The extent of Divas Champion, Melina‘s injury is not yet fully known after she was hurt in the ring at a house show on Tuesday night. The Diva will undergo an MRI exam at some point today for a full diagnosis.
After the incident, Melina received medical attention and continued to travel to Syracuse, NY for last night’s final house show of the year. She was however, kept out of the ring and has been using crutches.
Please keep Melina in your thoughts. We’ll have an update as soon as we learn more.

Darn those furry boots!! LOL but in all seriousness (is that a word?), I really hope her injury is not as bad as some people are making it out to be.
If melina is injured I’m going to be really pissed.

Hopefully the severity will be similar to Michelle’s injury, in that Melina would only miss about month but still able to be on Raw in a non-compete role until she can wrestle. Royal Rumble is not far away.
Melina was probably really excited to perform in front of Bret. Such bad luck, bad timing.

i mean if it was ALC is really painful and surgery would be needed

Actually, an ACL injury is painful when it happens (obviously) but usually does not require immediate surgery. I blew mine out in Dec 2002 and had the surgery in Feb 2003. The docs like to wait for the swelling to go down, etc. It really is not painful but your knee has no stability. Some people don’t even get them fixed and just live with that instability…but we hear about these injuries most often with athletes and they need to get them fixed so they can continue their careers. Hopefully her MRI will reveal a sprain or lesser injury like torn cartiledge, that would dramatically reduce her recovery time.
I hope she’s OK, or at least not seriously injured. RAW can’t afford to lose her!
