past few months, and Kelly did most of the offense in that match. I’m looking forward to this one. I don’t think it can be any worse than the match we just saw on RAW.
October 20, 2009 at 4:40 am
Complete and utter bullshit. Gail’s jobbing to shitastic faces now?
October 20, 2009 at 8:02 am
…Why? LOL. I agree with Melanie that it’s probably just the ‘hometown girl’ getting a win.
October 20, 2009 at 8:36 am
AHHH! are you serious, gails career has gone down the drain even more.
it better be a roll up by kelly.. but i understand if its the hometown thing

Week after week WWE succeeds in reducing all the greatness that Gail Kim achieved in TNA Wrestling to so much dust … just blowing in the wind …
October 20, 2009 at 11:23 am
I don’t care if it was the homegirl getting the win – they’ve made their finer Divas job in their home town before. Kelly Kelly isn’t a wrestler of the caliber as Gail Kim and therefore it will always seem nonsensical to me that she ever goes over clean. Frankly, I can’t wait until Gail Kim’s contract expires because it’s become abundantly clear the WWE just don’t know how to utilise her skills. She’s better off hoping TNA will resign her. We don’t need more blonde vanilla being pushed vehemently in WWE. Gail Kim offers diversity and pure talent but for some reason, just hasn’t been given the right support. I’m fed up of watching Kelly Kelly’s same three minute choreography. She’s vapid of personality, has no charisma but Hooters sex appeal and yet, for whatever reason, is arguably booked the best out of all the women.
Sorry, but I’m not a fan.

Now that’s BULL $%&*!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Kelly Kelly isn’t a wrestler of the caliber as Gail Kim and therefore it will always seem nonsensical to me that she ever goes over clean.”
Nonsencical? Gail Kim is the veteran who cant get over with the crowd, while Kelly is very populair with the fans. So it makes perfect sense (for the WWE’s pov) to let Gail job to Kelly. And even though Gail doesnt job much, this is probably the start of more jobbing. They have 6 faces on RAW, and Gail is the least populair one. I admit it’s not fun watching her go down like this, but you cant really blame WWE for this. The fans are just not into her, so giving her a push would even make less sense.
October 20, 2009 at 3:15 pm
Kelly Kelly is only popular with the fans because of the vain way WWE have promoted her. She isn’t a legitimate talent, wasn’t hired for her wrestling skill and her progress as an athlete has come at the expense of reducing more able performers. Gail Kim could easily connect with the fans if the WWE were willing to invest more in her. She hasn’t been given the spotlight long enough to do so. Having her job to Kelly Kelly doesn’t seem very wise. In fact, given the sheer difference in skill between the two, it’s patronising as a viewer. That’s just my opinion. I don’t rate Kelly Kelly and probably never will.

the strangestbullshitiveeverheard makes me say WHAT !!!!!!
this is bullshit ! i hope kelly wins by cheating !! SHE CAN NOT BEAT GAIL !!!
October 20, 2009 at 5:58 pm
Kelly should move to TNA now, I bet she can beat Awesome Kong now.
October 20, 2009 at 6:57 pm
Remember win Gail Kim won the Women’s Championship over Jazz, Molly Holly, Victoria and Trish Stratus on her first night in WWE in Toronto with her mom in the front row? Well Superstars was taped in Jacksonville with Kelly’s mom and friends in the front row. The match isn’t nearly as important but I’m sure Gail can relate to that feeling and doesn’t mind giving it to Kelly. Plus, every time WWE does invest in Gail she drops the ball. I’m sure she doesn’t mind letting Kelly get one over on her whereas five years ago she was being future endeavored for the same botches that are holding her back now. And why does everyone act like Kelly is a wrestler of Maria’s caliber? Sure she does the same moves, but so does every Diva on the roster, including Gail Kim, but Kelly doesn’t botch nearly as much as her.
October 20, 2009 at 11:59 pm
Oh, I’m very sure Gail Kim was gracious about the whole matter but I thought the whole point of WWE resigning her was to capitalise on the massive impact she made on TNA. Instead she hasn’t really been given the chance to enhance their product. It’s sad how one woman can go from spearheading a greater women’s division to putting over lesser talent. Which is what Kelly Kelly is. The difference between the two women is that Kelly Kelly has been an active wrestler for almost, what, three years now? Compare her overall progress to that of Melina since she returned from injury. I just fail to see how a certain look can carry you so far in WWE.
Having said all this, I will watch the match with an open mind and judge the job for myself. If it’s done sensibly and Kelly Kelly performs decently, I’ll certainly give credit where it’s due.
