Courtney Taylor’s WWE.com Profile Removed

ECW Diva for all of three weeks, Courtney Taylor‘s WWE.com profile page has been removed.

Taylor took time off from WWE just as she was called up to the main roster and thus, lost her backstage interviewer spot to Savannah aka Angela Fong.

Fans of Courtney — real name Beverly Mullins — shouldn’t be in a hurry to rush to conclusions though, as it’s likely that because Savannah was called up in her spot, she has been moved back down to FCW. Taylor has been working FCW shows in the past month or so and is also a big favourite of John Lauirinaitis, WWE’s VP of Talent Relations.

If my theory is correct, more fool her. Not the best time to take a break and she’s found herself back at square one as a result. Courtney did a good job in the few weeks that she was present, she had a better first outing than Maria or Eve, who are now hugely popular. I think it just shows the downside of hiring ‘models’ who don’t necessarily ‘want it’ as much as ‘wrestlers’… but that’s a big ole can of worms that I won’t open today.

It definitely would look bad to management that she took time off so soon after actually debuting as a character on WWE TV. It’s like with any job, any time off when you have just started looks bad. She’ll have to work her way back up the ranks again.

Agreed @Kerry246. It sucks but in a way, she caused it.

I dont mean that in a horrible way, like if she absolutely needed the time off then yeah, but if it was just vacation time whilst just being called up to ECW, then its not a wise decision to make at all.

One can wonder, if Courtney had not taken this time off as backstage interviewer, would Savannah be called up as a wrestler?

I’ve heard if they ask for time off (doesn’t matter what for) they’ll give it to you,but it makes you look bad and in some cases people will get “pushed back”.

Aw, I saw some potential in her. Sad. But I can agree it’s partly her fault for taking time off in such a crutial part of her WWE career.

Too bad for her, but i’m ok with it. Her wrestling is on the same level as Rosa/Tiffany, so better keep her in FCW for another year.

Surely it’s common sense not to take time off like… 2 weeks after getting called up?
Also, it’s a little annoying, because now it seems Angela Fong has been called up to replace her in a non-wrestling role, when it would have been better to put Angela in as a wrestler.

I really hope she goes to smackdown, if she does come back. They are really lacking divas right know.

“when it would have been better to put Angela in as a wrestler.”

Angela said on her twitter SOON! when someone asked when she would get into the ring. Naturally we dont know what she means with “soon”.
