It’s a shame that Gail Kim and Trinity are no longer in TNA Wrestling. I’d love for TNA Wrestling to showcase their dives off the top of the cage along with Tara’s in Knockout video packages.

Trinity was the first ever Knockout to do a move off the top of the Six Sides of Steel. It was Lockdown 2005, and Trinity did a moonsault off the top of the cage onto several X Division wrestlers.

Then at Lockdown 2006, Gail Kim hit a crossbody off the top of the cage onto Jacqueline Moore. These moves should all be showcased in some form in TNA Wrestling, because you will NEVER see this in WWE.

I kinda felt bad for Lacey, but its kinda true. She can't wrestle, and giving her an oportunity like this, because she's a Von Erich and because she«s a pretty face, is unfair, especially because there are many indie circuit girls that are way better than her.
However, I hope she uses the criticism as an advantage, and starts to work her ass off. Right now, the best that TNA could do is disband TBP in order to make them improve themselves. As for Lacey, put her as a valet and make her go through HARD training, and only put her back in the ring, when she has improved herself to the point that she isn't insulted everytime she enters in a match.

These matches were GREAT!!! Lacey most definitely needs to step her wrestling game up though. She's entertaining at times but she botches big time moves. TNA needs to bring in Krissy Vaine to replace her in The Beautiful People. I would love to see a NC hometown hero show them how it should be done.

Man,I just can not believe the amount of comments that each post has been getting lately!Amazing! It all started after the last live blog I believe...

The first match was nice and fun.Lol @ Lacey sticking hair in her pants/booty shorts.

The Tara/Kong match was fantastic!Definitely a match of the year candidate,if not the match of the year!I would have liked for Victoria to finish the match with her patented moonsault off the top of the cage instead of a simple crossbody.Still, awesome match.

i thought the beautiful people vs saritaylor and odb match was going to be much worse, but they suprised
me, not in the sense of it being good but at least watchable on the beautiful peoples half(excluding madison). And as for Tara vs kong, im very happy for tara that shes finally being treated good for her incredible wrestling ability, she really is a fantastic athlete and as for kong, the most dominant female ive seen in the wrestling industry EVER, that was an awesome match! and is a strong contender for womens match of the year. I do wish it was given 5 or so more minutes but im happy with the match they put on. lets just pray for some new contenders for the tag titles, although the chants to lacey von erich were a bit harsh. it is true and she didn't deserve to be in the match. but hopefully the chants have got through to TNA.

i think they will fire lacey soon, or send her back 2 training, there doesn't seem 2 be anyone routing 4 her in the crowds, eaven tazz seems 2 dislike her. they should bring back Angelina love or bring in a new beautiful person

without a doubt tara/kong match was awesome. tara gave her all, she proved why she deserves to be considered one of the best. parts of the match nearly had me in tears watching kong destroy tara, i felt the emotion and sacrafice. although it wasn't the fastest match, i'm very happy with tara's and kong's showings

after rewatching it, the cage match wasn't as great as i thought it was. it wasn't the first time we'd seen kong powerbombed in tna and the finish was too much like that of jackie/gail's cage match a couple years ago. it was just a bit too.. slow for me. and to not be nitpicking, but i found it kind of odd how tara's offence looks so weak on kong compared to, say, taylor or gail who are easily half her size build-wise.

Really enjoyed the Tara/Kong match. I still wish they had actually had a couple of matches leading up to a cage match and that this was for the title but the two do work well together and this is definitely a feud to revisit in the future.

"That was a harsh crowd tword Lacey for some reason…but atleast she didn’t buckle under that…with what little she did she didn’t mess up and it looked pretty good….hopefully she continues this."

We had characters like Debra, Miss Kitty and even an early Trish Stratus -- women who weren’t ready made wrestlers but were popular figures within the wrestling community. Hell, the former two won gold without so much as knowing basic wrestling manoeuvres. Lacey Von Erich’s downfall is that, thus far, she resembles a patented formula that’s been thoroughly worn out in mainstream wrestling. That and the fact she belongs to “wrestling royalty” only makes it easier to cast stones at her. Perhaps the claws should be put away for now. All TNA have done is hire her. They haven’t poised her for greatness but so far done the smart thing and pair her with a group she, as a personality, slots into quite well. She hasn’t been booked to look tremendous in the ring and she hasn’t gone over any credible wrestlers in the company -- unless people are heralding Christy Hemme these days? All I can see so far is that the company are trying to find ways to mask her shortcomings while she is most likely still training to improve on them. She shouldn’t take the harsh crowds to heart either, but look upon it as part of the learning curve.

LMAO at 6:28 Lacey clothlines taylor and the puts her arms up and does a cute/funny pose, hahaha XD

I wonder who will face saritaylor next for the tag titles, they don't have any other teams and with the firing of sojo bolt, the only heel options are daffney/alissa but knowing TNA,TBP will get another shot

The 6-knockout tag was very good and very entertaining, lol I just love lacey, her suckiness in the ring and her goofiness is amazing,LMAO at 6:29 Laceys pose was hilarious and her dance at the end of the match made me almost piss my pants

I'm still pissed off that madison is always the one jobbing for her team,it's a shame that Velvet and lacey are made to look like wrestling godesses while Madison who is clearly the best wrestler of the three, can't win a match to save her life.If any member of the beautiful people deserves a title,it's madison,i hate that she does all the work and then velvet comes in and takes the spotlight

One of the best women's matches I have ever seen. Tara's powerbomb of Kong...AWESOME, pardon the pun. And the finisher...shades of Superfly Snuka mixed with the Thesz Press. ODB, if i were you, look out! Come on Dixie Carter, DO THIS!

On the 6-ladies match, from the description, it seemed more to me that and here comes the G-word, GLOW could've made a better match than that, LVE's comic antics aside. This section seemed to put it into perspective...

"Lacey then does something that will possibly put her my good graces for all of eternity. She stuffs a piece of her lost extensions down her trousers and does a little hoe down. From what we’ve seen in the past, Lacey is a master at not taking herself too seriously and being able to laugh at herself. As embarrassing as weave-tragedies can be, that purely awesome act alone almost defuncts any and all of my criticisms of Miss Lacey. Key word: almost."

Wonder if she was given that chance working for wrestlicious?

I think Lacey will be the kind of underdog fans eventually to come to love (or at least accept) in spite of whether she progresses to a level that transcends criticism of her wrestling ability. I like people who don’t take themselves too seriously and I can only imagine how it must have stung to face that crowd once they began those chants. Many would have lost their bottle. No, she isn’t good in the ring, but since the Beautiful People are mostly about personality, I don’t see why she can’t find a niche within the stable. Just minimise her in-ring role; she can enhance the group elsewhere. The attempt to hug Kong and now the self-deprecating jig with the weave is too endearing. From this point on I just can’t join the vitriol squad. She’s had a hard time since joining TNA and I only hope one day she can prove us detractors wrong.

Anyway, as for the match, surely a lot of people will be surprised that it was relatively botch free? In fact, I’d say apart from the shady finish (having ODB overpower all three was a bit lame -- she doesn’t exude that much power) I would say it was a nice, fun little match. Velvet Sky’s shrieks are annoying funny, while Madison grows into her role more and more. My only criticism of Rayne is that she obviously has an abundance more to give as a wrestler and since she’s the only one who can get it done in the ring, TNA need to showcase her skills to qualify the Beautiful People as a legitimate threat.

All hail Lisa Marie Varon! Seriously, this, for me, was the most exciting women’s wrestling match of the year. It wasn’t technically perfect -- Melina and Michelle McCool’s NOC’s bout takes that honour -- but the energy and emotion put in by both Tara and Kong made up for that twice fold. Some of the spots were simply exhilarating. Anyone that knocks the athleticism of Awesome Kong is a fool. To pull off a missile dropkick at that size is incredible! I’m a huge mark for Tara, because I think her success in TNA really sticks two fingers up to WWE’s manifesto that great female wrestlers need to be young and peroxide treated. She deserves her spot as the company’s top face because she’s worked her arse off for it. The outcome of this match didn’t hurt Kong at all, because she’s one of those forces who is destined to be credible so long as she maintains that monster charisma. Gail Kim may be slightly more breathtaking, but TNA may have finally found a good replacement in Tara for establishing someone to revolve the division around. The reason? Like Gail, Tara strikes as someone who genuinely strives to perform at the best of her ability. Her love for performance is obvious. She is, in every sense, a true wrestler. Anyway, [/fanboydom] Haha.

Finally, I would like to commend Tiffany for putting together a great piece on this event. Given the amount of ignorance and derision women’s wrestling often receives from an editorial perspective, it’s nice to read someone who not only understands the product, but is able to form a proper critical analysis of it -- rather than just sexist and spiteful drivel you get elsewhere on the net. A well devised, entertaining read. Great job, Tiffany!

Nice job Tiff.

I think the Kong-Tara match could have used a little more detail in your Guide (but its all good and I'm just a picky baby like that). :P

Overall the tag team match was ok, better than I thought, but still not the best.

The Tara-Kong match I thought was one of the best matches in TNA's Knockout History, third only to the Kim-Kong No DQ Match and the ODB-Kim-Kong Triple Threat match. It had a great ending and a nice length, and only a few botches.

I was watching the PPV online last night and after the PPV on the message board people were sounding off best and worst and Tara and Kong were in all of the top spots, along with Angle and Wolfe and Styles, Daniels and Joe, so Tara and Kong made people notice again. :)

All things considered, the tag match wasn’t nearly as train wreckish as I pictured. Velvet Sky’s yelps are one of those things that are so annoying they eventually become funny. Out of all the Lacey pessimists, Taz seems to be the most passionate lol. Though, how anyone couldn’t help but love her after that jig is beyond me.

At todays tapings Saritaylor were involved in 2 more random matchups.
- Taylor Wilde vs Hamada
- Sarita vs Alissa Flash

So probably the feud with TBP is finally over.
