Former WWE Diva and now officially [kinda] the biggest celebrity to come out of Baltimore, Stacy Keibler has revealed how WWE ignored her offer to be a guest host for Monday Night Raw.
In an interview with the Baltimore Sun, Stacy says she had her management approach the company but never heard anything back:
No one has contacted me. I actually had my management contact them, and nobody ever got back to us [laughs]. So I guess they’re not interested.
Burn. She can’t be any less of a celebrity than some of the people they’ve had on right?! It seems as though WWE is still somewhat bitter that she ditched them for something better. I don’t know about you, but they should bring her back as ‘one of their own’ who made it [relatively] big.
Meanwhile, Keibler has just won the Baltimore Sun’s ‘Celebrity Smackdown’ competition naming her the biggest celebrity in Baltimore and has just taken a post for ‘Dancing with the Stars’, the show which made her famous, as a correspondent on the ‘DanceCenter’ segment.
And just for sh*ts and giggles I guess, Stacy was also asked about the possibility of going to TNA:
The organization hasn’t, but Mick and I talk regularly. They haven’t contacted me to do anything, plus I still have my deal with ABC, so I wouldn’t be able to do anything like that.
Stacy in TNA? Yeah, I don’t think you even needed to ask if she’d go there but there ya go anyway.

She would have pulled alot more ratings than half of the celebrity’s wwe has had in the past like those two nascar guys who I don’t even remember there names.

Off topic but I was playing Kairi’s theme from Kingdom Hearts and Stacy’s pic came up here, and I was like “Aww cute.” =P lul
Anyway back to topic I’d rather enjoy RAW if Stacy were to be Guest Host sometime. Maybe the next time RAW is in Baltimore Stacy could host then? I hope so, she’d do an okay job. =)

Those Nascar guys drew 5.59 million viewers, while Trish drew 4.90 million. If there is 1 thing the ratings have shown sofar, its that the “celebrity status” of the host appears to have no effect. The minor celebrities often draw better ratings. However, in addition to the ratings WWE primarily cares about the media attention that certain hosts generate. And honoustly, i dont think Stacy will catch much attention from the media like Big Ben or Ozzy.

If they are willing to have Sgt. Slaughter or Roddy Pipper fill in a week, why not have someone actually worth looking at like Stacy?.. Honestly I would rather have her over those E! News girls also.

I would actually be excited for RAW if Stacy was the host : ]

I am a closet Stacy Keibler fan…
She may not have been the best wrestler, but the WWE fans loved her, and I would love to see her come back for the night. For gods sake, she’s gotta be better than those puberty-bound NASCAR drivers.

I knew Big Ben and Ozzy could get more media attention than any diva on the roster but the Nascar guys how did that happen?

I would love to see Stacy on RAW again. It would be great to have a guest host with personality who doesn’t flub their lines.

Ratings or not, I think it would’ve been a good move for both of them to have Stacy Keibler host. She’s a good talker, she still has an existing fanbase and probably even some bumping ability left. Not to mention she had a few storylines with Randy Orton and a few big hitters that rule the WWE now. I think some positive things would’ve came from her hosting gig. Especially when they have had worst guest hosts.
But oh well. No dust off her shoulder. She’s probably already over them, lol.

WWE doesn’t care about the divas! But It will be awesome and probably she could have a match??? At least she is know not like half of those guest host.

I only started watching WWE in 2006 when Stacy Kieblar was on Dancing With The Stars so I never really got to see what she was like in the ring but from what I’ve seen of her stuff I think she’d be awesome to host RAW! It’s exciting when WWE brings back former Divas!

stacy would be awesome, i personally would love to see her and torrie wilson co-host together. i mean they were the start of the model divas in wwe, except they were way more entertaing than the divas now
for wwe to not even acknowledge stacy pisses me off. they’ve done similar to torrie and dawn marie. need to quit being stubborn and support the women who helped them. no wonder wwe sucks now, it’s so shady they act like trish is the only diva that ever matters. they just keep digging their hole into a deeper ditch

No offense but was Stacy a huge star in WWE? No she wasn’t. Unlike Torrie, Torrie became a sex god in WWE, Stacy on the other hand while she was a beautiful diva, she never did anything impactful and huge like Torrie or Trish. People moan about this but can you seriously name one huge thing that Stacy did in the ring that didn’t involve her dancing around.

@dan333.. What exactly did Torrie do that was great in the ring? She wasn’t that much better than Kelly or Layla are right now. I am a Torrie fan, but come on.. Stacy had a very large fan base, still does, and part of Torrie’s success is thanks to Stacy who she feuded with for a good while. Stacy was very much over with the crowds as a face, especially when they placed her with Randy Orton, a top star. When was Torrie placed with in a storyline a main event star? I believe the highest she went was Carlito, I could be wrong.
Also it was Stacy they chose to use as the Babe of the Year, a title that was held three times by Trish.. Like Sunny, Torrie, & Miss Elisabeth, Stacy made her career as sex symbol and manager, and watch some of the reactions she gets when her entrance hit. When Trish went heel, Stacy was the most popular babyface, followed by Victoria.. Not sure why it’s requirement they did something “great” in the ring when some of these “untalented” girls made storyline progress while the “great wrestlers” usually blow every chance they get when given the chance to take part in a segment, minus Lita and Trish.
