This almost seems like something that could have taken place weeks ago, with Beth still not showing any allegiances. Are they pushing a 3-way feud or just Mickie vs. Beth?

This show obviously marks Beth’s desire for the title. But at the same time, I don’t really see Michelle being distanced from the title right away either. So 3 way? I’m not sure.
I wish they would give Natalya a shot at the title
At first this fued was cute BUT now its just plain ol confusing???
They keep pushin Beth as the dominant diva.
But we get that, already! yea we get it, she has big muscles and shoves giants out of the ring.
mickie rolled layla up btw and their little promom was really nice. beth got a nice little pop vickie got a huge mixed reaction! and laycool nothing! except chants from me lol
I think WWE doesn’t know what to do with the fued anymore. One week, Beth is involved, and other weeks, it’s all about Mickie and Michelle? It doesn’t make sence. Hopefully this can be the start of the 3-way feud, leading into WrestleMania! :)
I wish Michelle will drop Layla; she can show us something different, she’s talented
Michelle needs Layla, but only in promos. When they cut promos together Michelle is able to hide her lackluster mic skills because Layla is a natural. As far as wrestling goes, yeah, McCool is strong enough to be a loner. But I do like the Layla dynamic in matches and it’s cool to have some more Diva stables/teams besides the Bella Twins. Plus, Layla has been able to shine a lot more, getting to play with the “big girls”.
I guess my biggest question is how much did Michelle wrestle? Considering she’s done few matches recently with Layla doing the bulk of the wrestling and the 20-second Rumble match, is she still injured? If so, a 3-way feud might be held off for a while and that’s why Mickie got the belt.
scottL michelle pretty much wrestled the whole match! beth kinda squashed her though. laycool also came out with matching simply flawless hoodies and and nice little entrance
Another Promo, wow i am starting to like smackdown, reminds me of the old days, but i wish they would hurry it up a little and stop being so confusing

OMG i thought this thing had ENDED. It sounds boring. Another tag team match…blah blah blah. Sensing, however, that mickie’s reign might be to short. However if she loses it, I hope is for Beth.
What is really annoying me, is that they could use Natalya so much better. But Im still hoping for a Nattie vs Serena.

I dunno. Everyone trashes Raw Divas in favor of the SD Divas. They cite booking and stuff..
But really, I think Raw has the most potential. They have a lead heel with charisma that can carry her. They have a lead face with wrestling skills (though very botchy on the live shows). And they have a supporting cast that would make them seem important enough. We get that all the faces have a problem with the lead heel. We get that all the heels just want to beat up on the faces.
What does SD have? The definition of overpushed and her buried lackey, a very bland and mediocre lead babyface, and some chick who is suppose to be big and scary but really only smiles and lifts her arms up to show it. The other chicks on SD are doing busy trying to get their men over.
As far as this goes.. Sounds boring. They did a whole month of Mickie gets laid out by Beth and/or Michelle while Layla takes the pinfall cuz Michelle is too damn holier than thou to get pinned on SD. That is why SD fails. Same stuff with the same people that proven that they are incapable of getting a crowd reaction outside of the initial “It’s Mickie!” when she comes out.

ebmich- I agree Raw divas are so much. I’ve loved this divas championship tournment it’s been so entertaining and even though we all know maryse will win the title, it was nice seeing Gail get a small push into the finals. Raw divas are just more entertaining, they’re young and hungrey and just more talented

This’ll probably sound rude so I’ll apologize in advance, but I still I can’t figure the bestowal of charisma on certain “wrestlers” (though, admittedly, this is subjective). I watch more RAW than Smackdown (and like Divas on either show) but there is no doubt in my mind that Smackdown Divas have the better deal. A full storyline with promos instead of you-have-the-title-and-I-want it with confusing, short, or scary promos by the supposed commander of all this “charisma” that I’m somehow unable to perceive. :/ I gotta say I am not seeing it; at least not clearly. That aside, it’d be nice to see them move on from this, and I still don’t see Beth as integral to this feud; she should have her own feud going on, imo.
I was actually there, and it was a really good show from top to bottom, including the Divas moment. I know this was put into more detail earlier, but I’ll add this:
Mickie came out to a pretty good pop. She thanked the fans, and said “We did it” and things about being real. Beth came out to a decent pop as well. They exchanged words about facing each other for the Women’s title, anytime, anywhere. Then Vickie came out saying Excuse me, and I swear to God, they booed the sh*t out of her! I’ve never seen ANY female get that kind of heel heat before in my life! To be honest, the only people throughout the entire taping that were even close to heel heat were Chris Jericho and CM Punk, and that’s just by a strand of hair! Vickie was cutting a promo and making the match, but I couldn’t understand half of what she was saying. The booing was that loud and that intense. Oh yeah, the match was Mickie and Beth vs Michelle and Layla.
Michelle and Layla both came out with matching hoodies that said Piggie James. I think. They took them off near the entranceway.
Michelle and Beth started off, and Michelle was getting womanhandled by Beth for the most part, Beth tagged in Mickie and she worked on Michelle for a little while, and then Beth knocked Mickie out, Michelle was shocked and then smiled, and Beth did too (kinda in a somewhat lesbian way) before Beth planted Michelle as well. She walked off with Michelle crawling to Layla, going to try to take care of Mickie, but that didn’t work out as Mickie surprised Layla with a rollup for the win. Michelle was irate, and Beth and Mickie had a staredown from the ring and entrance way.
Maria has a small part on Smackdown wishing Matt Hardy good luck in his Elimination Chamber qualifying match, and Matt mentioned something about her Celebrity Apprentice gig.
Serena shows up THREE times on Smackdown. The first time is right before CM Punk’s EC qualifying match, where CM Punk says that Luke and Serena might have to make a sacrifice for the right cause, with Serena saying “I would do anything for you”. Some people in the audience saw it as something sexual for some reason (Southerns…HA! LOL.) Then Serena accompanied CM Punk (as well as Luke Gallows) for his “match” (There’s a reason I put the word “match” in parentheses. You’ll need to watch to find out.). Then she came out again (with CM Punk and Luke Gallows) during the final segment on Smackdown.
From someone who was there last night, I thought the Divas delivered. BTW, they look amazing live, all of them.

You aren’t the only one. In wrestling “charisma” means a wrestler’s ability to get a response from the crowd, through the use of communication, bodylanguage or looks.
Maryse and Kelly Kelly score good in the looks (and get somewhat of a crowd response with it). Alicia Fox scores good in bodylanguage (but gets no response from the crowd). And communication is hard to judge because the divas never get mic time on RAW. I’d say Maryse is the most charismatic diva on raw with a score of 6 (out of 10).
Lady Sheamus: I think it has something to do with presence. I’m not a big fan of hers (mostly due to her ring work) but whenever I see Maryse, I can’t take my eyes away from her and she is not that forgettable. She has presence and she reaches to the crowd almost the same way Lita does. TAKE DOWN THE PITCHFORKS PEOPLE. I’M NOT SAYING THAT MARYSE IS OF THE SAME LEVEL AS LITA. I am merely stating that she has something that cannot easily be taught. And whether we like it or not, for majority of the WWE fans (especially the group who only knows Evan Bourne as Evan Bourne and not Matt Sydal,) that actually goes a long long LONG way. An example: JOHN CENA. ;)

c-ray what seats did u have? that show was so awesome!!! my punk sign will be on tv a lot and we were calling serena when they were headed to the back after the undertaker attack she heard us but couldnt find us. did u take pics?
I had Floor seats, directly facing the titantron, just a few rows back from the announcers. I took some pics, but not as much as I would have liked. :( People didn’t know how to sit down at times. I swear, they’re more incompetent than WWE Creative. (OHHH SNAP!!) :)
I hope the Diva segment comes out decent on TV, because it was pretty darn good during the taping (crowd reactions and such)

lol me too i was on the floor by the ramp people were just in my way but im sending in some pics right now and yea the segment was great but the match was short. it served its purpose though! i was so happy with the serena love!!!
oh the ecw crowd reactions werent that great lol but i was happy to see rosa and zack! im excited to see my “save me punk” sign on tv though
@C-Ray – Thanks for the spoilers but heeeeey…what’s wrong with Southerners? :P I’m sure people would have said the same reaction almost anywhere given that phrase is too often used as sexual innuendo. I don’t know what the look on her face was but if it was in line with what she’s been giving CM Punk then I would’ve gotten that vibe, too. You did say Beth smiled at Michelle in a lesbian-ish way, so… lol
