A gaggle of Divas were flown to Iraq last week for the annual Tribute to the Troops. The Divas attending included Alicia Fox, the Bella Twins, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly and Layla. Something tells me there was a reason why this group were picked — eye candy for the troops!

either the spoilers are incorrect, or there wasn’t a divas match at all. sucks if that’s the case – although it definitely makes sense as to why that crop of ladies were chosen.

The WWE Christmas shows just add some bit of energy. The wrestlers go all out for the troops and when I see that show, it’s fun. There’s just a vibe of energy I get from it. Of course there is the matter of the eye candy in the divas and not a divas match per se. But there are some women serving in the US Armed forces and they could have some women representing the ladies.

I love the fact that the WWE does this every year. Though, I always wonder how they pick which people to go. You know the top stars like Cena and DX goes, but what about the lower ranked guys? Especially the Divas. lol
I also love that Layla and the Bellas went cuz they be mah favorite Divas along with Maryse.

i’m guessing it was definitely a case of the eye candies, time time round. although of interest (to me, at least) the chosen talent are supposedly screened by the FBI. how cool must that be?

Yeah, but you would think the more used Divas (Mickie, Beth, Melina, Michelle, Nattie, Maryse and Maria) would be first in line for this kinda of publicity if that was the case.
But, not that I am complaining. I think as a fan of Layla, it’s great to see a more human side. Heck, you can say that about all of the people who go. Plus, last’s year shoot with the Divas were great in concept.. But I think only Kelly delivered in excution. More Layla photos = More me happy. lol
