I think they should just pair Alicia up with Jack Swagger. It sad that Alicia have to take the backseat to Maryse and I think that Alicia would have a better future than Maryse would. I think a little feud with Gail Kim and Alicia could work well but like Steven said they can’t have two divas feud at the sametime

I think Maryse might actually be able to wrestle. It’s her character, she hits and runs. Her character isn’t supposed to be a great wrestler! That spinning backbreaker she does I think shows that she has at least potential.

Like usual, I totally disagree with Tiffany.
Maryse makes RAW fresh, she’s easily the best looking Diva, and easily the most charismatic. She not only deserves the Diva’s Title, but deserves to have it wrapped around her waist by Melina after she loses it.
And no, I didn’t think of a condom.

You guys do a good job together but i think there is a lot WWE can do with the RAW division it is just disgraceful how much WWE is neglecting it because there is talent on that roster.
Maryse’s looked good and confident last night but i feel that she is good character but she does not have enough tools to really make her heel character credibile. I think that she needs to do more in her wrestling and broaden her moveset maybe working with Melina will help her out.
Melina is on RAW for a reason and WWE trusts her to help out the developing talent
The most important thing is i would like to see RAW divsion return to being the A-show for divas and it can happen RAW writers just need to take some time and really focus on creating a good feud between the girls on RAW.
I would not mind seeing an Alicia and Gail feud too as well
But overall i love Gail and Melina as a tag team i believe that Gail should be the number two babyface on RAW and if Katie Lea comes to RAW she can takes Beth place and become that monster heel.

So glad Maryse is back and greatfully, WWE did not have Melina win on Maryse’s return. I was worried a sec when Melina called for it but thankfully she didnt execute it xD
Least there was no awkward sloppyness as happens when Jillian has to put up with Kelly lol
Maryse’ DDT was ace weather the match had some sloppy moments or not
Hope Maryse gets that title around her waist once more

OK… no offence to any of you. The least i wanna do is offend you. But.. you all totally overate Maryse, the hole wwe & Diva dirt does. She is not even good, Maryse can’t wrestle. She get’s on my nerves… she makes me sick. WWE better not ever give her the belt again. When i seen her face come on the TV.. I said to my self-”Hey, there is a nice football game on right now, let’s see some tackles. I wanna see New Orleans beat the holy hell out of New England. I wanna see people who are good at there jobs”

So, Maryse isnt a very technical wrestler, but since when does that matter? Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, King Kong Bundy, Brutus Beefcake, some of the biggest stars in wrestling and none of them were technical. If wrestling was ONLY about technical skills, then Shelton Benjamin would be the WWE Champion, Bryan Danielson the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Nigel McGuinnes the TNA Champion. The most important thing in wrestling is that the wrestler can draw a reaction from the crowd, and wether you like Maryse or not, she is getting a reaction (not much, but more than the other divas).
Also dont forget that Maryse has a lot more moves than she shows on Raw. For example, she has a lot of kick-related moves (she has a martial arts background), but those dont really fit her wimpy/arrogant heel character. She does what she is supposed to do, which basicly makes her a good wrestler.

BLUEJAY: I like the idea of Katie Lea being a monster heel. She can really work and her movements are very crisp. However, I think she lacks one thing. Call me a traditionalist in a sense if you will but I think she needs a more devastating / convincing finisher. She needs a move that people will remember her for or something that punctuates her being a force to reckon with. I don’t know, that neck breaker is just, well, lame. She can do so much better.

I think a LOT of people who follow the Divas are brainwashed into what constitutes a “good pro wrestling match” thanks to indy feds like Shimmer and ChickFight. Or the opinions of others cuz I really don’t most Diva fans spend 20 bucks on every new Shimmer DVD. lol They want (and in most cases expect) the women to get at least 10 minutes for every damn match and that just ain’t going to happen for the WWE. Hell, the men on their weekly shows barely get that much match time every week. So, the results are that if the Divas aren’t doing moves left ‘n right to compensate for the lack of time, the match must suck. In reality, doing 20 moves within 2-3 minutes really doesn’t have same effect of doing 20 moves during a 10 minute match.
Maryse does her damnest to make her memorable for the 2-3 minutes of wrestling she gets weekly. We know that she’s going to run and hide after she laughs at the “good girl”. We know she’s going to flick her hair to “wash her hands” of the match. She doesn’t hit moves a lot, but when she does, she usually hits them pretty good. On top of that, she’s really hot and you hate that she’s such a bitch. That is why she stands out.
Some people really dig it because the other Divas, especially with women who are labelled as the “wrestlers”, the are virtually the same. Same boring “=D!!” face or the same boring “>=(” heel character.

I suppose it would be cruel to slate Maryse too much since she was shaking off some considerable ring rust in this match, but she really didn’t look good at all. Melina, on the other hand, once again injected so much character in the role. Sometimes she verges twee as a face, but you could feel the rage towards Maryse in her mannerisms in this match. Maryse, on the other hand, was pure camp. Melina should improve her workrate, but we’ll see.
Jillian made me laugh. I don’t know why. Haha.
And I still wish Gail Kim had a better spot.

Good show as usual guys, keep up the good work.
I enjoyed the match more than any other on RAW in a good few weeks, maybe even months, always good to see Gail in a real match and I’m so happy Maryse is back! She makes every segment/match worthwhile to me no matter how short, I really missed the little things she does that always make me laugh, the look she gave Jillian after that promo, her “unique” pin technique on Melina lol and most importantly…her celebration, what the hell, I was laughing my ass off, she celebrates like she won a World title then randomly falls on the ground and makes Jillian help her up! Maybe all the jubilation was too much for her after just recovering from that bad bout of depression that made her miss 4 months…
The Jillian segment later on was interesting…if I didn’t know any better, I’d think that was a way of writing her character out.

I think everyone who’s slamming Maryse’s wrestling ability needs to chill.. She’s come a long long way and her wrestling style matches her character perfectly! I think she’s been watching tapes from back in the day of Rick “The Model” Martel cause she’s like the modern day female version of him.. and I love it!!

i agree with xxChristinaxx pairing Alicia Fox with Jack Swagger would be a good move, it will allow her to shine in a sense, instead of sinking in Maryse’ shadow. Obviously that’s all WWE is doing and though I do love Maryse, having Alicia with her will only faulter her character. And by having A.Fox with Swag she will actually have time to speak and express her full character, what little character she does have at the moment.

the whole eve/jack swagger thing was dropped a long time ago,i don’t even know why people want the divas to pair up with the men all of a sudden,unless you want your favorite diva to be managing.The first rule about managing is once your in,it’s really hard to get out, examples are natayla and katie lea
the Jillian/mark henry segment was very funny,I laughed when mark henry crushed Jillian but it was obvious it was fake,mark took so long just to get on his knees but props to Jillian for selling the move for so long,she didn’t move an inch

No, no, no… I mean like the comments on here do. Like everyone acts like she is the best female wrestler of all time, she sucks. If i was some hot fake platinum blonde, with fake boobs and had a orange tan. Would i be the greatest wwe diva currently? If i flipped my hair and did a DDT & spinning back breaker would i be the the best diva with the best move-set? And to the person who said “And kelly doesn’t suck?” It’s because wwe uses the main diva spotlight for Ms.Frenchie!!!!

A lot of Maryse complaints are really weak, and honestly, it sounds like some people are bitter about her looks or just don’t understand the concept of this being a show and her having a heel character. You really complain about her being tan, blonde and having a fake rack? Guess you didn’t like Trish, Torrie or Sable either. As for her lack of moves, Maryse could go out there and mop the floor with all those women for all that we know, but we don’t know, because we’re given what she’s allowed to work with. Not to mention that she’s playing a scaredy cat heel who runs from her opponent. And guess what, it gets a reaction.
Burke, thank you for pointing that out! I didn’t even notice Maryse fainting after the match. Reason’s like this are why I love her. Of course she’s hot, all of the Divas are, but none of them bring the (intentional) lolz quite like Maryse.

MIKAS: Please read my statement carefully. I said that if BLUEJAY’S idea of Katie becoming a monster heel were to – by some twist of fate – come true, then she would perhaps need one.
But anyway, that back breaker you suggested (I’m guessing that’s the swinging one she used on one of the Bellas) then perhaps that could work. Almost anything, I’m afraid, is better than that neck breaker she uses.
