In a minor spoiler, WWE will announce this Friday night on SmackDown, a traditional Survivor Series elimination match for the Divas. It will be Team McCool vs Team James, of course those teams will be captained by Women’s Champion Michelle McCool and Mickie James.
Given the lack of Divas readily available on SmackDown, I’m going to guess this will end up a tri-branded affair with the Divas ‘picking’ other girls from Raw and possibly ECW.

What the hell?!!Since when the hell are the captains from the same brand?I thought it was champions were captains!Oh whatever,I just hope Melina shows all their asses up!
Most logical would be:
Heels: Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, Natalya + Alicia or Jillian (probably Alicia)
Faces: Mickie James, Melina, Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly
That could also advance the Gail/Kelly storyline.

MelonyAdams-so mickie and maria are realy teaming up and they need 2 more partners that are not on the other brands,this would be perfect to debut some FCW divas but I don’t think thats WWE plan but i hope it is,maybe april lee and savannah

I hope personally that its not tri-branded and they debut two new Smackdown Divas Katie Lea isn’t a face though so how would that work? Fingers crossed it’s someone to make us all scream!
This may just be an all Sd diva match at SS cuz usually raw is the first to announce a diva match if its tri branded plus mickie and michelle are leading their teams and it would be weird to have melina since shes champion not head of the team. So SD might have some divas come outta no where, and plus lets not forget alicia is #1 contender for the divas title so we may end up with two diva matches at SS but this is wwe were talking about.
Maryse better be back in time for this match. I LOVE when her and Michelle get together. Sucks that they’re on different brands now. GO TEAM SMACKDOWN! …wait.
I doubt they are going to pick a FCW diva to make their debut on a PPV. That won’t make anysense.
Also, I doubt Maria going to be on team Mickie WWE isn’t that stupid. I think they are going to pick some RAW divas because they have to.

This match does sound very interesting. I don’t know if Michelle will end up winning, though. These matches end up being set up for heels to lose.

I am gonna go with who-ever has Beth Phoenix on their side.Being how she’s looking on SmackDown
lately.And let’s face it the diva’s on raw don’t exactly have fire power on their side.This year I think it’s
SmackDown’s turn to shine.Beth did one heck of a job on Bragging Right’s and there’s no reason to think she might not walk away with the .win.True their’s others on the roster but in watching raw since the massive Diva trade things have sure changed on Raw, an not for the better.How ever SmackDown has gotten the better workers in the ring.Who all’s gonna be on it’s hard to say.For one thing you surely want a good show for the Diva match on Survivor Series.
I’d rather they did SD vs Raw, like last year with the heels and faces working together, but I guess they’ve already done that….

I agree xmelissa. It’s much more interesting than the standard faces versus heels affair. I don’t like that they have heels be friendly with each other just because they are heels. Sure Michelle and Beth have problems, but Michelle was acting so ” best friend ” with Natalya during that Bragging Rights Tag Match, like we forgot that the reason Natalya even debuted was as an arch-nemesis for Natalya and Cherry. I would like to think characters are more complex than “faces stay with faces, heels stay with heels.”
It’s 5 on 5 Heels vs Faces Tri-Branded. It is possible for Maryse to return but Maria will not be there. She’s filming Celebrity Apprentice.

I do not think Jillian will be there. I think she is back to jobber status after Raw’s showing and the botches recently. Since when is Katie Lea ever used properly? She’s not doing much these days. WWE is not going to bring an FCW Diva in, on a major PPV. Some people also missed off Alicia who is number one contender so she’s bound to be there. If Maryse is to return I say she’ll take Layla’s spot.
Team McCool is kind of set in stone, but as for Team Mickie James its kind of hard to tell because if you put the four divas the majority of you guys are saying, Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, Melina and Gail Kim it will look like a Smackdown vs Raw Divas Match with Mickie James being the only diva on Smackdown. I really don’t think wwe officials will put her in that situation, were it will look like she is going up against her own brand and own team of Smackdown divas. So they are going to have to mix it up a little.
