The Beautiful People’s Madison Rayne is supposedly receiving great reviews from TNA’s road agents, with the feeling that she is improving rapidly — moreso than any other Knockout, reports the Wrestling Observer.

On the other hand, they are not too fond of Lacey Von Erich.

It’s definitely nice to see Madison getting the recognition she deserves, she is verging on becoming a breakout star for TNA’s Knockouts division. Rayne is recognised in the category for ‘Best Newcomer’ in Diva Dirt‘s Year-End Awards. The agents’ response to Von Erich however, is hardly shocking.enter>

  1. I understand why they are high on Madison Rayne she has improved very much and has been a standout in the beautiful people, I dont think Lacey will last much longer in TNA even if Angelina doesn’t come back I fell that Lacey will never work and Madison and velvet will make a great two some.

  2. Congratulations Madison. Lets hope you get the opportunity to pin more. Its unfair for you to be always the pinned one, when you’re improving so much.

  3. Finally, i wasn’t the biggest fan of Madison when she first came in, but TNA were putting her as the third wheel & im now glad that she are recongising her & hopefully a push.

Lacey, 3 words.. “you can’t wrestle” but yourr fit ;)

  4. As much as I like The Beautiful People, I’m still hoping they’ll give Madison Rayne a face run in the future. IMO, she’s just too likable to be a Beautiful Person, although she makes it work. And I think her moveset will benefit from being a face.

  5. Blah, I still think the same about Ashley as I did when Shimmer put the tag titles on her and whatshername.. “Bland blond with fake breasts and really average wrestling.”

I am a fan of Lacey.. I know she ain’t a great wrestler, but I do think her style reminds me a lot of Kevin Nash’s wrestling. A few weeks ago against Sarita, I know a lot of people were ragging on her work. However, I think it was misunderstood. She was using her height advantage to keep Sarita from getting the upper hand.. But she failed to think about how Sarita is a lot faster then she is. Okay, I know it’s an accquired taste. It’s better then seeing the same “low dropkick, FCW dropkick, hurricarana, bad striking, generic moves 1 & 2″ moveset that most models turned wrestlers have.

Plus, she hasn’t worked in a lot of matches since coming to TNA. If you total her match time, she prolly doesn’t even have 3 min under her belt. lol

  6. I’ve noticed in the past few weeks that Madison has really been getting more comfortable in TBP gimmick than before. She’s showing more confidence. She’s one of the youngest people on the entire TNA roster, definitely one to watch out for.

  7. FINALLY,it’s about time my Madison get some props but I just don’t get it,their HIGH on her but she’s still a jobber at the end of the day, she’s always the one pinned all beautiful people tag matches

I do hope Madison turns babyface and becomes a big star, her heel character is going NO WHERE FAST,it’s obvious she’s just keeping angelinas seat warm.I AM A HUGE MADISON RAYNE FAN, her work in shimmer as Ashley Lane has opened MANY EYES and she’s definitly a breakout star,I just hope TNA pushes her

as for lacey,it’s nothing we already know

  8. Maybe they are high on her like WWE is high on Alicia Fox (not saying that WWE is high on Alicia Fox, but they certainly seem to look at her as their homegrown talent). Like they see her as the future of their Knockout’s Division and are looking to reward her for her dedication, but they know they can depend on her to carry TBP in a wrestling/selling capacity.

  9. If TNA were so low on LVE, surely they just wouldn’t use her or they’d fire her?

  10. I’m glad Madison is getting the recognition she deserves. She has definitely carries the TBP in a wrestling copasity.

As much as people rag on Lacey VE, I don’t think TBP would be still getting major attention without her. She fits in the group, she just can’t wrestle. She should just have a manager/valet type of role right now untill she improves substantially. She is the best looking barbie doll knockout they have, and I think TNA realizes that, along with the major people in TNA liking her. Lacey kind of reminds me of a young Torrie Wilson.

Every member in TBP serves a purpose right now untill Angelina returns and regains the reigns, which sound like will be in the near future.

  11. “If TNA were so low on LVE, surely they just wouldn’t use her or they’d fire her?”

The people who actually work with LVE (the wrestlers and the road agents) are low on her. But everyone else (the boss, creative etc) seem to like her. So she isnt going anywhere any time soon.

  12. Its about time. I felt that Rayne has stood out way more since Angelina Left. I hope they do carry out with there word. But then again you cant ever believe these wrestling companies. One minute they say there high on someone next thing you know they arent. Need I say Jillian & Eve

  13. LVE isn’t going anywhere in my opinion. She just came off the Hulk Hogan Australia tour, where she figured in most of the main events as Ric Flair’s valet. She usually interfered and took an atomic drop from Hogan according to reports. So Hogan likes her, apparently, and he’s going to have a lot of say in TNA soon.
So hopefully she gets along with people better and works to improve. I think she can.

  14. The agents can be down all they want. Hogan has final say. The time Lacey spent with him in Australia has probably helped her job security. It’s all about being close to the right people. Sheamus has a title shot because Triple H likes him. With that being said, I hope Lacey doesn’t coast through her tenure with TNA, and actually commit to becoming a decent wrestler. So far, not so promising.

  15. Madison should turn face. I don’t know what it is, but something about her just screams fan favourite, and I’ve never really felt like she fitted in the Beautiful People :S
    LVE… No surprises there really…

  16. *sigh* Not here, too, with the Sheamus/HHH thing. No comment other than that. lol

  17. “*sigh* Not here, too, with the Sheamus/HHH thing.”

Well, people like to complain, and pretend that they know everything that goes on behind the scenes, just because they’ve read some vague “news” report on the internet. Sheamus has the body that Vince so much likes in his topstars, he has wrestling skills (more than Cena), a UNIQUE look, and a natural Charisma. So he is the most -logical- choice to push (more than Matt Morgan in TNA for example), but people prefer to look for reasons on why he is pushed. Ppeople better get used to it, Sheamus+Drew are the future of WWE wether they like it or not.

Are you kiddin’ me?! Lacey doesn’t fit TBP at all. She’s brings nothing to the table and is only riding her family name to stardom. Without LVE around TBP currently wouldn’t be in near as back as shape as they are now. A once great stable is now considered a joke. Velvet and Madison could have kept TBP on top by themselves until Angelina returns.

I pray Velvet and Madison turn on LVE, beat the crap out of her and she’s never mentioned again.
    _ _ _

I hope TNA gives Madison a huge push. Currently she’s on the very bottom of list when it comes to win/loss record. She’s only won 1 match in all of of 2009.
