Controversial TNA Knockout, Lacey Von Erich was ribbed at the Bound for Glory pay per view this past Sunday we have learned.
The script for the pay per view called for Von Erich to seduce and kiss the officiating referee for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship match and then have one planted on her by senior referee, Earl Hebner. Though the spot was scripted and Lacey knew beforehand, internally this was TNA’s way of slapping Lacey on the wrist for her antics since joining the company, says a source. Many were spotted ‘giggling’ backstage.
It’s been rumoured on various sites that Von Erich had a backstage run-in with fellow Knockout, Awesome Kong at the last set of Impact tapings.

yes, it was funny, but you write as if it was some form of punishment.

The Beautiful People are known to do things like that to get what they want–ex: Madison Rayne doing “sexual favors” for Slick Johnson at the Victory Road PPV.
and like someone already pointed out Velvet, Angelina, Madison, and Kong all had to kiss Cody Deaner.
It it obvious that creative just thinks that it’s funny, and I doubt it had much, if anything, to do with LVE’s recent troubles backstage.

Well… It wasn’t a punishment and I don’t agree with Melanie when she says it was a laugh at her expense, because if it was… Maybe all divas should wish for such. Because she receaved a HUGE pop when she kissed him. And thats what she needs to do to keep her job done in TNA.

You are inclined to believe whatever you want to believe, but as far as this being ‘bogus’, I wouldn’t report and never have reported something that isn’t verified with sources. Again, you can believe what you like but please don’t make insinuations towards myself or this site without proof.

I said “I bet this report is bogus”, not ” somone told me this report is bogus” or “I’ve heard this report is bogus”. Big diffrence, because I was making a personal oberservation, so no proof is neccesary on my part.
It’s not like we know who your sources are, and therfore we don’t know how credible they are.
And the fact that you are getting so defensive makes me wonder why you are getting so defensive. Further more it’s kind of unprofessional to be getting so defensive about a stupid little rumor about Lacey Von Erich that is not detrimental to your site or you.

Lacey Von Erich cant do anything right, lol but she just needs time to get used to this craziest ppl call wrestling. Honestly i believe that she may have been real nervous about this being her first PPV and forgot about the kiss, everybody makes Mistakes people just apart of life.
Kaledrina slow news day wow u barely figured that out, weds nights and early thurs are usually slow becasue they is now live tapings going on and The editorial team has yet to see the TNA impact taping, The wwe superstars taping or The smackdown tapings so of course this time of day are usually slow. Get ur head out of ur ass :)

Why should we put up with people who consume our content and then bitch about it or bitch about what we don’t give them? I don’t know if you saw Bound for Glory, but Lacey didn’t mess up at all, and was actually quite good in what she was given to do, the crowd loved her and the rest of TBP. I think this report was just saying that she was made kiss those refs as some form of punishment or “slap on the wrist”.
And I agree I think she just needs time to get used to the world of wresting. People usually learn in a smaller territory, like Sunny did in Smokey Mountain Wrestling before she came to the WWF, but she is learning in the big leauges. I think she has improved since her intial debut, nothing big but you cant tell she is starting to feel more comfotable in her role and is starting to get what the Beautiful People are all about.

Meh, I don’t buy into all these Lacey stories. Not saying you guys are lying or anything but seriously after awhile there’s only so much you can and cannot believe.
I guess some readers don’t understand the time and effort it takes to maintain this site, come up with original content, and keep track of news. We don’t mind if you disagree, as long as you express your disagreement in an adult fashion. However, outright insulting they way we maintain the site or trying to police the way we do it is extremely frustrating. Why should we put all this effort into something that people don’t appreciate? That’s how we feel when we get smartass comments. And Kaledrina, I know you probably didn’t mean for your comment to be taken that way, but it did. Especially given our efforts, it comes across as smartassed, just disregarding the work we put in. I’m not saying readers need to bow down or thank us or anything, but when readers comment in that fashion just makes it sound like they’re entitled to this, and we’re not fulfilling some unspoken promise or something.
It totally sucks out our motivation to see people throw our work right back in our faces, as if they’re saying “Not good enough, WANT MORE!!” Well, we started this blog to express our views and to have a venue to do things our way. Just because we’ve grown in readership doesn’t mean we’re going to change that. Helpful suggestions are fine, but wording them in ways that insinuate that we’re slacking or not “doing it right” is just insulting. If you want things done YOUR way, go and do it your way.
And this isn’t directed exclusively to this situation–it’s just something I’ve noticed to be occurring more frequently as of late.
