it’s gonna be Maryse Vs Gail for the finals. I just hope it won’t be on Royal Rumble, thinking of Maryse in a PPV gives me chills. SD Divas deserve the RR spot.
i cant wait for the alicia and gail match their last one was good. you never know it might be alicia vs maryse in the finals since they have 2 heels going for the wwe championship.
I totally agree with you zelos. I’m DYING for a triple threat womens championship matchup between Michelle, Mickie, and Beth. But hey, two womens title matches on the RR card wouldnt hurt.

I’m thinking it’ll be Maryse vs Gail. I’d like to see Alicia (or Eve) vs Gail, but Alicia vs Gail more. They worked their match in the past together really well so I’d look forward to what they’d do.

katie on the other hand tried to hold the match, she did well but it takes two person to tango.

but regadless, maryse is probably gonna win against eve and whomever win between afox and gail, theyre probably going to carry maryse on the final round. blah….
All indicators seem to point to Maryse winning the championship. What other purpose is there for Maryse to be on commentary on Eve and Katie Lea’s match? A friendly reminder of who’s the top Diva in the WWE? No other Diva has had the spotlight like Maryse throughout this tournament on RAW: no other Diva has even been given to opportunity to speak for that matter.
Based on the brief confrontation at ringside between Maryse and Eve, it appears WWE is already setting up a Maryse vs Eve feud once this tournament is over. Why would they take up precious time if there is no purpose to adding depth later on? I mean, why didn’t Gail Kim get the opportunity to comment or confront Alicia Fox when Alicia moved on to the next round?
My best guess is that it will be Maryse vs. Gail Kim in the end. It would be nice if the WWE threw us for a loop and gave us heel vs. heel or face vs. face, but I doubt it. Overall, I’m not disappointed with this bracket.

with alicia debuting a new finisher, i wouldn’t bank on her being knocked out by gail just yet.

So that they have a face vs heel match which obviously Maryse is going to come out on top as the winner. They wouldn’t do a heel vs heel or a face vs face match. But either way, I am not looking forward this at all knowing that Maryse is gonna win. Anybody but her. I don’t need another Maryse title reign. If anybody deserves the title, its Gail. But knowing WWE it won’t happen since they’re treating her like a jobber now.

if we were looking at her tna career, sure. but let’s be honest, she debuted, won a couple singles matches over on smackdown, and not done much else other than screw up a match with mickie and piggyback on other people’s wins in tag matches. like i said before, last week was her first singles victory in nine months, NINE months! she could’ve gave birth between that time! if gail kim deserves that belt, then so does kelly kelly.
i love gail to bits, but at the rate she’s been going, she doesn’t deserve that title. at least maryse (who i really don’t care about) or alicia have been winning solo matches.
Alicia is good, but she definitely doesn’t deserve a title just yet. It’s going to be Maryse vs Gail Kim and Gail Kim is TOTALLY going to win. Then they’re gonna extend the feud until Maryse gets it back. You may quote me.

With Gail Kim winning against Jillian Hall, and Gail’s second appearance this coming Thursday on SuperStars(with a tag team win), and her winning the latest WWE Poll as to who will be overall champ, and her commentary on Monday night’s WWE Live Chat … I would think that Ms. Kim is well on her way to that championship and being the only three belt professional woman wrestler (WWE Women’s champ, TNA Knockouts Champ, WWE Diva champ) in a very long time. And it is about time too. :)

I personally think its a joke someone like Eve winning a match against Katie Lea. Yes, Eve improved a lot, but lets face it, Katie Lea as been working for a long time and has more talent than some of these girls. I actually think, that the only wrestler better than Katie in this tournament is Gail, because the others are not so great (yet). Maryse is possibly the most overrated female wrestler in a while…her matches, most of the times are just kicks, hair flipping, kicks, hair flipping, finishing move (even though I like her personality and mic skills). Alicia is also good, but not as good as Katie. So is Jillian. But whatever. I’m used to being disappointed with WWE.
I hope Gail wins, because she really is the best girl in the tournament. Maryse was a long time out and is totally unfair she wins the title back so fast, especially when she’s not that good as a wrestler. If it isn’t Gail, then Alicia Fox. She worked a lot last year and improved so much, that she deserved the title more than Maryse. And its also a way that the Champion isn’t always the same person.
Save Michelle/Beth/Mickie for WrestleMania, seriously.
And as much as I want Alicia Fox to win this, I know Maryse will, which I really don’t mind. She’s the most entertaining out of the four girls, Gail is good in the ring, but her character is just bland.
Say what you want, but it’s called Sports Entertainment. Being the best wrestler has nothing to do with it.
Yes personality is important, but its good to have both skills. Lita had it. Trish had it. And its really easy to resolve this problem: acting classes for the less skilled actors and more training to the not so good wrestlers.
I really think they should apply some money to improve the less skilled entertainers, but i believe that people who watch WWE are just expecting great matches (except for the kids who are happy with just he Mysterio, Cena and DX merchandise) and that wrestling should ALWAYS be most important. Who cares if you have a great charisma when you suck at the ring? Yes, charisma is good for the marketing, but the wrestling is what brings prestige to a company. Look at Maria…she has great popularity, the guys love her, but she is considered a joke by people who actually aprecciate the wrestling.

I think the simple reason why Maryse was on commentary for that match and Gail wasn’t with the other is because Maryse is funny and entertaining and could make it work while Gail is bland and boring and wouldn’t have added anything. I love Gail, but it’s true.
Even a blind man can see that this will be a Maryse-Gail final. Not that I’m complaining, that was my hope from the start anyway. I think Gail will get her title run sometime this year, but this tournament belongs to Maryse.

this is the first time in about 4months when i didnt no who would win the match between kelly and alicia….i think it will be a royal rumble match because if a match happens once a week in two weeks time its royal rumble???because if it wasnt royal rumble then why would they have gails match on superstars instead of raw??? Wait a second…so you are saying that Gail doesn’t deserve the belt because the WWE writers didn’t let her win a singles match in 9 months? Now that’s just a bunch of BS. SHE deserves it because she’s a veteren and deserves some success in WWE. It’s not like WWE fans look back at Gail’s career in the WWE and say “hmmm I wonder why she’s getting the title, because her win/loss ratio this last year wasn’t that good”.
I wouldn’t mind kelly getting the title either, but apparently that’s not what WWE wants right now…so what are you gonna do?
Personally i believe Katie Lea should have gotten the win over Eve. She was dominating the match and then she is beaten by a weak looking roll up? All i got to say is that Gail better win the tournement. I love Maryse but she is not ready for another title run so soon after a return she looks to have alot of ring rust left.
Umm bortman, I dunno what match you were watching but Eve ws doing just fine, she probably if anything needs to speed up a little more but one thing don’t let MARYSE get back on the mic to bury matches EVER again, that’s all
