Reports have been circulating on various sites that Beautiful People member, Lacey Von Erich could soon be on her way out of the company. Von Erich is reportedly on ‘thin ice’ with management.
Since joining TNA in September, Von Erich has been a controversial Knockout to say the least; the day after her debut aired on television, an interview with Miami Herald in which Von Erich had some choice words about former Knockout Angelina Love surfaced. This then led to former WWE Diva, Sunny piping in with her now infamous horrible tirade against Lacey. It had also been reported that Von Erich had an incident backstage with one of the company’s top Knockouts, Awesome Kong.
It should be noted that TNA planted the seeds for a new programme with Von Erich and The Beautiful People and the returning Roxxi this past Monday at the New Year’s Knockout Eve taping.

i love lacey von erich,she better not get released.Sure she can’t wrestler but not everyone is perfect,i think she’s doing the best she can but just struggles,TNA NEEDS TO GIVE HER TIME,they just signed her

I’m going to be honest, if she leaves, I won’t be saddened at all. She hasn’t brought anything to the table for TNA in my opinion. Also, from what I’ve heard, she has a terrible attitude. And, in terms of The Beautiful People, I liked them a lot better before Lacey.

i don’t think tna need her, but the beautiful people do. as much as i miss angelina (which is a damn lot), i like how TBP are all equals now – love was always the unofficial leader – and they also do seem to be a closer unit, whereas back with angelina there, madison was very much the third wheel.
if they bring angelina back, and she rejoins tbp, sure.. get rid of lacey. but saying that, i don’t like seeing anybody out of a job, and i think she could do pretty well valeting for somebody (kevin nash, maybe?) while learning on the job.
as for the floating reports themselves, i’m not too sure whether or not i believe them, especially as they did film what they did this week with her and roxxi. why have somebody on “thin ice” go and “injure” one of the mid to top returning knockouts? although saying that, having her slapped by lauren could seem to be them venting their frustrations with her on tv, as well.

i think they should keep Lacey. She isn’t a great wrestler but that means TNA should train her. She isn’t a bad manager right now and she is the best looking of TBP without a doubt. If TNA released her it would be a dumb move, they should work with her.

There’s at least 10 other beautiful TALENTED girls in line, Lacey should honestly think about her health and her pride and leave TNA, she was not made for wrestling, or anything that needs athleticism for that matter. You can’t act soft on this things, she’s wasting TNAs money and she adds nothing to the company, sure she’s gorgeous, but isn’t Sarita extremely hot, I sure think Sarita has some shine that makes her sexy in some way, much sexier than Laceys spastic mannerisms.
So, good ridance if it happens, It’s sad but some people were just made for different things.

To be honest, I don’t see what made Lacey stand out of all the other beautiful blondes they could’ve replaced Angelina with. It’s likely to be the Von Erich name and Lacey should think herself lucky that she has her looks and her name, otherwise there’d be no chance she’d be signed. Seriously I rant on about Maryse and the Bellas, but at least the Bellas have their double drop kicks and their monkey flips and Maryse can pull off her five moves, Lacey I couldn’t even name one move that stands out, she just stomps and slaps and then tags out and its so obvious that TNA are trying hard to raise her profile through the ugly stick, seeing as she has no skills in the ring they might as well arm her to make her intimedating.
I really wish they’d put on the Lizzy Valentine match this week, because I thought she’d be an ideal replacement, though its been said she botched throughout the match, at least she did something other than pout and play around in the mud. Also, if people want her to stay just for her looks, go watch the Playboy channel if you want blondes and boobs. It’s wrestling not Miss World.

I wouldn’t mind if they kept her – granted she grows up. To me, she’s pretty inoffensive on TV. It’s like they are giving her the “stupid Maria” gimmick in The Beautiful People and that’s harmless. Unless they plan on making her look like a threat to people, which will never really work.
I’m pretty sure they are planning on bringing back Angelina Love regardless if Lacey is still in TNA or not.

okay i am a huge WWE fan, and i hope the demolish TNA, but i have to say TNA is trying so hard to make January 4th exciting and like the 90′s WCW VS WWF war but WWE seems like they are doing nothing which kind of sucks, i was hoping that each company tryed everything to out do the other, but it looks like WWE is doing nothing,
ANd with Angelina as a surprise return is exciting and i read that X-Pac is coming to TNA that night and he goes out with Nidia so maybe she will apear and also Tommy Dreamer is coming in to TNA that night so i am thinking maybe 1/2 ECW most extreme divas Beulah McGillicutty will come in, (hopefully).

This is why TNA should have had a tryout match with Lacey. Signing her off Wrestlicious(which doesn’t even exist) without trying her out was so stupid. They would have seen how bad she was and never signed her. They’ve been trying to train Lacey, but she has shown no interest in improving. Has Lacey bothered to work any indy matches since signing with TNA? Has see gone to a school?
With new Knockouts likely coming in, there is no reason to keep Lacey around. If she didn’t have the drama attached to her then I believe TNA might look at her as a valet or interviewer. But she’s not even SoCal Val. And people like Christy Hemme.

RKOyou — why on earth should they give her time? Have you seen her wrestle? She is H-O-R-R-I-D! She’s nowhere near ready for television and a blind person could see that. Even under the best conditions it would be a long damn time before she improved as much as she needs to become a competent worker. Not to mention the fact that she has a crappy backstage attitude. Why should they waste their time on this loser when there are any number of gorgeous girls on the indies who can actually wrestle that they can replace her with?

She should never have been signed in the first place. The casual wrestle fan doesnt know who she is anyway, so it’s not like she is going to attract new viewers. If they keep her around in a roll like “Hogan’s secretary” after Hogan becomes the GM i wouldnt mind her staying, just keep her out of the ring.
If TNA decides to keep her around i really hope they let her train first. Because people say that she still hasnt finished basic training (she left FCW after only a few months).

LVE wouldn’t be bad as a manager or such, but if they want someone who can wrestle they need to ditch her.
People say “give her time” or “train her”
She started wrestling for WWE about the same time as the Bellas, while they aren’t great, either one of them looks like a Bret Hart level technical master next to LVE.
Kelly Kelly has about 1 year head start on LVE, but KK was doing better in the ring a year ago than LVE does now.
I doubt LVE really could be much better, even if she wanted, being in the ring is just not her talent.
Now, like I said, she’d be a good manager

I will reserve judgment if she gets released. Until then it’s all just BS speculation by the IWC. Remember, it was the same smartasses like Dave Meltzer et all who reported in the summer that Beth Phoenix’s future was ‘in question’ with the WWE; and before that she was pregnant. Fast forward a few months and look at Beth – drafted to SmackDown, making a major return to dominance and seemingly going to turn tweener and probably another title reign!
I’m no Lacey fan, but you cannot fault TNA for they way they have used her. She has only worked tag match and a mud match. Her actual ringtime is EXTREMELY limited. TNA isn’t going to make the same mistakes like they did when they put Rhaka Khan and Jenna Morasca in the ring. Lacey is simply there as eye candy. She hasn’t received a push at all. TBP aren’t tag champs, Taylor and Sarita have come out on top each time, Kong and Hamada are being to get a push now. Plus Tara is the KO single’s champion. Lacey is a valet.

I am just curious how many people replied are actually being biased.
Ever since she did that interview dissing Angelina, most people have considered her to be the most evil bitch to ever step inside a wrestling ring. No matter what Lacey does, it sucks by default and she should be fired. Sarita decks under an elbow by Lacey, it was Lacey who botched. Lacey screws up a line, Lacey suddenedly becomes the only one to screw up a promo. If Christy doesn’t post, it’s Lacey’s fault the chokeslam looked bad.
Yeah, I am a fan. She’s good looking, especially compared to almost all of the other Knockouts in the company’s history. But more importantly, she’s funny. She shows that it’s okay if your not perfect. She shows that having charisma isn’t a bad thing for a Knockout. I think Lacey’s problem is that she performs in front of the iMPACT! Zone crowd. This is a crowd that doesn’t care for anyone who isn’t willing to break their neck just to get a “THAT WAS AWESOME!” chant for 5 seconds. Maybe if she was performing for the WWE, Lacey would be more liked. She doesn’t do much outside of playing an idiot and a couple of moves here and there. I don’t see what has been so bad about her run thus far.
Not everyone in wrestling HAS to be a great wrestler. If that was the case, no one would be considered a great wrestler.

Personally, I feel she’s a waste of money. TNA can find a pretty face anywhere. And odds are that same pretty face could work circles around LVE. As it is, she adds nothing to the Beautiful People. She’s not good on the mic. She’s not good in the ring. Why keep her? Plus, everywhere she goes, her bad attitude follows. It’s the same reason the WWE ultimately passed on her.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I might would have anticipated this if it was reported during the height of her IWC hatred, but Lacey’s finally started to prove her worth with her speaking abilities in backstage skits and she’s getting more comfortable on TV. Why would she be on “thin ice” when Hogan (who is high on her) gets some input in TNA? Not to mention Christy Hemme saying as recent as earlier this week that Lacey is a sweet down to Earth girl who gets a bad reputation from the internet rumors. For TNA to hire the girl with little experience, only to release her when she finally finds her footing, would just be so pointless.

I was so excited to hear that she was hired by TNA…and then I saw her ringwork. I wish LVE wrestled as amazing as she looks. She’s clearly gorgeous but that’s it. On some level, I am a fan of her, just for her last name (Kerry Von Erich will always have a special place in my heart), but her ringwork is atrocious. She makes Christy Hemme look like Akira Hokuto in the ring. I don’t want her to necessarily get released…yet. With each passing week though, its harder for me to root for her to improve. When it comes down to it, I’d rather Angelina Lve over LVE. I hope LVE can get it together backstage and improve in the ring soon….

While LVE in no way deserves her spot in TNA, I would feel just as bad for her as I did Jenna Morasca. Both were hired for their names, both were used up by TNA and released when they couldnt wrestle. TNA signed them, got their name value recognition, and let the girls take the heat when they sucked in the ring.
I hope people begin to hold TNA responsible for their actions, and not spew hate on the girls.

Lacey’s an asset. She doesn’t have to wrestle to contribute. Segments featuring her are always on the upper tier of Impact’s television ratings.
Don’t hate on Lacey for signing a contract offered to her (don’t hate on Jenna either). It’s what happens when rich people with no wrestling knowledge run a wrestling promotion. That said, her signing was a good business decision because of what she brings in looks and the ratings reflect it. Plus she makes peanuts compared to all the over-the-hill wash-ups TNA keeps bringing in.
Over half the people who show up to Impact tapings are tourists shoved into the Impact Zone from their Universal Studios tour to fill up free seats, who don’t no a thing about TNA, and honestly would rather watch Lacey botch moves in sexy outfits than Hamada or Taylor Wilde wrestle.
While I don’t doubt officials aren’t high on her, I’ll believe she’s on thin ice when these rumors swirl under Hogan’s watch. But these officials should work on more pressing needs like atrocious booking, dated gimmicks, awful backstage segments, and Hogan letting them keep their jobs.

Save not really taking joy in seeing people lose jobs, this isn’t really a big deal if true. Judging by her performances, it’s only a matter of time anyway. One should only expect to be able to be so bad for so long.
Her name wasn’t going to work with followers. Not at her level of ineptitude. TNA could have saved themselves some time and money. As well as some fans some cringes by simply youtubing her “work” from earlier this year.

She single handedly brings the quality of the division down around her and thus should be sent packing as soon as Love is back. It wouldn’t be a terrible idea to just make her someone’s valet, though. She does have the only necessary skillset to do that (looks). If in the future she shows interest in wrestling by joining up with a local school, taking independent bookings and/or getting someone on the roster to help her out maybe they can think about including her in the wrestling side of things again. She’s young and has plenty of time to learn but she has to want to learn first.

I don’t think Lacey intended any harm when she gave her infamous newspaper interview, and bashed Angelina; I think there was most likely a mix-up, and she thought she was suppose to give the interview in character, when she wasn’t. It’s like those Hermie Sadler “Hot Seat” Youtube videos we see, half the performers are in character, half are not (Daffney’s was in character, Madison Raynes wasn’t).
Reports have suggested that she’s been unwilling to further her training as well; not sure if it’s true or not, or if she’s simply putting it off due to her upcoming marriage, etc. I hope she does do training, to at least get on par with most WWE Diva’s. There’s always room for her in my opinion; We’ve seen Madison Rayne take the backseat of the group before, and now with Madison being more prominent, I don’t see her returning to that position if/when Angelina returns. Lacey can fill that role nicely.

and what i’ve heard about that controversal interview she did(and i read it)…i believe that it was a bit of a work…just to get some heat…and i wasn’t a fan and my take is
let her turn face and have the heels bump for her until she learns to work…or make her a bit of a comedy heel and use the negative energy to Create Kayfabe heat for herself…Honky Tonk man was the master at this back in the day..
