Welcome to the new look Diva Dirt! After over a year of the same look, it was time to change it up and become even fiercer! A big thank you to Jason Deadrich for his help too.
With a new design, and a new team member, Diva Dirt has so much to look forward to this year. We have a lot of exciting new things coming up in 2010 so get sit tightly!
A few notes on the new design:
* As it’s a new design, there may be kinks here and there. Let us know if you notice any via e-mail.
* We’ve introduced a new audio player plugin as the old one isn’t compatible with our new design. We’ve gone through the archives of most of our current audio shows [see above] and changed the player to the new one so you can continue to stream them. Older audio [i.e. the Roundtable] will likely no longer be streamable but is still available via download, for which links can be found in the post and via iTunes.

I love the new design, the logo looks more professional plus the background is more stylish and subtle. A nice new look for the new year.

Fancy new look. It’ll take a little time to get used to – as I’m so accustomed to the old one – but I like it ;)

Congrats to the new member – Cryssi i think it was – She seems very intelligent and im glad shes been watching for awhile rather than having a new member who has watched since 2006 lol :)
it’ll take some getting used to, but i like it. looks more sleek, professional even. i know you don’t like being referred to as a news site, but you’ve definitely got the edge on them ;)
one minor kink, on the right hand side, some of the topics in the “categories” and “archives” sections don’t align properly, but that could just be my browser?

when i heard there was a new layout I never thought it would look as great as this!
heres my thought.
-the black background with white font hurts my eyes. it gives me eye strain after reading an article for few minutes.
- the multicolor at the top didnt really made sense to me atleast, i would be a lot better if various female wrestlers were the focus on the layout. much like the female silhouette on your logo. that would be cool.
just my 2cent.

this is one awesome redesign.
I agree with Bortman. The white font hurts me eyes and I would’ve rather had some Divas and Knockouts on the side and top, just so it looks like a women’s wrestling page. Overall, it’s gonna take some time getting used to.

you know ive been reading this site for a year and visit every day but theres a reason i rarely ever comment and its because of people like rkoyou and reystyle 94. they have a complaint about the site / staff? shocking. 90% of the time i read the comments there is a complaint from the 2 of you. but you’re happy to come here and stink up the joint with your attitude like you’re owed something.
im sorry to the team who have to deal with losers like you. this is why i rarely comment here and why i wont be commenting again. so many immature brats like rkoyou and negative nancys like reystyle ruining it for everyone and acting like they are paying customers rofl to be giving other people shit. im sorry team to rain on your parade, i love your work and site but i wont be commenting anymore.

At first I was like,”Meh”,because I’m more of a morning,bright,fun colors type person,so this new dark look was a little new.but now I visit the site just to look at the layout!

It’s a new design, we’ve had the same look for what, 16 months? Obviously it’s going to take adjusting to but I hope that everyone will eventually. We love it and we’re very proud of it.

WTF is your problem rosarocks? Melanie said if there are some things you reckon should be changed then notify us, and that’s what I did. I gave my 2 cents, whether they agree to change it is up to them. I like this layout, but there are obviously going to be some bugs and I decided I would help them clean it up by giving them a few pointers. So I’m glad you won’t be commenting often, because you’re smarter when you don’t.

For whatever reason,I can add an avatar now. Which I wasn’t successful at doing before. That alone makes it nicer,for me. Thanks for all your efforts.
Just one more thing I would like to see happen, can you put the comments on the top, where the article name is, instead of the bottom? I just feel that it fits better, and that when I scroll, I see if any new comments have been made on the article, so it should be on the top.

@rosarocks (if you read this) – You’re not the only one that’s noticed that…:) I actually have had the same thought (to just not bother), but at the same time, I don’t come here for negative people. I really like to know what other fans think/have to say, and when they’re objective, even if they disagree with my view its l cool with me so long as they respect mine. It really does ruin things for other people. What kills me is the obliviousness. :) Hope you join us again!
Anyway the site looks REALLY really great; I love the darker look. I love grey and black and pink!

in all honesty, i don’t like it. i think it LOOKS great, but is less “user friendly” than the previous version. the text is a little harder to see and read and it’s just messier and less “clean”
