We were a little saddened that Natalya‘s match got cut from this week’s SmackDown, but the good news is that FCW is here to [more than] make up for it. The Hart Dynasty Diva takes on FCW’s little firecracker, AJ Lee on this week’s episode of FCW. Watch below:
This was a nice little match that told a good story — the brute force of Natalya dominating her younger, smaller opponent before the fast paced AJ Lee mounted her comeback near the end. I like AJ’s pace, she’s quick on her feet and has good ring presence. Some nice spots here including AJ countering that tilt-a-whirl backbreaker into an arm drag and later Natalya catching her into a powerslam.
I’d love to see AJ moulded into an aerial wrestler ala Gail Kim and Sarita, she has the stature and pace but right now her moves are a little more ground based. I know she is an avid fan of Melina and kinda moulded herself around the Divas Champion before she joined WWE, but perhaps moving into a highflying style could separate her from becoming a mini-Melina.
Good match and it’s nice to see Natalya pick up a win.

AJ Lee is so cheery and jumpy, it’s like she brightens my mood everytime she enters the ring. I don’t know why but she seems so adorable to me. X3 lulz
Shame half the divas matches on the main roster aren’t as decent as this, I would be quite entertained if they were. =P
I say Serena & April better be sent to the main roster sometime this year, both deserve to be in the main roster, especially Serena. =)
this was a good match.. i really do think ecw needs a divas division so some female fcw talent can be on the come up.

it’s nice to know that the WWE divas division will be in good hands in the future,we have mia mancini,AJ lee,Savannah and natayla that can carry the division to great heights
the FCW divas are seriously showing up the divas on the main roster
i think AJ is moving up to the main roster soon,
Alicia and Rosa kept having matches with divas before they were moved up to the main roster

AJ Lee reminds me of daizee haze. She’s very quick in the ring and has alot of cool moves. Its nice to see aj lee wrestle someone like the 3rd generation diva natalya. Someone needs to upload mia mancini vs natalya too! Oh BTW Liviana is hot! I heard she is pretty decent in the ring too.

When I first saw AJ she reminded me of Melina, and her style is kind of reminiscent of her’s.
It would be interesting to see her brought in as Melina’s little sister, a babyface at first who later turns on her more successful older sibling.
She could pass as a younger sister, they do look a little bit a like
Yeah it would be cool if AJ Lee was called up, she’s really good and young and fresh. She’s cute and she’s not freakin blonde so it would be a nice change, and plus her style is different from a lot of the other girls on the roster. And jeez, they need to push Nattie. She is so freakin talented and she is just a natural, I’m hoping they are going to capitalize on her skills and maybe have her feud with Beth. Since she is on Smackdown it might happen if the writers keep it up like they are right now with the ladies. It would be great for Beth to win the Women’s title from McCool and Mickie and then Natalya sets her sights on the title and ultimately wins it. Book it people :)
AJ is half asian/half white and melina is hispanic so it could be hard to pass them off as sisters but I agree,they do kinda look alike,maybe they could say AJ is melinas half-sister or something
A great storyline would be for AJ to come to WWE right now and attack maryse,getting revenge for her sisters ACL injury
I really enjoyed this one. AJ is very impressive and seems to have a unique moveset. I think she will be a valuable future aquisition to the Diva’s division. Hey, this match was already better than a lot of the matches that the Divas on the main roster put on!
great match i like aj lee she’s lovely and a great wrestler better that other divas in wwwe roster.i hope that she’s go in the three shows this year.

The match was great, to be honest they could have aired this on Tuesday Night ECW, Thursday Night Superstars or even Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown. Anyway to my comments
- I love how the commentators (mainly Dusty) hype the divas to look as impressive as possible, and they are really into the match because you don’t always get that in the wwe. But on FCW the commentators really allow the divas moves to seem as impressive as they are and hype them as a wrestler and a characters
- Also just thought i’d mention i love AJ Lee’s nickname that Dusty gave her “Pocker Rocker” i can see wwe playing on this and making her out to be a Rey Mysterio type character for the divas, where she would face big powerful divas like Beth and come out on top some of the time due to her quick pase and fast move, like a “Pocket Rocket”
- Natalya also looked very impressive in the ring, though its been a while since she has competed there are no signs of ring rust to me, also they played on that she is ‘powerful’ and that ‘its only a matter of time before she takes on Beth Phoenix’ also they mentioned ‘a title win is coming in the near future’ in not those excat words, but they were along the same lines. All comments that i would agree with 100%

And about the storyline that would be cool, and when Melina comes back everyone is talking about the new girl making he rimpact and Melina sees her and shes like ‘=O YOU BITCH!!! >=O’ and everyone’s like =\ and they fight, and then they go into a personal story like when Melina’s father married AJ’s mum AJ used to torture Melina all the time, even though she was younger she always used to get her way and they made Melina out to be the bad seed when it was AJ all along. This would be very interesting to see happen, MAKE IT HAPPEN THE E!!! XP

Yeah I think AJ lee is asian. I think we came from the same ethnicity which is filipino. She looks like a common filipina in my country philippines.
why one earth is aj lee on fcw while girls like maria, rosa mendes, kelly kelly, bella twins etc are on the main rosters, even though i hate this phrase i have to say it aj is smart, sexy and powerful
crigginz – she is there to give the creative team time to come up with a suitable role for them. It also allows them to see what their main assets are, what kind of personality etc.
i’d MUCH rather see nattie as a face. she just doesn’t come across great as a heel but i think as a face the crowd wud really grow to love her.
