A second Divas match taped for tonight’s episode of SmackDown was cut from the broadcast, it seems. A six person tag team match saw Diva of the Year, Maria team with Slam Master J and Jimmy Wang Yang against Natalya‘s team, The Hart Dynasty.
According to spoilers for the taping, Natalya attacked Maria after the match and applied the sharpshooter in her. Fan filmed footage has leaked onto YouTube:
From the looks of the footage, it seems to me that they could have been leading to a new feud between Maria and Natalya. With an already red hot storyline with McCool, Beth and Mickie, the thought of another Divas feud may be overindulgent but I know we’d love it! We shall see if they re-start this at Tuesday’s taping.

Awe. They should have put this in the show! I want to see Maria actually do some work in the ring instead of just standing around.

The Hart Dynasty are awesome but no, the punjabi gayboy had to show up and do nothing but the same squash match we see every time from him. OMG! I am so pissed off.

Totally agree ReyStyle94, while I don’t know how long the tag match went they could have dropped the Khali farce match, what the hell was the point of it anyway, got rid of a couple of “Just moments ago…blah blah” are our memories meant to be THAT short…was there a raw rebound I don’t even remember but if yes then don’t bother with it since raw was garbage anyway & even if they had to edit a bit of the match, which happens a bit on Smackdown then THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN US A MATCH TO WATCH instead of cringing at the Khalie Krap as well as kick starting a secondary feud between Nattie & Maria which could eventually (and still may) get incorporated into the main feud with Nattie siding with LayCool & Maria with Mickie & I’m guessing an eventual face Beth. Gotta say I’m loving how they are teasing the Beth turn, will she, won’t she, oh not this week, reminds me of Batista’s fairly lengthy face turn when we had to wait weeks before he FINALLY turned on Evolution. Unfortunately that was the start of the ruin of his character afaic, I do hope they dont do the same to Beth. Tough Bitch face would be fine with be.

The Hart Dynasty need a push (that includes Natalya), and surely if Maria’s going to be Diva Of The Year, surely they need to put her in some kind of feud? (Preferably NOT a title one…)
PLUS, it looked like Maria was wearing street clothes. Hmm.
