I have to say it wasn’t one person’s fault. it was both end’s faults. I don’t think the blame should be placed on one person.

Jillian is awful she botch a lot during the whole match and she making Melina look awful with her.

they haven’t even let jillian and melina have a singles match yet,all there matches are either to short or they involve chavo,hornswaggle,and santino,it must be very distracting for both girls.Also they only get like 2 minutes,there basically rushing and that leads to botches
I know it sounds horrible, but I’d love to injure that little Hornswoggle lol, keep him off of tv for a while.
But as for these Melina/Jillian screw ups, I am blaming them on Jillian. Just look at it this way: Melina looked good on Smackdown and even at the Bragging Rights match last night. She’s been pretty consistent for a while now. But as soon as she gets to Raw and has a feud with Jillian, things get nasty. Jillian has been slipping for months, botching moves and just looking sloppy most of the time. I don’t want to take credit from her because I know she’s a good worker, but she needs to step it up because she seems to be the only person who can’t take Melina’s moves.

yeah they really have had rushed time in the ring, and everytime hornswoggle gets involved, its pretty crappy what they’re giving them, but it probably doesnt help that the botches happen. hopefully though it wont stop the fued cause of the couple mistakes, plus they play them off pretty nicely, i mean jillian made it look like she did a good job in countering it, and then melina just had to do the split leg drop thing
That match was an abortion. It looked like they both messed up, but it got worse when Hornswoggle made an appearance. The crowd absolutely popped for him which took momentum away from the women (but made for a semi-distraction from the botching in the ring); and the crowd was absolutely dead for Melina’s finisher and the count.
This is redonkulous. Just let these two women wrestle one on one, no partners, no random appearances, just a straight up match. They can do it, we know they can. And let them go longer than the one and a half minute matches they’ve had so far. If you can even call the matches.

RKOyou-Actually,they did.When they had their mini-fued on Smackdown in 2005.Especially their match at Judgement Day,it was off the charts!
I honestly can say NO ONE PERSON SHOULD BE BLAMED. Melina botched her headscissors, Jillian botched the finisher and each other botched the rest of the moves. if your match is demoted to a comedy skit where not one person seems to even care about what you are doing it has to be degrading, frustrating and obviously will lead to botches, especially when your outings are 2 minutes max.
Wow, another finisher botch on raw…witht eh same two divas. Craziness. Not looking so good on raw lately.
But on a positive note, Melina and Jillian are pros enough to know what they are doing to recover from these things…Jillian knew to grab the ropes because she knew they were going to have to redo it. And melina quickly set up and did her 2nd finisher. I’ll give them credit where credit is due. All I hope is that with all these botches, Vince doesn’t ‘punish’ them too bad. Well that’s probably already happened since they have been pushed in an angle with hornswaggle and chavo pretty much 100% nowadays.
WWE needs to just let the women wrestle, because this is what happens if you don’t:
1. the girls will botch their moves
2. they will cram everything in a day or hours
3. the division will be turned into a joke, with carelessness from management
The matches on Superstars are way better then the ones on RAW.
Anyway, either take the fued seriously, or END IT NOW!!!
They should’ve let Jillian and Melina work some houseshows together before starting this “feud”. I think Jillian does about 1 show/month nowadays, so maybe its a case of ringrust?
I agree with Artie, I’m losing hope in Raw. Melina was a nice boost for Raw, but one good diva can’t make a difference. In regards to the match, both divas botched (Yes, Melina too). But like RKOyou and Mace said, you can’t blame either of them.

I really wish that I could watch a Divas’ match without…cringing.*Le Sigh* I know everyone complains about the match lengths, the comedy sketches mixed in with Divas matches, etc….but still. Even if all that is thrown into the match…at least make it the best damn 2 minute comedy match (without botches!!!) that you can. At least that way, it can be said that they did the best that they could given the circumstances.
How can people blame somebody for the botches? It was a fault on both ends! Melina was just carelessly trying to let Jillian do EVERYTHING for her, whilst Jillian was unable to carry her with no help at all. It’s nobodies fault.
Although, against Mickie James (somebody who is being sloppy in the ring) Jillian did really well. Melina got involved, and thats when things turned sour.
Plus, Melina almost botched a few times last night on Bragging Rights. If it wasn’t for Beth being able to carry her well, it would have been more noticable.
We should just be lucky that Jillian was able to improvise for THEIR (not Melina’s or Jillian’s respectively; both of them) botches.

I think that Jillian has also had a case of ring rust ever since she returned from her break. That may be a factor as to the botching, but im by no means blaming her because it happened to melina at one stage too.
Fact of the matter is, this botching thing has been happening with Jillian for a while and didn’t start with Melina until she came to Raw and started this feud. I think Jillian’s role for the past few years of being overlooked and underused has taken it’s toll on her, she’s just not into it like she used to be. Kind of like Mickie James..
TrishMelinaFan; It was clearly a botch by BOTH of them. I pinned nothing on Melina. Re-read what I said. Did I blame anything on Melina? No. I said it was both of them.
But wait a minute… isn’t this a place where we can share our opinions and thoughts? I believe it is… so if I dare to say it was Melina’s fault, I could say it all I want if it was my thought. But I said it was both of them, not one or the other, like many other people have.
But the evidence is there. Melina was on SD, something pre-recorded, and does great on it. She comes to RAW, and doesn’t do too well. Jillian started to get a little something for her two weeks back, and she performed well against Mickie. If I was to blame it all on Melina, I would have valid points to show my point of view. But as I said, I’m not blaming Melina or Jillian individually. I am blaming to two of them together.

Mmm…with The Miz and Jack Swagger trying to court Eve, will this be the return of Maryse? That’s all I imagined watching that segment, lol.

Yet another Melina/Jillian botch and it wasn’t just one, the whole thing was a botch. The forearms, the move leading to Jillian’s clothline, the sunset flip. It was all horrible. I thought moving Mickie to Smackdown will solve this problem but it looks like it’s still there with Melina & Jillian which BOTH are at fault.
Oh a better note, Eve was looking HOT as ever & it looks like they really trying to use her. Hopefully the hole thing leads to her being involve with one of the two men or being part of it at least. Loving Eve tonight!
all these botches lately from the divas is becoming a weekly trend. its more disappointing to see that most of the botches lately are coming from the veterans like mickie, melina, jillian,and gail.its understandable for the less experienced divas like kelly layla and rosa to have botches because they are still trying to get the hang of it. but as as far the vets…there is no excuse because they are supposed to lead the match and make it look good.the only excuse they could really use is that they didnt have enough time but if you been around for almost 10yrs like mickie then you know how to make 3mins against maria work.i just think wwe needs to get this division together stop trying to rush the diva matches and stop letting talent go to waste aka jillian.
I actually missed the match, the clocks have recently gone back an hour in the uk, so instead of raw starting at 2, it strted at 1 :[
I have however seen the match because someones already posted it online.
The reason there was so many botches was definilty because of the time they where given and everything had to be rushed.
The head sissors had to be done quickly so that hornswoggle could get to the ring, and Melinas finisher had to be rushed so that hornswoogle could finish whatever it was he was doing.
I do have to praise both Jillian and Melina and how well they recovered from the mistakes. I orginally didnt even think the head sissors was a botch because of how quickly Jillian turned things around and made it into and hard clothes line. Maybe this was even ment to happen but was just done a bit sloppy.
Melinas finisher botch was both there faults as they both lost balance. Jiilian stumbles first, then Melina puts her hands or the mat and sends Jillian backwards. Again Jillian quickly reacts and makes it look like that was ment to happen so that Melina could do her other finisher.
We’ve seen Jillian take melinas first finisher so many times so unlike what some people are saying she can definitly take melinas weight/moves.
I have to praise how Jillian and Melina work together. This match could have been so much worse if the same mistakes happened to anyone else.

i don’t get why you’re all making excuses for the botches. when their matches are not even two minutes wrong, that is all the more reason why it should be perfect. you can understand that botches may occur in a long match but not in such a short one!
The melina jillian “feud” is a joke – end it now. get maryse back next week. get the belt on her within the next few weeks. Let her feud with eve. That is all :)

Slapshot- Even if Gail Kim was thinking about returning to TNA, think about it. TNA would’ve destroyed her character and ring style. Look at each TNA taping. They are now having random 6 Knockout Matches throwing practically all their Knockouts so they can all get some air time. It’s pointless. You don’t even see a feud get started, it’s all done wrong. Look at who TNA is focusing now. Lacey Von Erich. You don’t think if Gail was there she’d lose to LVE which is more humiliating for her. TNA doesn’t know how to use their Knockout’s potential either. Gail would’ve gotten lost in the mixture and people would’ve forgotten about her. At least the time she was still in TNA, they didn’t have as many Knockouts as they do now. Gail is much better in WWE as of now. Look at Hamada, Alissa Flash, Saraita, Tara who are extremely talented, losing to the likes of TBP, Traci Brooks, Christy Hemme, LVE, etc. If TNA doesn’t start using their knockouts correctly or even fire half of them then the whole division will have no meaning. All it will be is random booking and the fans will get tired of it. At least WWE even if it’s backstage segments tries to create storylines and doesn’t bunch up a lot of Divas at once. Maybe WWE is saving Gail for when Maryse returns, or maybe Gail is just waiting for the right moment to shine. Either way Gail is much more secure in WWE than she would’ve been if she was in TNA at this very moment.
Okay enough TNA rant, It just bugs me when people bring down WWE’s Diva’s division when Dixie Carter is now becoming the Vince McMahon of TNA and starts hiring models,or beautiful girls and putting them in the spotlight where as their truly talented wrestlers get lost in the pack.
On the WWE Match. I thought it would’ve looked worse than how people were describing it. I think both of them could’ve handled it better but it is what it is. You could even notice Melina get annoyed because I guess the distraction followed by her finisher should’ve ended the match instead they had to do another finisher. I agree with all the comments though. They need to compete in singles matches and stop treating the Raw woman’s division as a joke.

I’ll be very surprised if a Maryse-Eve match is a botchfest. They both tend to only do things they have nailed down and nothing more, especially Maryse.
Ok the botches werent as BAD as I thought they were going to be, the girls somewhat improvised. However pinning their sloppy work on the fact that the matches are short is RIDICULOUS, if they are having short matches, the moves should be much crisper, cleaner and well executed as they only have a few to do. The girls just dont MESH together as well as they did on Smackdown all those years ago,
RAW isnt the kiss of death some of you would see it, When the Diva’s interact with Male superstars, consider it a rub more than anything else, I think its awesome that Santino/Melina came out to her music and Chavo/Jillian to Chavo’s. It shows you that the WWE is willing to bank a little more on Melina which is awesome. I believe the WWE is keeping the path clear for Maryse which is to be expected.
I’m done with Raw now, i cant take this any longer. Im through with the Bellas being escorts, I’m through with the 2 min diva matches, and I’m throught with Santino and Hornswoggle, and even you Chavo.
I’m tired of all the jokes and I’m just sick, It’s not funny it’s disguisting. I want to see pro wrestling not Saturday Night Live. They can live without this guy right here. The only reason I’ve been watching it the last few months is because of Mickie and now that she’s on SD! I have an excuse
