Things are looking big for Maria in 2010 aren’t they? Major show on a major network, check. Her own album, check. Red carpet appearances, check. Work done to her face? Questionable.
Last week, Ms Kanellis attended the official BCS championship party [yeah, I don't want that is either] in what I’m assuming is one of her own designs. And you know what? I think it’s super cute! The hair net however, I think cheapens what could have been a cute, sassy look and I guess by now we should get over the hand glove but I just can’t. Check out the pics below:
And on Sunday night, Maria attended the embattled NBC’s [TEAM CONAN BABY!!!] cocktail party in California as part of the network’s TCA presentation.

I don’t want to start a thing but does anyone else feel Maria’s face looks a little different? Has all this newfound Hollywood attention pressured her into the B-word? Or is it just make-up?

I actually agree with you Melanie. Her cheeks look more fulled. Besides I think she’s starting to lose some of her natural beauty. I don’t know why, but she looks older lately. Maybe its time to a hair make over, or whatever. She’s still beautiful, anyways.
Actually, the first thought I had when I saw those pictures at the top was that something looked different about her face. I just can’t quite put my finger on what it is.
The BCS Championship party is celebrating the winner of the College Football National Championship. Dunno why Maria went there, unless she’s a big fan of Alabama..
BCS = Bowl Championship Series. It’s for college football in the states. There are several bowl games but only one for the national championship.

definitely looks like she’s had some botox. no wrinkles on her forehead and she has that permanent expression in most of the pictures in the second set.
this whole article actually reminds me of the recent victoria beckham’s magical shapeshifting boobs. if a couple of clever bras could do that, perhaps it just is make up for maria?
if she has had any surgery, major or just botox, i feel kinda sorry for her. she’s still pretty young and pretty, too! although putting some more thought into it, she doesn’t have impants, does she? you’d think that’d be the first choice surgery wise for a wwe diva, so maybe she’s not had any work done afterall.
See, the first thing I thought when I saw that was ‘DAMN those are some craaaazy eyes’. Too much eyeliner, and she must have gone through a full tube of mascara. On a plus, the outfit is quite cute :)
It’s very rare indeed for anyone to get something done to their face and it actually turn out to look really nice/beautiful in a natural way (I would think the point is for it to not look fake though more often than not it does); what’s more, I think plastic surgery for some is like getting a tattoo: oftentimes you don’t stop at one thing. Breast implants (breast lifts are understandable), too, I’ve not liked, not so much for a feminist thing, but because it looks so hard, fake and ridiculous. To me. :P The outfits are “Maria” (an adjective I will now use) but not too bad.
did she design those dresses herself? they’re actually not bad! normally her clothes and her ring attire make me wanna vomit!
Kalendrina: Maybe she doesn’t have implants because she doesn’t need them. Lets face it: most sports women lose her breast sizes because of the exercises they do every single day. Maria, only wrestles occasionally and not for big periods of time. If you look closely to tons and tons of female athletes, they have very small breasts (except those with implants). However in most sports, having implants is a bad decision, but some of them (like Divas and Knockouts) do it anyways, to look more feminine, even though its dangerous. For instance, Gail Kim has implants and once she ruptured one.
Unfortunately Melanie’s right about work on her face; something’s definately been done to her eyes. She has that permanent “shocked” expression, her eyes/the shape of her eyes in general look different than usual and she’s wearing noticably more make-up around her eyes (which is visible thanks to the close-up pics) and not in a stylish way; it seems she’s hiding some marks on her face.
It’s not a huge difference but there’s definately something been done there.
I hope Maria did this just because she wanted to, and not because she felt she needed to. She’s been proud of the fact she hasn’t had breast implants in the past, so in a way it’s a bit sad to see her have work done on her face.
And plus, she doesn’t even look bad! She looks less like her usual self but she still looks good. It’s a bit of a shame that some women’s work gets pointed out (like Maria and Candice-both who still look gorgeous) and everyone’s kind of brushed under the carpet all the work Torrie Wilson and Tara have done to their faces (I love Tara, but she didn’t need to do what she has done to her face and shouldn’t have).
She looks the same to me.
