Former TNA Knockouts Champion, Angelina Love told the Chicago Sun Times that she’s hoping to return to TNA ‘soon’.
In an interview with Love, real name Angel Williams, that took place last weekend as she reunited with her former tag team partner, Velvet Sky for an independent show, the ex-Knockout said the original Beautiful People would reunite in TNA once again.
”Oh, absolutely,” Love said. ”Don’t believe everything you hear, and don’t believe everything you read.”
”We’ll definitely get on that train again,” Love said.
”It’ll be soon,” she said. ”That’s all I can say — soon.”
”Of course,” Love said. ”I’ve got a little bit more time, but I definitely, whenever you make a comeback or whatever — for people who haven’t seen you in a long time — you don’t want to come back looking worse. You definitely want to come back looking bangin’ so …”
As reported last month, there wasn’t [at the time at least] any real talk about bringing Angelina back to the company. Perhaps things have changed since then but from what we were told at the time, there were some underlying issues during her run and TNA were in no real hurry to bring her back.
Angel is one hell of a talent and it would be a real shame if she didn’t come back to either TNA or even WWE.

I actually read a rumor, on Youtube in one video dedicated to her, that Angelina was or will be present at one of Raws tapings. But that would probably be a lie. I don’t Know. Maybe she will go back to TNA and TBP and Lacey to training.

While TNA would like her back, they’ve positioned themselves with leverage where they don’t necessarily need her, while knowing Angelina really has no other options (unless she drops her grudge with WWE). I think she’ll eventually be back to TNA, but not anytime soon.
From a business perspective, would Velvet really want Angelina back now that she’s the sole leader of TBP? She now stands out as the best wrestler of the three. Angelina’s return would take the spotlight away and bump Velvet back to second fiddle who can’t win a title.
I don’t think Lacey’s going anywhere if Dixie apparently loves her. Hogan probably does too, bringing her along to his Hulkamania tour. If those two have your back, you’re set.
Madison is the best wrestler of the 3,it’s very clear,velvet hasn’t improved one bit since her debut in 2007,she’s very sloppy and comes off as kelly kelly-like,always screaming in her matches

If Angelina comes back to TNA, I will be SO excited, As much as a fan as I was of the original duo, I kind of think the Beautiful People would work with 4 people.
It’s kind of like what RKOyou said. Angelina would be the leader, Velvet is second in command, Madison is kind of in the background, doing the ring work and Lacey as an occasional wrestler but mainly on the eye candy side.
It’d be like a Beautiful Army…
I rather see TNA try something new for a change. Like Alissa+Daffney, or Alissa+Hamada to spice up the tagteam division. Angelina’s return will result in another TBP-Saritaylor match, this time with TBP probably winning. Usually long feuds are a good thing, but this one has been terrible.
Or maybe try Angelina as a face, feuding with TBP. Or if we get the original TBP back, then at least kick Madison out again, so she can try a face turn. But 4 members in TBP is just too much.
I doubt TBP will have 4 members, especially because of the controversy of Lacey von Erich. After all she said some things about Miss Love, that I’m sure she didn’t like.
I think Angelina Love is possibly talking about Diva Dirt. since she says don’t believe everything you hear and don’t believe everything you read. So now she is starting to be against the media about how they report false information about her. with rumors of her not returning to TNA. like for example Diva Dirt says at the time. there were some underlying issues during her run and TNA were in no real hurry to bring her back. but how can that be? if Angelina Love posted on her myspace she would return to TNA as soon as her visa issues are clear up. how the TNA Management kept her clam though this whole oldeal. including Dixie Carter. promise she can return to TNA
Now my beef isn’t with Diva Dirt i know your hearts are in the right place. but please be careful where you get your information. there are some sites which makes up rumors. only for us readers finding out the wrestlers laughs at them and how untrue those rumors are. now when Angelina does return I would like to see her feud with TBP 2.0. especially Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne who turn on her on impact blaming all of there actions on her. where could they go with that storyline? would Angelina Love take her place as the leader again. or will she kick Velvet Sky out of her group for Betraying her. which then starts a feud between them
For the last time leave Lacey von erich alone. she is a good person there is no reason why TNA can’t keep Lacey von erich. and Angelina Love on the same roster. and make them work together Angelina doesn’t have any problems with her and defended her. after current sites were making a big deal about her comments. bottom line yes the girl can’t wrestle but she is trying to learn heck i know she can wrestle better then some of haters over here. you girls just don’t get how hard it is to learn how to wrestle. Next time know how to read. the comments Lacey von Erich said about Angelina Love were in Character. she was trying to play off what Velvet Sky and Madison Ryan said the other night on impact saying how they meaning TBP were glad she gone. but the problem was she was playing off of her heel character in that interview. but with those being the internet many took it the wrong with. either way Angelina Love forgave her and defended her. against those sites which reports false rumors. if Angelina Love Best Friend Velvet Sky has no problem working with Lacey even posing in pictures with her. I don’t see why Angelina would have any problems working with her next time think before you speak

I honestly don’t have nothing against Lacey, but the fact is she can’t wrestle and the fact that she’s a von Erich shouldn’t be an excuse to allow her flaws. There are tons of talented athletes that don’t have the right opportunities. And judging from what I’ve seen of Lacey’s work, I think any of us would do a better Iron Claw than she. But everyone as the right to have their opinions.
My opinion is simple: she can’t wrestle.
However I don’t judge Lacey as a person. I don’t know her, and I definitely don’t hate her. Especially because is stupid to hate someone you don’t know personally. However as fans we have the right to judge TNA’s and others promotions decisions. After all, it is us viewers and the people who watch the shows that pay their paychecks.
As far as I know, saying disrespectful things about a former worker, its only IN CHARACTER when it is said on a show, not on a interview that as nothing to due with that.

Assumptions and conjectures are just that. Obviously, no one but the parties involved would truly know the complete details – that goes without saying. Your own take on this report alone is even all based on speculation. We just call them like we see them. Not everything is as what it seems. Though, there will always be those who insist on asserting that they know better…
if angelina does come back, i’d want tna to go back to basics and ditch both lacey and rayne from the group. rayne is crying out to be a face and lacey needs some form of training. perhaps she could valet nash or something in the meantime?
i must admit, though, the silver lining of angelina’s absence has been in the improvement of madison. she’s deifintely started to show more personality and if love does rejoin tbp, i’d hate for rayne her to go back to her quieter, meek, uncomfortable self.
Madison is a future breakout star in TNA IMO but if TNA doesn’t want to capitalize on her if she gets kicked out of TBP,then Madison is just going to be the next sojo bolt, jobbing in random matches and then eventually getting released,something I don’t want to happen,Madison can seriously wrestler,her work in shimmer has very much impressed me and a lot of other people.
However rule #1 of the TNA knockouts division is,if your not kong,Tara,or TBP,you will NOT get pushed,something that needs to change.
I want TNA to build madison into a star,make her start winning matches against christy and traci brooks,make her connect with the crowd,let her add more moves to her arsenal etc.

If I got to choose the members, the beautiful people would consist of Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Lacey Von Erich.
Lacey could have Madison’s old role once Angelina returns. That would be a great role for her to learn in, as she wouldn’t necessarily have to do much.
Madison should just go on her own as a babyface. The only reason she is still in The Beautiful People is because Angelina was released, and they needed someone who can really wrestle a match. She just doesn’t fit….she has been fitting in alot better as of late though.
Angelina needs to return and team up with Velvet Sky again. The BP didn’t feel right with Madison on their team, and I think it would be pretty easy to turn Madison face. Or they could have Angelina come back as face, and turn Velvet face and have them feud with Madison and Lacey. They could even have Angelina come back and have a feud with Lacey for the “real life” things she said about her, and her taking her place. I’m up for anything to get rid of Lacey.
Madison Rayne will not be the next Sojo Bolt. Sojo had no crowd support from day one. Not only was she poorly booked, she also wasn’t a very talented wrestler. Part of the problem was they gave her a push way too quickly — before the crowd got to know her. Madison has more skill, in my opinion.

I would love to see Angelina Love back. No one does The Beautiful People justice quite like her and Velvet Sky together. I wouldn’t necessarily want them to get rid of Lacey Von Erich either. I so want to see Angelina return ASAP! She can clean house by giving LVE and Madison Botox Injections. I like Madison, but TBP are a duo not a stable. Angelina and Madison could then feud to help build up Madison’s face appeal and ring credibility.
Seriously what is up with the fans on this site, first you cry and moan about the work horse (angelina love) of the beautiful people is gone. Then i actually hear people saying they enjoy tbp2.0. Have i been watching the same product everyone else is watching. Because their three ppv matches have been extremely terrible if not for sarita and taylor wilde saving the matches, i had to cover my fragile eyes because it was so horrific maybe even worser than the last saw movie and that was beyond bad… I myself as a fan of tbp think this fraction should have folded when angelina was released, but tna can’t let a dead horse die they just had to keep beating it and beating it and then something like lacy von botch comes from those horrible beatings. Sorry but as i see it there is no more beatiful people just two horrible wanna be wrestlers aka lacey and velvet, and a decent at best wrestler like madison now known as the botchful people.

Angelina Love should examine the year of Gail Kim very carefully before she considers the WWE. They may pay her handsomely, but the only career advantage she’d have over there is her blonde hair. I’d really like for her to return to rejuvenate the Beautiful People and resume as the company’s top heel. The girl is obscenely talented.
@ spiffy: I don’t necessarily think Velvet is considered the best wrestler of the three. Madison Rayne is more able than her. She did, however, share the same level of charisma with Angelina, which compensated for her lack of skill. Besides, the two are best friends, so I’m sure Velvet would welcome Angelina back with open arms. Besides, Angelina returning would make the Beautiful People a feasible draw as Tag Team champions. Ironically, Velvet can’t win the belts without her.
For what it’s worth, of the two and a half Knockout matches TNA has in their “best of the year” poll, Angelina participated in two of them and she’s the only released worker listed overall.
Angel’s combo of mic skills,character ability play,and ability to bring it in the ring should mean something in the entertainment geared WWE. Though like adifferentsame,I am somewhat skeptical she’d be properly utilized to near her potential there. Which is a shame as the divas division,particulary with multiple titles,could use a shot in the arm.
I hope it pans out that Angel will return to TNA in short order. The Beautiful People are much more enjoyable and witty with her. Angelina’s various talents and the interaction between her and Velvet are what made the act special. If she returns,it would be nice to see them reunited. Perhaps or perhaps not after a period with Angel as face. Or that can come later,perhaps still allied with Velvet.
Madison has ring talent. Though I’m not sure how longterm an association with the BP is really for her. As opposed to finding a new partner,perhaps with a face angle. Lacey is in over her head and ought to be sent out of the act (if not TNA entirely) whether Love comes back soon or not. She’s not doing her family name any favors with her performances either.
It would be great if Angelina returned and led TBP. IMO they are nowhere near the same without her. Reuniting Angelina and velvet would make potential tag title holders (probably TNA’s original plan). Certainly the tag position is muddled and confused without a strong heel team, Angelina and Velvet would meet that aim. If she returns then possibly keep LVE as a background member of the team – I suspect TNA are still hoping to push her.
Not sure where this leaves Madison. Hopefully not teaming with Lacey. She is far better suited as a face, but having spent a year jobbing and losing virtually every match not sure where she may be heading. Rather like “RKOyou” I fear she may be the next Sojo Bolt, not on grounds of ability, shes a better wrestler as many suggest, but rather on grounds of the way she has been booked, jobbing losses and some of the story lines,. A clear direction (ideally face) is needed for her, and some wins if she is not to be the next Sojo and the next KO to leave.
Sojo moved back to OVW and just won the womens title from one of those Blossom twins. So becoming the next Sojo might not be such a bad thing for Madison ;-)
