As has been well documented by all the posts this week, Kelly Kelly and Maria were over in the UK to promote the Rumble yadda yadda… Anyway, the duo recorded an interview for BBC Radio 1Xtra which aired yesterday.
Among the topics discussed, the hosts Ace and Vis probe the Divas about Melina’s injury. The then-Divas Champion tore her ACL at a house show in December.
Kelly says: “I tagged out and she told me on the site, she goes ‘My knee hurts and I don’t know why’.” Kelly explains that she asked Melina if she was okay to tag in to which Melina replied that she’d be fine.
“So she gets in there and she throws a clothesline and she turns, and it gives out… her knee just gives out and she just went down,” Kelly continues. “We didn’t understand really what happened.”
The Divas also discuss Kelly’s love for dirty rap music, relationships between the Divas and Superstars and more.

Fun listen. I love hearing what they’re like outside of the ring. I’m quite fond of both of them, they seem to show lots of personality and are just fun and down to earth girls.
