The latest bits of FCW to hit YouTube have surfaced, originating from the November 28th show. First, we have a match featuring the former WWE Diva (for all of 3 weeks) Courtney Taylor and AJ Lee. “Queen of FCW” Mia Mancini is at ringside to survey the match:
I have to say, starting a match with a rest hold doesn’t exactly allow one to hold much promise for an exciting match. Overall, it looks as though both girls were stuck in slow-mo–even the arm drags were slow. Courtney’s definitely giving me a Kelly Kelly vibe, especially with the ginger ring movements and flashy moves (what exactly was that handstand move in the corner, by the way?). AJ and Courtney just didn’t seem to have much chemistry, with mis-timed exchanges scattered throughout the match. They never got out of the starting gate and seemed preoccupied with slowing the match down to avoid any mishaps. The only excitement I got out of the whole match was AJ’s finisher, and even that was set up awkwardly.
So the match wasn’t much at all, but why did it fall so short? AJ looks to have a lot of potential, but Courtney seems to be a little uncomfortable in the ring so far, and that severely limited the match as a whole. Hopefully she can improve her ring presence and buck the inevitable Kelly Kelly comparisons (like the one I made above.. oops).
Next we have an edition of the Abraham Washington Show, with Liviana accompanying FCW’s GM to the ring. His guest is new FCW Diva Aksana, who we featured on the site last month:
The announcers make comparisons between her and Pamela Anderson, and I can see it, but she hails from Lithuania and speaks in broken English, so I guess the comparisons end on the surface. She tells Abraham that she wants to be the next Queen of FCW (what is with obsession over that damn title?). Abraham continuously hits on her throughout the interview (with slightly less subtlety than a jackhammer), prompting Liviana to object a few times. He offers Aksana a place on his “cabinet” and gets her to says something in Lithuanian, but she is interrupted by the entrance of Eli Cottonwood, who everyone but Aksana seems repulsed by. He says a few nonsensical things, and she follows him around the ring a bit, seeming to be smitten. I guess what all of this amounts to is that this Frankenstein’s monster-esque guy has some new arm candy. They’re going for the “Beauty and the Beast” vibe, I’m guessing. That is, you know, if the Beast waxed poetic about the sound of bones in wood chippers..

Beauty and the Beast is one of the major cliches in Divas storylines. So, not many creativity points in there.
I know this going to sound weird but i liked the match it wasnt the best FCW diva match, But i like Courntey Taylor, she is so good looking haha, and that awakward move in the corner was with handstand, i like it lol
i hope Liviana and Aksana have a feud haha

Aksana is HOT! She reminds me of Roxy Mitchell from Eastenders, haha. I couldn’t even watch the match honestly, I got bored after a few seconds into the match and never ended up watching the rest.
They should stick Mia Mancini with ham and water, and give her a Jersey Shore gimmick. Not that, it would help anything or be entertaining. Just saying.
I really like AJ Lee, she has sooo much potential. Courtney Taylor looked really pretty here, I never realized how attractive she was. Too bad about her skills, or lack thereof. The match wasn’t bad but it was just really slow and there were no big spots. Aksana is really pretty too, kinda like if Trish and Beth had a baby that was then glammed up by the WWE. Hopefully she can get good in the ring because she has the look definately.

Yay, my 411 on Aksana’s debut got in here, gotta say when I first saw her in another video (out of FCW) I was surprised that she was a bodybuilder, I thought when they signed her she’d really stick out like a sore thumb, mic skills? Not that surprised in her other video she’s very broken, so I guess at least they’ve not dumbed her down. Hope she gets in the ring rather than managing Eli Cottonwood. Love Abe Washington in this with his Monica Lewinsky jibes, I think an authoritive position suits him far better than a chat show host or even if he just got in the ring on ECW, the guy is amazing muscle bound. I also liked Liviana’s short character development getting a bit bitchy in this, doubt it will go into a feud though as Abe shared Liviana with Rosa and nothing came from that.
Diva Match wise, I’m a big Courtney fan so to liken her to Kelly Kelly is a bit of an insult, I just find Courtney already has more personality than Kelly’s character and the gimmick suits her well, there’s so much flexibility with being a sorority girl than say Mia Mancini’s gimmick. Courtney’s been a heel since she was Wesley Holliday, though she broke up with Alex Riley, she never really turned at any point. HOORAY! Mia’s not in her ring attire, miracles do happen. A.J’s intro was a bit awkward seeing as we’ve watched her for the past month already, why introduce yourself now your in the middle of a rivalry? Chemsitry wise- awkward- but then again, Courtney and AJ have only been in costume contests before, this is their first official match, so what can you expect really? Some moves were really botched looking, but I like these two, they still have time to improve and Wade Barrett still making age jokes? God he really needs putting back in the ring, he’s not good whatsoever. That move Courtney did in the corner had me cringing for a second, I thought she took a leaf from Maria’s page with ‘Seeing Stars’ but it looked like a Stratusphere, but grounded. She did pull off a nice Chokehold STO too. Nice work from AJ too, I really like the FCW Divas, they just need more screen time in terms of developing the story rather than post-match stuff and commentary work.

I do like some of the things he says, going on about how Liviana will give him ‘whiplash’. A lot of people put FCW down, but it is really good quality for a development brand. I mean OVW, DSW and MSW were okay, but production wise they all looked like they were shot in the 30′s and paid little attention to their relationship with the WWE. Anyway, I guess this answers my previous request to see Aksana. I guess we’ve seen all the FCW Divas now minus Jillian Beyor, thats if she’s there not to just talk about taking nude photos of your girlfriend.
For whatever reason I actually like Courtney Taylor. I also have to say this is the best she’s ever looked not so much ring gear wise. But from the make up to the freshly installed weave, I’m really liking this long sleek look on her. I’m surprised WWE hasn’t jumped on trying to bill her in the same light of the likes of Kelly or Maria. A.J. needs to go back to shorts because pants make her look even shorter then she is already. Other then that match was okay nothing special but I like that finisher ole girl has.
Now here’s where I got to read the dead weight that is Liviana. This girl has yet to prove her significance other then being Abraham Washington’s interchangeable arm candy. Something about her strikes me as just no wanting to be there almost like she’s being forced. Girl if this is the case please move to left because they’re are ton of hungry ducks right behind you waiting to be feed. Hell I’d even rather watch Penny Cash in one of her over acted FCW gossip promos, actually scratch that cause her voice is death to the gods. As for that Aksana girl, I’m on the fence while her first appearance has left me with the assumption and opinion that she simple can’t put a sentence together. I’m gonna hold off until i see her wrestle, though I will say her appearance is giving me all shades of retired Miami bikini bum girls. Who just stay on the beach like it gives them life cause she looks a lot older then what she really is.
The match was alright. Some of the highlights for me were Courtney’s standing Stratusphere, and AJ’s shiranui. Other than that, the match was a little slow.
