Move over Maryse, The Miz has found a new Diva to harass charm: Eve Torres. In what I can only assume will likely be a complete rehash of the SmackDown storyline between Maria & Dolph Ziggler, the Wrestling Observer website is reporting that the plan as of last night was to create a ‘long-term angle’ between the two.

Honestly, it didn’t work with Maria/Ziggler and it won’t work with Miz/Eve, these storylines are just terrible! At least I think the backstage segments won’t be as painful, Maria isn’t involved…
I wanted Eve and Jack Swagger, anywho I see a LOT more potential in either Eve/Miz or Swagger/Eve then I ever saw with Dolph/Maria.
The last great diva/superstar matchup was Hardy/Lita.
I think Swagger will be included in this somewhere along the way… Maybe Miz and Swagger fighting for her attention, putting Swagger into the US Title situation.
This will never work lol Swagger maybe.
Actually, I think she would work better with The Miz than Swagger.
I think this is ultimately being done to reintroduce Maryse with The Miz and initiate a feud with Eve. I like.
I was thinking of the same thing as B_Fizzle. Since Maryse is making a return soon. I though that this was a way to bring Maryse back and go straight into a fued.

Because it didn’t work in SD it doesnt mean that is going to happen in raw! Raw usually have good storyline(Well they repeat them but still) I see this going as the Stacy/Test/Steiner! They just show off! Anyway I preffer this than seeing her dancing with the Bellas and guest host or being in the shadow of Kelly, Maryse or Melina!

I can see it know Eve’s carrer is gonna sky rocket now that she is on Raw….oh wait no its not b cuz she is gonna b in a storyline with the Miz..tagging behind him in all his matches….poor eve i liked better when she was on SD…I was actually looking forward to her Womens Title Push but that wont happen now will it….Lets hope when Mayrse comes bak they start 2 build up there fued
A strange pairing, which won’t work if a device to set up a feud with Maryse. You can’t pair someone as big headed and ego centric as Maryse with a mid-card wrestler like the Miz. She has main event presence. I see her more suited to someone like Edge. As for Eve, I wouldn’t necessarily pair her with Miz either.
I don’t know why everyone is whining about this. Eve has been the third Bella twin since coming to RAW and I think it’s great she is going to finally be involved in something insted of just being an escort to the guest host of the week. Plus, Eve and The Miz are both quite good at acting so it should make for some great promos. And, Maryse is schedual for a return any day now, so it will probably lead to a feud between the two which could be quite good I think :)

If this brings Maryse back and puts her straight into a storyline and feud then I’m all for it. Maryse and The Miz have some great chemistry and the one match I remember between Maryse and Eve wasn’t too horrible and they have both improved since then. I think a feud between these two Divas will be more like a Torrie/Dawn feud, more about the story than the wrestling. Having two guys like The Miz and Swagger would help too as they are both good talkers and in ring workers. Maria and Dolph was really random to me and it seemed to only logical pay off would have been for Maria to eventually turn heel, but that never happened..

Yes, say what you want about Maryse but Raw has been really stale as of late. If she just nailed some more moves and worked on her timing she’d be golden lol. I miss that personality, she needs to come back and become the first woman to hold the Diva’s title more than once :) Jillian/Melina is just fluff until The Sexiest of the Sexy comes back and takes her title.

Yeah I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw Eve & Miz together. Thinking Maryse will come and they will feud. Would love to see this!

This is a great way to bring Maryse back into the picture. I don’t really see Eve going for the Miz because unlike Maria, Eve isn’t stupid, well at least her character isn’t. So i think in the next couple of weeks she will keep turning the Miz down and he will be like fine and tell Eve that she is nothing like his former fling Maryse and Bring her back to feud with Eve. :) If not that then My other guess is that Eve is just a way to get The Miz and Jack Swagger to feud for the U.S. Title.
