It was short but it had high energy. I think that’s something we haven’t seen in a while. And on top of that Alicia’s new outfit is hot. Helps her stand out.

This is why, I prefer TNA (only at women’s division). WWE, especially raw is a disgrace when it comes to the women’s division. I miss the times, where Trish, Lita and other girls would appear in backstage segments that we’re actually GOOD. Please WWE, start working on the divas personalities (and this one, is a critic to all shows), give them some acting classes and more Mic time. That would make matches more interesting, instead of this display of pretty girls, because, to me, this was not a match, but only a “lets show hot divas to our crowd”.

when i first watched it and he said “its now a lumberjill match”
i yelled “OH FOR F*CK SAKE” lol

i was also mad that Alicia didnt win at first, i guess i assumed she would win because i thought this was 2 make up 4 her feud being dropped after the trade but never mind,
not that i have anything against melina i just dont like how she won thee title
bring on survivor series and maryse’s return

I was so disappointed when they said it would be a lumberjill match and I knew for sure Alicia wasn’t gonna win. I really wish the WWE would care about its Divas more; especially the Raw Divas.

P.S. That guy isn’t from The Office; he’s from 30 Rock.

That’s all the Divas’ divisions are now, battle royal matches to declare a #1 contender and lumberjill title matches.

The reason behind this lumberjill match for happening is that somebody was kind in the back allow to tall the Divas to appear so they can say “I performed at MSG!” Even Nikki and Brie where out there and they haven’t been anything but eye candy since being on Raw.

PS – I might not be that much of a fan of Alicia Fox, I loved her outfit.

I guess I’m the only one that didn’t mind the lumberjill surprise! If this feud had been building longer then maybe i would be annoyed but come on, a lotta people wanted Alicia to win the title but everyone knew she wouldnt (yet). Plus atleast this type of match gives more girls tv time, now if only it was more then 5 minutes!!

I agree that this didn’t feel like a title match, but Alicia Fox was really good. It amazes me how professional she is in the ring especially compared to some of the other non-rookie divas. I don’t think she deserves a title just yet but she better not be pushed to the side after this.

I agree with Melanie! So needless to say, I will never get my hopes up for a divas title match on raw ever again. All the divas looked fabulous!

So is Knee boots over jeans fashionable again or something? Every lumberjill seems to be wearing it, lol. Mickie stood out to me because besides wearing that shirt in the most trashy way, she was one of the only divas not wearing knee boots over jeans. Beth was the only other not wearing knee boots over jeans.

I wish one of them would buck the trend and not wear jeans for once. Seriously, in the summer all the divas seem to wear dresses for a lumberjill match and the winter they all wear jeans. I guess they never heard variety is the spice of life ;)

In the words on Heidi Klum “Alicia Fox you are out”, when that weird dude from The office announced it was going to be a lumberjill match I just sat back and said Alicia Fox got screwd once again. Why did they hype the match a week before and hype the match at the start of the show and have it turn out to be a lame ass lumber jill match? Why because WWE Monday Night Raw, wants Ratings and with Kelly Kelly and the other divas coming to the ring and sticking there asses to the Cameras, Fans rather then changing the channel stuck around to see what ensued, and what ensued was CRAP.

Short match I blinked and it was over, This was the first time i heard Alicia talk lol, she has a nice voice anyway um yeah what can i say Melina won via her weird flip thingy, Divas had a stripper like Brawl @ end, Mickies team came out on top, so this obviously means that Michelle McCool’s team will win @ Survivor Serious, and that weird office dude danced with Mickie and her team lol Mickie looked like a cow girl. Lame Raw, Lame Divas Match why do we all still bother?

That was disgraceful and Vince keeps on complaining that on how down he is with the divas division this just shows why it is crap right now.

The Lumberjills ruined the importance of the match and this really should have been Alicia and Melina’s moment i also feel that the reason why they made it a lumberjill because WWE feel like they have to put every diva on the roster for an kind of important event for WWE.

Overall an average diva match, but way too short for a title match. RAW just doesn’t give a crap about their divas anymore.

the match was a blur for me,i’ve watched the match lik 5 times now and I still can’t remember anything

I don’t know why everyone wants alicia to be champion so fast,we all know she will be champion in the future,it’s already a given.i like alicia but she isn’t all that amazing what people say she is,she is however the only current young diva with any talent and that has a great future

The fact is the match was becoming a decent match. But it was way too short.

Alicia Fox is the female version of Dolph Ziggler, she’s the only young diva on RAW that have talent but being used like crap.

9 out of 10 if Maryse is to be back into the title their match probably would longer but not as good that 1 minute match.

I like the idea of pushing it back to the week after Survivor Series. It could’ve been a good setting for Maryse’s return also, given she’ll likely be getting a big push.

They had the right idea back in 2007 when they had a week-long series of multi-brand matches featuring combinations of the Divas involved in the Survivor Series match that year. You could’ve had: Melina vs Beth on Raw, Gail & Kelly vs Jillian & Alicia on Superstars, Mickie & Eve vs Michelle & Layla on SmackDown.

The match itself wasn’t too bad, the work was there, it was just too short. I wonder if WWE will ever actually pull the trigger on Alicia rather than these one-and-dones. She has done a good job in her two ‘pushes’ so far.

It’s possible that after the reportedly bad showings these two had in their house shows matches on the European tour, WWE kept the match at less than 2 minutes just to be safe, especially considering they were wrestling in front of the very tough New York City crowd that will let you have it if you screw up. Still, though, pretty damn short for any match, let alone a title bout.
