In an incredibly fun match, the TNA Knockouts sort of made up for the earlier title shocker as Hamada and Awesome Kong became the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions, defeating Sarita and Taylor Wilde.
This is exactly the type of stuff I wanted to see more of on the show, it took nearly one and a half hours to get a good match that shows why TNA is an alternative. All the women delivered. Definitely go out of your way to see this one!

Awesome win for two women that work their asses off and deserve it!
the tag match made me regain faith in TNA,I guess I was just super pissed off with the ODB/tara situation
congrates to kong and Hamada,10 times better match than maryse vs. brie bella
Very good match. All four women should be proud. And it should be interesting to see Kong and Hamada as a team.
nice match! i hope hamada is ok!
Congrats to Hamada and Kong!
@RKOyou, your faith is easily shaken! :P
That was probably TNA’s best Knockout tag match yet. Congrats to Hamada on her first TNA title win!
my only problem is that other than traci brooks, they don’t seem to have any other faces to “feed” the new champions.
and seeing saritaylor rematches, no matter how impressive, will get real boring, real quick.
INCREDIBLE MATCH!!!
SOOO glad hamada and kong won…they will be unstoppable. That match was very high pace…and you could tell the girls were tired…when it came to some of the complicated moves they kind of went off kilter. But still, all of them were tremendous!
i really dont see them as a tag team. Saritaylor better not break up now coz ill be super pissed
To be honest I knew it was coming, but TNA should’ve built the two up more as a team and into a feud rather than Hamada feuding with Saritaylor. The problem I have is as much as I enjoy Hamada, she’s severely outshadowed by Kong who essentially dominates the division, I just think whether I’ll look back in 50 years time and still know who Hamada was or her actual character when she’s paired with one of the best known Knockouts in the business.
TNA needs to hire more female tag team wrestlers like the homewrecking crew rain and jetta or the ladies in pink jessie mckay and madison eagle or even bring neveah to tna and make her and madison be tag team partner so madison rayne can stay way from the beautiful people. I like april hunter and lorelei team too.
Looking Glass:
“I just think whether I’ll look back in 50 years time and still know who Hamada was”
You are aware that for most fans who are into female wrestling, Hamada was already somewhat of a legend before she signed with TNA, right? Check out some of her ARSION matches on youtube/veoh/dailymotion and she will be imprinted in your memory forever.
Although i admit that for the casual TNA fan it might be confusing to have someone with a title around who doesnt do any english promos. Maybe TNA can five them a mouthpiece (Kristal maybe?).
i knew they would win, i felt that 1 match had to have a new champion/champions
i suspected it would be the tag match,
i was also worried Tara was going to have another week long title rain and ODB won again that’s BS:(
But Mikas, most people who consider themselves fans of ‘womens wrestling’ only really follow the Divas or Knockouts, I’m aware of Hamada’s history but what she did elsewhere means nothing to TNA and a mainstream audience who haven’t seen her. I don’t think that I’m alone in thinking that Hamada is the Jannetty of the team in comparison to Kong, but its like you said then (and I have said many times before) TNA have shot down her chances of actually conveying anything to the fans by saying she doesn’t speak English, meaning she can only really communicate through her in-ring work. If Raisha Saeed was still there it could’ve worked pretty well with the three of them, however I don’t think any of the current Knockouts right now would serve as a good mouth piece to ‘Hamakong’ and the two will probably just go on being described as beaslty due to the fact neither one talk, but instead just fight.
Awesomada?
( i like saritaylor better thought tbh. I felt they was a better team, more connection )
The only complaint I have is that there was such weak build-up. I would have loved a full-fledged feud between the two teams.
@Jamal, the fully fledged fued is probably going to start with Hamadong winning the titles and continue into the coming months.
Well, this match was really good. Fast paced, entertaining and shocking with some nice spots including the sick end with the Missile Dropkick/Awesome Bomb. Hamada took her time doing it, but it was worth the wait. :)
So how are they gonna explain Kongs Departure.? are they gonna do A “tom zenk”
and say Kong is a coward…or is dixie carter gonna come out and say “that because of personal problems and the utter disrespect of Bubba the Love Sponge and she felt that this company didn’t support her..so unprofessional as this is she took her lipstick
and went home putting the titles in Jeapardy, and because of this…there will now be a tournanment”
