Fresh from crowning a new Women’s Champion, WWE will crown a new Divas Champion tonight as Gail Kim and Maryse compete in the finals of the Divas Championship tournament tonight on Raw.
The Divas Title was vacated one month ago when former champion, Melina suffered an injury at a house show.

Lets hope somewhat they change the obvious…even though Im pessimistic about this
lol at how the SD divas get a ppv match (with a promo tbh) and the raw divas have to have a match at raw XD
well its obviously going to be maryse since piggie just won the title. they wont have to face womens champions.
Since mickie won the womens title, It’s very OBVIOUS NOW maryse will take that title, they don’t have 2 babyface female champions
Part of me was hoping Michelle would retain last night so Gail took take the divas title because we’ve already seen Mickie as champion enough so yeah, I was kinda upset last night
well it’s obvious maryse will win now which sucks coz gail deserves it more :(

Weird ‘eh. After all the genuine build up to the Women’s Title match, we now find ourselves looking to Raw and the Divas title for an actual genuine match. It might not be a classic, but if it lasts longer than 20 seconds, then it’s a step up from last night’s complete waste of time.

I love Maryse, but I am pulling for Gail tonight who really deserves it. It seems painfully obvious this tournament was just designed to push Maryse but I hope we are thrown a curve-ball tonight on Raw!
Plz gail, make maryse get a taste of defeat with the eat defeat, then we will all eat happiness and you will get your well deserved title reign and become first women in history to hold womens/divas/knockouts title, but knowing wwe, maryse will 100% win, but i hope im wrong…

Gail has always managed to make Mayse look good in the ring..when she did while they where both on smackdown.
So i think this match should be pretty decent. Heres hoping for a gail win.
Hopefully their match is at least 5 minutes, yet I’m not counting on it being good. Let’s hope Gail wins. Come on Gail!
I’m hoping for a decent match, but with the way Raw’s been booking it’s divas, I’m not getting my hopes up. Although it’s OBVIOUSLY going to be Maryse that wins, I’m still routing for Gail deep down.
Although I am praying for a Gail Kim win I rather doubt it. I do expect after her blowup last Monday on Raw for Alicia Fox to interfere with tonights match costing Gail the championship which will set up a Gail/Alicia feud moving forward, and might have Maryse trying to figure out if Alicia is really her ally after all … or after the belt herself.
That should make lively viewing moving toward Wrestlemania and beyond.

Michelle finally loses the title and Maryse regaining hers all within a 24 hour period? I can’t ask the wrestling Gods for much more than that!
In the unlikely event that Gail wins, I wouldn’t mind that either, but Maryse is the main reason I watch Raw, champion or not.
We will probably get a quick 2 minute match, take a look at whats on todays raw:
- Possible heel-turn of Sean Michaels with a DX breakup
- Breakup of Legacy
- Edge (even though he is on the Smackdown brand)
- MVP/Miz
So expect a lot of talking on the show, with few minutes for the divas left.
^^^ And on top of all that, the return of Bret Hart as well lol, which will probably take up a lot of time.
Maybe that can work in their favor though and the crowd will be hot all night, including for the Divas, simply because there’s so much stuff going on, depends what city they’re in.

Yawn… I have no expectations for this match up whatsoever. I feel for Gail though, (sigh) what a waste. Congrats to Maryse! Can’t say say she deserves it. But congrats none the less.

For the people saying the RAW Divas are second rate for not getting the SmackDown! Diva’s spot at the Royal Rumble, did you not watch that joke of a match? Hopefully tonight Maryse and Gail will be given a decent amount of time without pastry being involved.

please people, THIS IS WWE we’re talking about everything is predictable. They’re not pushing Alicia, she was only given that segment last week because she was the only black diva on Raw and guest host was black, thats why
Gails first win was on WWE superstars(the D show),then she got no entrance for her match against Alicia, and then after she beat Alicia she gets 5 second to celebrate until they go to the next segment
Marsye on the other hand has had the spotlight all over her every week. i would LOVE FOR GAIL TO TAKE THAT DIVAS TITLES but theres no signs of it happening
At this point I’m beyond who wins the title. I’m rooting for Gail and I do see her winning, but at this point, for women’s wrestling, I’d rather see a good match than my favourite winning out. I can support whatever outcome.

It is now or never for Gail. We all know that if Melina wasn’t injured she would never be in this finale (naturally there wouldnt even be a tournament). So this will be Gail’s only chance. If Maryse wins and hold it for a few months, then Melina will be back and Gail can return to the role of “the asian girl that is friends with Melina and Kelly”.
