The first FCW Diva match of 2010 has found it’s way onto Youtube. This match features rookie sensation AJ Lee teaming up with Courtney Taylor to take on the team of ECW Diva Rosa Mendes and the debuting Naomi Night. Check out the action below:

I have to admit when I saw this match on paper I cringed. Rosa Mendes, who hasn’t exactly had the best showings between the ropes, teamed up with Naomi Night, who has only been training for four months?! A train wreck just waiting to happen, right?
To my surprise, these ladies put on a decent match. Rosa’s exile to ECW seems to have done her good, as her ring skills are a lot more polished here than they have been in her last few matches. She still no Molly Holly, but she managed to get through the match with no noticeable botches, which is always a good thing.
As always, AJ Lee put on a great show, but it was Courtney and Naomi that really caught my eye in this match. Courtney hasn’t had very much time in the ring as of late, but she managed to do pretty well. Her kick at the end was a little sketchy and her finisher needs a complete overhaul, but aside from that, a solid outing from Taylor. Naomi came out of the gate showing some sass in her ring entrance and exhibiting a grasp of the fundamentals. She didn’t get much offense in, but perhaps that’s for the best. A sure shot way to botch up your match is trying to do too much before you’re ready. By no means in she ready for the main roster, but at this rate she could be a solid competitor before too long.

I love Courtney Taylor, this was a good FCW DIva match all the divas were impressive even Naomi i like her she is differnt
However, i cant wait for Jemma and Sarona to debut, i hope Sarona debuts soon.
i liked this match i thought courtney did good and she could be a top face on smackdown with mickie and maria. i like her finisher and her kick couldve been good if it connected. everyone did good and im proud of my roro. she looked so hot in that purple! naomi has to lose those braids but maybe theyre apart of her gimmick? aj ws good as usual. stars of the match for me were rosa and courtney.
All four looked good out there.
I think Rosa just always needed the right opponent. Mickie James was not it, and they should have learnt that quickly (although unfortunately for Rosa she only got matches with Mickie when Mickie was at her least enthusiastic).
Courtney Taylor was decent, I could see her on the main roster (although she’d be down at the bottom of the totem pole).
AJ Lee is making leaps and bounds down in FCW. I don’t think she’ll be down there long (I’d still like to see my Melina’s sibling idea played out).
Suprise of the match was Naomi Knight. That’s probably the best rookie match I’ve seen from an FCW diva. They played it safe (one too many arm drags, and she didn’t get much offense) but she still did everything that was asked and did it well. If I didn’t know any of these girls I probably wouldn’t have guessed she was the least experienced.

Im so proud of these divas. They all did good and im happy that i saw the hoedown again! Courtney is sure better than kelly kelly!

that kick by Courtney looked great too bad it didnt connect i’d rather see that as her finishing move than the move she did in this match

Courtney did a lot better than she did in her horribe match with AJ.It’s funny how they faced off against eachother and now they’re BFF’s.*Rolls eyes*Her finisher could be a lot more impactful if polished.

Naomi was so much better than she was in that earlier video when she went up against AJ.She was flailing all over the place,but not tonight.

Overall,goood match.I think the trainers made them polish their in-ring work more which thus made for a good match.
how long have rosa been wrestling compared to this two new girls? man she still stink, she pause everytime she does a move then take a cover.. naomi actually looks bit believable compared to rosa and that her first time wrestling infront of the camera?… jebbuzchrayst. courtney taylor is really progressing very fast, give her 2more years, she’ll be the same level as alicia fox if she continues what shes doing.
AJ Lee + Gail kim.. if only theres a wwe woman tag title. i think they are perfect tag team, like saritataylor.
ps. naomi attire looks abit Hoe-ish(cant think of other word blah..) and that snaps she did on her entrance made me chuckle .. lol.
Naomi’s look reminds me of the look Jacqueline had when she was in Pretty Mean Sisters in the late 90′s after Come Get Some: The Women of the WWE came out and she started wearing long braided hair
I thought the match was pretty good. The more I see AJ Lee the more I like her. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her on the main roster sometime in the near future. I like Courtney’s finisher. Rosa actually looked pretty good as well. Naomi shows some promise that she can improve in the future. All in all I think it was a solid match.
wow rosas looking good selling moves and even dishin out some good moves herself a little more training and we can send her back over to raw. naomi night was good for only 4 months of training good match.

i have a feeling naomi night will become something quite special with a bit of time; this is her first real match and she did great. courtney was passable, but she did nothing special and showed no improvement from the last match of hers i saw. rosa did well, as did aj, but i still don’t get the huge deal behind aj lee.
Well as usual AJ ‘Pocket Rocket’ Lee managed to impress me, and she is no doubt ready to be called up, its just WHEN wwe have something for her :)
ROSA MENDES! Wow, i havent seen her that good in the ring for a LONG time, like you said there was no noticable botches, and no doubt have ecw allowed her to train more and it paid off, also in the match i decided i do like her outfit in purple but when i say it in yellow i hated it, Rosa is one fierce diva (no Alicia Fierce, but still pretty fierce) Im liking Rosa so much more now. Before she appeared on Raw i love her, then due to her botchy/lazy/cant be bothered attitude i decided that i didnt like her as much as before but now Rosa seems to be improving in not only the ring but also her look and her attitude to the buisness itself.
Courtney Taylor is no doubt a beautiful diva and is an amazing athlete, she showed a GREAT showing in the ring and displayed some nice move. I think wwe want to call Courtney up again but they just have no clue how to do it, for example she was involved in the silly Tiger stint but it was a one off showing, so hopefully wwe find a way for this because Courtney is something special
Naomi Night is ALOT better than i thought she was going to be and though she isn’t amazing because she has only had 4 months training you can see the aggression and power is there behind her moves, but with some more training i can see Naomi becomming very good in the ring, but first i beg her to get rid of the trainers and find some wrestling boots, so it will become more comfortable for Naomi in the ring :)

Naomi didn’t really impress me, she didn’t really do much but at least she didn’t botch
i really like April her move set is great and shes so speedy in the ring
People tend to judge Rosa for what they see in the WWE, where she is used mostly as a jobber and is always made to look weak against the other divas in 1 or 2 minute matches.
How did Courtney’s match with AJ suck? Courtney shown a lot of promise in that match, displaying new moves. Character-wise, I see this as a step backwards for her, I preferred her as a heel and now for little reason she is tagging with her opponent. I never liked the Hoe-Down (her finisher) I thought she’d ditch it for the Chokehold STO, but its nice to see her win a match, even though she does seem to be transforming into a generic face.
AJ was good as usual, was surprised she didn’t get the pin with her feud going on with Mia. However where’s Mia been to? I’d have thought she’d make herself present in the match one way or another. Rosa always seems to look better in FCW than in WWE, but its good to see her lead her team there and actually look good doing it, a lot of people criticise her for being a pretty face and not much else, but out of Diva Search Rosa had always said she wanted to enter wrestling to wrestle and was a tomboy beforehand, I think WWE notices this with her.
There’s something a bit Sojourner Bolt about Naomi, her feist and sass, its also a bit like Alicia. I was worried at first when she was doing a segment, they’d make her some over Christian peacemaker, but thankfully they’ve gone with the original plan. I think she’s got a real good look, but I agree she could lose the braids, however as far as wrestling goes she shows promise and I think that shows in the fact this is her first match after only a few months there. Sure, she didn’t get offense, but she’s a newcomer, if she came in all guns blazing it’d just look all a bit Maryse.
Rumors say AJ and Serena will move to the main roster after Wrestlemania (probably during the supplemental draft). Thats probably also the period we will see Brian Danielson and Kaval debut. Naturally its just some rumor from some shady forum, but it does make sense because the period after Wrestlemania is always the time to debut new wrestlers. And i dont really see a reason to keep AJ/Serena longer in FCW, they are already better than half the current diva roster.
That is the weirdest finisher I’ve ever seen… but I thought it was cool, in a strange way…
That’s better than some of the tag matches we get on Raw, and I thought all 4 divas had good outings. I get definite Kelly-vibes from Courtney – in a good way – and I get Gail-vibes from AJ. Rosa has definitely improved, and considering it was her first match, Naomi didn’t do too bad. On the other hand, I wasn’t feeling her look, but that can be changed.
I was surprised at how much I actually enjoyed that match. I thought it was quite good especially for a load of rookies. Wow Rosa did great here, the best I have seen her wrestle I think ever. I was quite impressed with Naomi she’s pretty decent. I really like AJ Lee, I think she has what it takes to maybe be called up soon.
OMG theres my future wife AJ lee, she is so HOT it’s not even funny, once she hits the main roster, she’ll tie Jillian and Gail as my favs

AJ and Serena might make it up to the main roster in 2 more years. They haven’t been in FCW for a long time at all.

Isn’t the most original of ideas seeing as in her initial days in FCW she was playing Rosa Mendes’ sibling in a blink and you’ll miss it feud that was shortly dropped and beforehand there was Saylor James who was going to play the role of Mickie James’ sister. However since when are WWE original these days? Mind you, the fans would find it too difficult to work out the difference if there were more than one sister combo in the WWE. People still have a hard time working out the Bellas.
As for AJ and Serena making it to main roster, I’d send both to SD or ECW given the chance to add to or create the Diva Division there. I think you have to stay for at least two years in FCW anyway before graduating, but it doesnt mean they can’t be called up temporarily, like they did with Alicia, Savannah, Tiffany and Rosa.

What the fuck is wrong with them?! Tracy McCray looked like a classy young black woman, but when she comes to the WWE, they portray her as the GHETTO BLACK BITCH. Long ghetto ass individuals, z-snapping and shit. That’s not right at all. She appeared to have recent in-ring skills, but that character could kill it all. She looked so stank.
