I didn’t really get the idea at first, but Maryse’s character definitely has a goofy element to it, so I can understand it. I liked Cole’s line about her being depressed about losing the title. Her egomaniac character probably would be that ashamed. It would have been better if she had used the spray can or DDT’d Melina, though.
Also, I think she needs to drop the hair flip if she remains a heel. When she did it tonight, she got some cheers and wolf whistles, not boos.
I love my maryse but her comeback was weak!! Michelle and layla was super hilarious:)))

So, I guess she back in the title picture. I don’t really want to see a Maryse vs Melina at TLC.
When you attack Melina I was thinking you would get booed this girl got nothing but “take rest of your clothes off” lol!
The whole match was just stupid but I like when Michelle and Layla left Jillian behind.
She had the worst comeback EVER and I can’t believe people were actually thinking the fans would care about her.

Maryse and Melina looked amazing. Only Maryse would have the instinct to taunt the crowd while taking forever to get out of the costume. She knows how to improvise. I didn’t think her return was lame. I mean, she did get out of the costume to reveal a tight sexy mini dress. Thank goodness Maryse is back.
I’m sorry, but Mickie is a little too thick below the waist. Tree trunk legs. I think it was a mistake for her to wear that outfit (especially next to Melina and Kelly), because that only strengthens Michelle’s case in the Piggy James storyline. It could very well backfire if the smark crowd starts Piggy chants, especially given how quiet diva matches tend to be.
Great song choices too. That awful Pilgrim song was hilarious. And the Indians came out to Tatanka’s theme. Pourquoi was icing on the cake.
But Maryse did look pretty.
Maryse’s comeback was effective I think, at least she got some reaction. Think about it, Divas aren’t really booed these days especially if they are as hot as Maryse. They get cheered and whistled at or no reaction at all. So when Maryse did her final hair flip and they cheered I was happy, there were also very faint boos. But what are you going to do, the WWE has a good character on their hands and they haven’t built her up correctly IMO (like most of the newer Divas) and they treat the ladies segments as jokes. The only reason I didn’t think Maryse was in that costume is because it would make perfect sense for the WWE to use the Divas time to bring out a huge turkey, just like they always bring out that midget or some useless actor from a poor TV show. That costume was a little too complicated and should have just fallen off instead of the shorts being a whole different piece, if it all would have just fell to the ground that would have been a good comeback. Ashley and Candice still take the cake for the worst comebacks though, seriously.
Not gonna lie, Maryse in the turkey outfit made me LMAO.

IDC how Maryse came back, I’m just super happy she’s back. Pretty dumb a turkey head from a costume could knock Melina out, lol. But, only Maryse could make a turkey costume look sexy :D She’s sexy.
That may as well have been Melina vs Jillian. The other four divas were just there to stand around and look pretty. The interview was pointless. Maryse should’ve just attacked Melina right away.

this entire segment was a disappointment…in order to make it easy on myself, i’m just going to list what was fucked up about this…
1. it seems like michelle and layla are pissed because they aren’t dressed like total whores…
2. why couldn’t either team get matching outfits? jillians outfit was brown and kelly kellys shoes weren’t ugly moccasins…
3. why have ANOTHER multi diva tag match if there are going to be no tags made?
4. seriously maryse? you botch a bell ringing? and wtf is up with her extensions…when you can clearly see where your natural hair ends and the extensions begin, it’s time to get a new weave…
5. i understand that having jerry go in to interview melina was their way of re-introducing maryse, but it was flawed from the beginning…first of all, unless the return is hyped, it’s understood that it’s a surprise…having something as out of the ordinary as having jerry go in for an interview is a dead giveaway…
6. why did mickie and kelly kelly leave? oh wait, they left because their presence would mess up maryse’s return…
7. maryse is gone since july and all she can do is beat melina with a costume head? melina did a good job of selling it, but she shouldn’t have had to sell it…after coming off a huge win at survivor series, they have her get beat down by the gobbeldygookers headpiece?
8. i’ve seen some of maryse’s modeling pictures and i’m confident in saying that she is very capable getting unclothed pretty quickly…
Overall, i’m left with two questions…
a…WTF???
b…who is dealing to the writers and do they want any more clients?
Normally I’d disect this but, who cares? Maryse is back and she’s looking great! Bring on the worthwhile feud!

Cole needs to get his facts straight. We all know that Maryse left last July because she had to have knee surgery. I guess that is why they have never mentioned her since last July. I am glad that she is back, but that was a lousy return. (Writers Fault)
Quick notes from RAW tonight:
1) crowd was HOT for the first hour of the show, but after the Cena-Punk match (which I thought was pretty good) it was dead the rest of the way. They popped for Cena huge and just had nothing left. Plus the matches started at 7:25 (Regal-Tatsu) and so it was a long night by the time the battle royal began.
2) The Divas segment seemed to get some laughs from the crowd but not much real interest – plus everybody knew Maryse was in the costume. She DID look incredible though when she (finally) got the outfit off. Wow.
3) Some jerk there had a sign that said “Beth Phoenix is my dad” and he is just lucky I was not sitting near him. He would have had the sign coming out his ears.
The Divas Champion gets Ko’d by a foam turkey head by the returning former “depressed” Champion.
The Womans Champion is in a “Piggy” fued with a former Champion.
Any wonder why Diva matches are viewed as bathroom breaks ?

What I didn’t get was, why was Maryse beating the hell out of Melina with a soft plushy costume piece? How weak does that make Melina look?

In a suit like that your line of sight is very limited, she probably didnt see the bell properly.
And people are overanalyzing everything again. It was a silly comeback, but ok for a program targetted for kids (something people here regularly forget). But more importantly, it was effective. It’s something the fans will remember for a long time.
Finally after how many months? … ‘GAIL KIM SPOKE”. WWE finally allowed one of the most talented female wrestlers in wrestling today to say something. Loved that segment … loved Ms. Kim and Ms. Fox and their interchange … Loved the pies too.
Glad Gail and Alicia were not part of that real “turkey” earlier in the show.
Maybe by Thanksgiving 2010 Gail Kim will be allowed to wrestle, and WIN.

I just watched Raw and I gotta say the Divas’ “match” and Maryse’s return was so underwhelming. Is Vince trying to make fun of the Divas? The crowd was so dead throughout most of the show!
Well, I guess that to WWE entertainment = make the female competitors due ridiculous stuff.
Btw Mikas, the show isn’t targeted for kids…its to a way wide range of people, like a family show. However lately the kids probably see more violence in cartoons and video games than in Wrestling Shows.
