ECW Diva, Katie Lea has seen some ring time over the past two nights in Germany where she has teamed up with Mickie James, playing a babyface.
Last night the former Raw rivals teamed up in a winning effort against Michelle McCool and Beth Phoenix in Stuttgart and accomplished the same in Leipzig tonight.
As much as I’d love this to be an indicator for television, I’m not reading too much into it. Perhaps the decision was made to have Katie as a babyface given that she is a German native. Though raised in Britain, Katie was born in Lüneburg, Germany. If so, that has to be a real treat for her!

Depending on the outcome of the Burchill/Hurricane match, SD is in need of another babyface, not sure if Katie will do the job, but hell if she’s in the ring, I’m all for it.

I hope katie and Paul go to smackdown if Paul loses to hurricane next week,but that doean’t mean katie will turn babyface, why would Paul and Katie turn babyface after getting kicked of ECW,it doesn’t make sence
It’s probably just for house shows, but I would love to see Katie go face. She has the talent in the ring, and her edgy image would go over really well.
Yeah it probably is just house shows but I hope its not maybe if paul losses tuesday they mite go to SD…..I do love Katie as a heel better but hell Im a Big ASS Katie lea fan im down for anything espically if she teams up with my top diva Mickie then hell bring it on
I don’t think it’s totally out of the question, since they still need another babyface on Smackdown and Katie Lea/Paul Burchill will be getting kicked out of ECW soon. I really don’t care how they use them – just USE them already!
Yess! I would love to see Katie turn face. They are desperatly in need of another face on SD and she could be the one. With Beth doing squash matches lately, its evident that she’ll eventually turn face anytime soon or atleast by the end of the year. If they did turn Katie face, then the SD diva roster would be even. It would look like this…

Faces – Mickie, Katie, & Beth when she makes a full turn.
It would make perfect sense for them to turn her face. So its evident that Paul will lose to Hurricane on ECW this coming week forcing them to move to SD
I quite like Katie Burchill, but her tragic languish in the graveyard of ECW makes me wonder why she‘s still in the WWE. I wouldn’t be surprised if Paul’s loss to Hurricane serves as their exodus from the company altogether. As for playing a face character, I’ve only seen snippets of her OVW work (which shows how big a waste her current spot is right now) but I do prefer her as the sadistic heel.
I liked/like Katie,but I’m not a huge fan of hers.The only thing that keeps me interested in her is her awesome goth-ness,and her AMAZING OVW matches with Beth and Serena.So,HELL YEAH I want a Katie turn!
European tour is 11 straight shows, they cant keep doing the Battle Royal winner gets a title shot.
Reports today that the talent is complaining of burnout, they have to change it up, with Mickie the only face its hard to do tag teams. Well thought out trade.
