Great show, I love the work you do here and the dedication to the site, D3′s a great show. My question for the Mail Bag this week is as follows:
An interview with Sojourner Bolt stated that she was due to get another title shot and storyline when Angelina Love was champion, however Tara’s arrival pushed her to the back of the queue. Similiarly, it was stated that Sarita was due to be the top Knockout of the company following on from Gail Kim, however Tara’s arrival cancelled that also. Regardless of whether she deserves it or not, do you think that TNA has pushed Tara up just by relying on her WWE past? And do you think that TNA should be focusing as much on her as opposed to original talent thats suffered?

I don’t really agree with the stuff about Melina.
“She does things we’ve never seen before.”
Huh? What does she do that we’ve never seen before? Her Last Call finisher? MsChif and Amazing Red have been doing that move for years. She probably got it from them. Using someone else’s finishing move doesn’t make you an innovator. Don’t get me wrong; I like Melina, but I think Bret Hart was being a little generous.

I agree with all your picks for who should go to TNA from WWE and vice versa.I think the show will work out great if it keeps going on like it has so far.I really enjoy it because they’re not very long,so they’re almost like a daily treat.Like a piece of chocolate that tastes really good,but you can only have on certain dates,if that makes any sense.

That Last Call finisher is originally called Yoshitonic. A move innovated by Shisa, one of Ultimo Dragon’s student.
Ed-Daniel never specifically said Melina innovated any specific move,ok?If anyone was actually listening they would have heard.Sheesh.
Im guessing he meant “innovator” in the division. Not actually in the moves she has.

With Angelina’s return being rumored to be Monday, or next Monday, how would you bring her back in to the company?
lol some ppl make it sound like melina stole Mischif whole move set she only doe’s the sunset flip bomb that mischif and amazing red and i even seen Rey do it one time on Jamie Noble. Hell wasn’t that trevor Murdoch finisher in the WWE
i haven’t ever seen mischif do the 180 kneeling face crusher
or the split legged leg drop
or the face buster off the top rope .
almost every body has used a move that another wrestler innovated
lol i still think it worse of michelle to use the styles clash then melina using a move that seems more then amazing red or mischif used
i never saw anyone besides AJ Styles or Michelle use the Styles Clash

Bret Hart called her an innovator, which is why I said Bret Hart was being generous.

It’s not that old. The move was created by Yoshiyuki Saito, who wrestled in Toryumon, and later Dragongate. He called the move ‘Yoshi Tonic’ (Leg trap sunset flip powerbomb) and debuted it in 1999 (so its relatively new). MsChif and Amazing Red both started using it around 2001 after watching a tape from Japan. A few years later Rey Mysterio used it (once i think), and Melina came later. It is however not used a lot like you said, it’s a very difficult move to actually make it look good.
