It’s a double for women’s wrestling fans once again! Tonight, WWE brings us Raw Divas action on Superstars while the Knockouts as always are going for full Impact!
At 8pm, tune in for Kelly Kelly vs Gail Kim on WWE Superstars. Then at 9pm, turn over for what is sure to be an epic battle between Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed.

How was that embarrassing for Gail? They had a nice back and forth match with many near falls. Its not like Kelly wiped the mat with her. Gail has had worse outings against better.

I’m guessing they find it embarrassing for Gail, because she’s clearly the better wrestler. I myself don’t find it so much ebarrassing as frustrating. Gail is a good talent and she’s likeable. Neither of which I see Kelly as. For myself, I guess its just first impression, last impression. Has Kelly gotten better? Sure, but its frustrating to see her go over someone who’s better. Id rather see Gail win, then watch Kelly get yet another push.

I think everybody is just blowing this out of porportion. They were just getting Kelly Kelly over in her hometown – in any other situation, I’m sure GK would have won.
But K2 got a nice reaction from the crowd. Gail had a lot of bumps to the head…worried me a little, but it seems like she’s alright.

What push? Kelly has been given one legit title match and it took her three years to get to that point. And it was only for the Divas title at that. Gail got an opportunity for the Divas title and choked on it. Its kind of sad that such a revolutionary wrestler can be outdone by two rookies.

A push to me, isn’t defined by a title being involved. To say Kelly hasn’t been used multiple times in some form of s/l even if just pigeon holed into an existing s/l is false.
Has Gail has a sloppy match here or there? Yes. But to say she choked on her title chance I don’t really agree with that.
I’m unsure however, why you seem hostle, i wasn’t trying to start an argument and I actually tried to explain my reason without slamming your opinion nor slamming Kelly that hard. But, it is infact just opinion.
You don’t see an issue with Kelly going over Gail, I don’t have an issue either I did however say I found it frustrating to watch Gail get jobbed and she was jobbed. It doesn’t matter if this is superstars or the fact that Kelly is the hometown girl, if anything that proves it was a job. Gails only purpose in that match was to lose. As someone, sorry don’t remember who, pointed out in the spoiler post. Gail and Kelly were face buddies one week and a few days later in a random match. Job Match. Simple as.
As for it being Superstars and not Raw I don’t think that matters either. Should someone be more outraged had this happened on Raw and not Superstars?

Giving credit where credit is due, that was a nice match. Kelly Kelly and Gail worked well with each other and I know it must’ve felt good for her to know her mother and (sister?) and extended family was watching. I’m not apart of her family but I can imagine what my mom would’ve said if I told her I wanted her to be a wrestler. She wouldn’t have been proud, but probably would’ve grown to understand it, than supported me through it. Kelly’s mom seemed proud and that’s pretty cool.
Now the Gail Kim gimmick project begins. Or at least I hope it does.

As for my comment about the match taking place on Superstars, I was simply stating that I find it kind of sad that Gail and Kelly are given more time on the least important show in WWE programming than the Divas champion and the #1 contender are given on RAW.

I don’t buy that Kelly being in her hometown makes her deserve the win – On Raw not too long ago, Gail lost in her hometown of Toronto to Alicia Fox!

I found your last comment to be hostel and sarcastic, i didn’t feel insulted. However, that’s the problem with reading something. Everyone can take the same thing a different way.
I have no problem with someone having a different opinion then me, and I don’t mind it having a debate so long as its done in an adult sense.
As for Kelly and Gail getting more time on the least important show, I agree. It’s silly, I take it at the ever present undying love that Vince seems to have for Kelly Kelly.

Seeing that Gail is one of the best female wrestlers in the WWE, I was disappointed she lost to Kelly2. But hey, its not like she lost to Rosa rite? I agree with some of the comments here. From the moment I heard Gail was resigning with WWE, I knew they won’t use her right the 2nd time around. And I guess she knew about this as well. WWE hates women who can actually wrestle! Datz just WWE! Its not a place for womens wrestling.

I have two theories behind Gail being signed. One being that she was Vince’s flavor of the month upon being brought over only for him to be over her by the time her debut came around. The second being that she was signed for that very reason, she beat Kong in TNA and was their top Knockout. He brought her back to have her be just another Diva and wipe his ass with her TNA career.

Please stop cryin over a match, kelly and gail did great!! Even if gail won, its still a match! + i think it was a good match that we’ve seen the raw divas do. gail’s time will come soon, just be pateint. I think gail brings out the good in kelly, and i think they should start a feud! maybe kelly or gail will win it randomly in a battle royal and they start a feud? i think that would be great!! && the BOTCH kelly did, haha it wasnt just her fault, i blame gail for it too.

Ugh. The reason why this bothers me so much is because the favouritism for Kelly Kelly is so blatant. Anyone who considers themselves a true wrestling fan can discern that Gail Kim is clearly the better wrestler. And how many other Divas have been made to lose in their hometowns, regardless of the stakes? I yearn to see Gail Kim being used the way TNA used her, but that’s not going to happen unless she opens a bottle of peroxide.
As for the match, I’ll concede that it was above average compared to anything that’s been on RAW for the past few weeks. But Kelly Kelly’s still a one dimensional performer. She hits spots, never sells them. Gail Kim’s moveset is far more expansive and diverse than Kelly Kelly’s, so it’s a shame.
