Following in the footsteps of Lacey Von Erich (didn’t work) and Natalya (worked out), WWE is reportedly scouting another third-generation female – Amy Hennig, daughter of the late ‘Mr Perfect’ Curt Hennig.
Amy has been wrestling since March 2008 under pro wrestling legend Harley Race, and according to Wrestling Observer, could wind up in FCW soon. Brother Joe Hennig is already in developmental.
The website also notes that Hennig is a ‘dead ringer’ for current Diva, Beth Phoenix and has mannerisms that are uncannily like her father.
What do you think? Will she follow Natalya’s success or stumble like Lacey?

She wrestles for a promotion that Harley Race run’s in Kansas City that isn’t too far from where I live. She also trained at his wrestling school in Kansas City as well.
I’ve seen videos of her wrestling, she is pretty good. Not much of a looker though.

Neither was Mickie James and a couple of other women in the WWE. Look at her lookin’ like her daddy.
This is true, although I think before the WWE glamour treatment, Mickie James, Natalya and Beth Phoenix were already naturally pretty. But maybe they can pull a Jillian and make her beautiful. Lol No, that’s wrong. Heck, why can’t they just market her differently and just push her as competitor?
I’m sure they either signed her about 2 years ago or there was talk she was being scouted by WWE about 2 years ago. She looks a lot like her dad, I think she’s very serious about being a wrestler and she is a strong built woman aswell.
She looks a lot better with her hair straight, but that’s irrelevent I suppose, she could be great.
She would be a great addition to FCW (and eventually WWE), and i’m glad she already had some training outside of FCW, that should give her a great edge.
Now WWE just needs to sign Rachel Putski (granddaughter of WWE Hall of famer Ivan Putski), who made her debut in SHIMMER in october 2008 as Rachel Summerlynn.
And in a few years from now we will also have Sarona Snuka.
She certainly looks like her father.
Lacey was never given a chance by anyone,people just hated her for no reason
I don’t know how natayla was a success when she’s just managing,she’s only been pushed once and that was like a year and a half ago

@RKOyou – Natalya was a succes because she didn’t dissapoint her last name, she showed the amazing worker that she is, I even dare to say THE best female worker on WWE right now, possibly along with Gail Kim and Beth.
As for Lacey, she was given a chance by TNA and the fans (at least me) don’t hate HER, they just hate her wrestling capacities, and they have the right to do so, entertainment world (like Britney once said) has those that entertain and those that observe, but to entertain, you’ve got to be good at what you do. I’ve said this a million of times before, I’m sure Lacey is a nice girl, but wrestling just isn’t for her.
I really hope this new girl gives us a “Natalya” and shows us why she should get a chance to be in the ring with talentless skinny implant-addicted girls! Oh and as for the “she’s not very attractive”, well, she sure isn’t as “hot” as Lacey, but she’s not such a terrible in-ring worker for sure!

I’m just fine with Natalya. I’m glad that they picked a good female athlete but they’re just getting hired because of their last name. There were alot of great wrestlers that got fired from FCW this year that were better than many of the 2nd or 3rd Generations superstars. There are tons of indy wrestlers with sick wrestling skills and charisma, why not just hire them? Natalya and Primo Colon are the only Generations stars that have impressed me in the WWE.
I just have to wait and see, because she could turn out to be great.
She Not Perfect
Funny how everyone kept going on about not wanting “models hired just for their looks” – they all said they wanted “real wrestlers” – then when WWE looks to bringing a real wrestler in who will not be there just for her looks, they all start bitching about the way she looks.
I have seen many photographs of Amy Hennig and she is definitely not unattractive. WWE would glam her up like they do with all their women though anyway, but still, no need to slate her for the way she looks.
Especially since so many people always complain when WWE hires models.

If the WWE’s idea of a makeover is anything that resembles whatever’s happened to Jillian Hall’s face, then Amy Henning should take pride in being “unattractive”. I’m not sure if the WWE has space for another powerhouse Diva, especially since Natalya hardly gets in-ring time, but good luck to her. I’d certainly like to see the division filled with more talent than generic models.
I just don’t think we need any more women right now. Id like the ones we have to actually get characters first.
So the girl has the wrong shade of foundation on, big deal. Any one who knows anything about make up should know that they’re so many tricks in shaping your face and creating a look with out having to get “work done”. She’s actually quite feminine looking body wise sorta built like Tiffany of ECW, except a lot more defined in her over all mass. Her looks are irrelevant because WWE has some top notch make-up artist and hair people, if you think her looks are discussion worthy you should see Kara Slice aka Cherry or even Maria and Michelle McCool. All beautiful girls but all have skin issues which are probably from excessive tanning and constantly having to expose to their skin to the wear and tear that comes with wearing make-up almost everyday. That aside I’m kinda eager to see what she can do in the ring, if it’s anything like Natalya is capable of then bring on miss Hennig.

RKOyou, you always bring up Lacey, but the fact of the matter is she doesn’t have the experience or the in ring skills, which is a lot of diva-dirt readers want to see.
Natalya may not be a top diva right now, but anyone who knows anything about wrestling knows she’s a phenominal wrestler. Let’s not forget she was just involved in a PPV match.
Skill speaks louder than looks (which can be modified if needs be with a bit of contouring), and I for one would love to see Henning become a part of WWE. For the record she has a Lady Gaga-like look to her.
My only problem with this is that I feel she would deepen the rut WWE has going on right now. There seems to be be 2 distinct sides. One features powerhouse Divas like Natalya, Kaite Lea and Beth and the other side being models like Maria, Kelly, and The Bellas. I view adding another Beth or natalya look alike as a bad thing. It would just add another characterless powerhouse Diva. The reason why Divas were so popular with the era of Trish, Torrie, Lita, Molly, ect was that they all had distinct characters. No Diva at the moment has a solid character. Melina once had a great heel character that was solid and well thought out and now she has been reduced to a girl that seems like smiling is her job. I feel like character with the Divas is secondary now to…well whatever they are doing but its not amusing people. They need to bring in different women distinct from one another again…not look alikes of people already there.

If she’s a good wrestler, more power to her, however if she’s just a Beth Phoenix carbon copy, she could end up getting lost in the shuffle.
Natalya is very sucessful, she may have only had one push but her carrer is very sucessful she is on SD carrying out her family name and doing what she has to do , she may not get a push for the womens title now but one day she will..
If they sign Amy , she would be a great addition to FCW she looks like another powerhouse but the question is if she gets called up where would she go…SD Raw or ECW
