While WWE maybe offering for money, Gail has been basically squashed in her WWE return she’s even lost to kelly kelly. Gail may be in the divas championship finals but we all know she won’t win the title and she’s only in the finals because they want a good worker to carry Maryse through the match

Kong may not be getting the money she wants but TNA has pushed her so much over her career and kong should be thankiful for that because many girls would kill for kongs spot

I agree that TNA IS DEAD WRONG for paying ex-WWE talents more but some people should be thankiful they’re even being paid at all. You should be in wrestling because you love to wrestler but i guess I shouldn’t be talking since i don’t know anything about paying bills and budgeting

Well, in TNA’s defense: there is a valid reason why (some) male performers make a lot more money. The Knockouts are good for the ratings on FREE tv, but they dont draw buyrates for the ppvs (nobody buys a ppv just for a 3 minute knockout match), and knockouts dont sell merchandise either. So its somewhat understandable that the male stars make more money. But i do believe that a knockout SHOULD get the same amount of money as the male midcarders and the X-Division stars.

Yeah Knockouts should be getting paid the amount close to the make superstars,,,since they draw the highest ratings…

I read that when Gail Kim left TNA, WWE was offering her 3 times what she’d be earning in TNA. If that is the case I guess months of not doing anything in WWE on her return (though she’s in that tournament final now) isn’t so bad if she’s being paid well!

Can wrestlers form unions about these type of things?

Maria was pretty low paid in her early days with WWE though it might have gone up now. And as a counter argument, no one apart from the big stars in WWE get much in terms of perks. Cena, Mysterio and a few others who are big merchandise shifters have pretty sweet contracts. They’re set for life. Most of the undercard, though they are making more than on the indies, have to keep their money in check. There’s no health insurance or pension schemes for them.

As far as the Divas go I’m not sure how many right now are on big contracts, if any. In an interview, Torrie Wilson said that Trish Stratus and Lita got all their travel and hotel expenses paid for.

Why does Christy Hemme get the most out of all the knockouts, just because she was in the WWE.

I researched TNA salaries, and the girls payment was between 50.000 and 100.000. At that time, the less paid (50.000) were girls such as Alissa Flash, Velvet Sky. But even the must paid (such as Kong) received only 100.000.

However, guys like Tomko, earn 300.000. Kurt earns 600.000 and apparently Jarret is the most well payed, earning 750.000, but since is one of the founders, its understandable.

It looks like Kong will only stay if she ets more money,which i highly doubt she will get. If she does get a raise then im pretty sure the othe knockouts will be expecting one as well.

I personally think that the women shoud get paid just as much as the men and seeing as the knockouts get the best ratings,i dont understand why Tna are treating them so rubbish. Surly it’s common sence to keep the wrestlers who people are wanting to see happy?

But the Knockouts must be very badly paid. Because everybody knows that WWE pays well less to the women, then the man, and the salary depends on popularity. I believe that Trish used to earn about 600.000 dollars in a year, but a lot of divas stay around the 100.000/200.000 dollars a year. Which means that the knockouts salary may be inferior to that.
