Cyndi Lauper was a complete asshole when I saw her during the 1990′s when she was performing at a small place called The Chestnut Club, in West Philaelphia. (Guitarist was the gal who has been playing with Letterman’s band.) A fan was waiting forever for her with a bouquet of flowers outside. When she arrived before the concert, the young female fan tried to hand her the flowers, and Lauper looked at her with boredom and disgust. It was not crowded at all, and Cyndi came in slowly and leisurely. She had time to acknowledge this fan and did not. It was a bit of a turn-off. She could have at least just smiled at the fan.

That might be true but you got to remember they are the Osbournes of course she’s going to be nice to them the second she’s rude to them they’re probably one of the most famous families in the world they could make or break celebs if they really wanted too so that really proves nothing.

I really think this whole thing might be a ‘work’ for the upcoming ‘The Apprentice’. While filming the program, both Cyndi and Sharon Osbourne went on ‘The Howard Stern Show’ to do some promotion on it. Cyndi seemed to have nothing bad to say about Maria. She even called her ‘one of the most beautiful women in the world’. In the same interview Cyndi even started to tear up at the story of how deeply moved Sharon and her husband Ozzy were to watch their daughter dance on ‘Dancing With The Stars’. That doesn’t sound like a very mean person to me! Who knows…

Given Cyndi’s had past experience with WW(F)E, one might think she would be more inclined to be nice. Maybe it was in the context of the show; also, we don’t know the fullness of what happened.

Yeah, I wonder about Batista (and w/the women thing – looking for a new prospect, maybe :P). Probably that’s why they worked it into a storyline. Never forget the fans; they pay for all the bling the celebrities enjoy. At least Maria said it as civilly as she could.

Ive heard all about him and Rick Flair who I’m not sure mumbled:Stupid Son of a B**** when I met him and I didn’t say really anything I just told him my name after he asked and then I asked if I could take a picture with him which half the fans did the exact same thing.

The most snobby WWE guy (at least when they came here to Portugal) was Batista. I wasn’t there, but they show footage of the autograph session on TV and he looked rather bored, like he didn’t even wan’t to be there. I don’t know if he is like this in the USA, or if he was like that because Portugal is a small country, but it was a big slap in the face to some fans of him, that I know.

Most of the Divas were nice to the crowd, and people like Mysterio and Cena, who know how to work with the fans, were also great.
Its a fact that female wrestlers are more nice to the fans, you know. They aren’t arrogant and even if they don’t want to be there, they know how to don’t show that.

Maybe Maria is just bitter that Cyndi actually has talent. I would be “mean” too if I had to work with someone who dresses like a muppet in the red light district.

Maria is one of the NICEST PEOPLE YOU WILL EVER MEET, if she’s saying this it must be true. My cousin actually met Maria at a WWE autograph signing once and he said she was so sweet and nice that she let the handicaped children get their autographs first and she was taking like 50 pictures with them each

The problem with celebrities is that some of them start acting like their superior just because of their fame. However Cyndi probably wondered who the hell was Maria, so maybe that’s why she wasn’t so nice.

Anyways, this might be an tactic to promote the show. I just think that even if Cyndi was the baddest person she ever met, Maria shouldn’t say things like this. Its not wise. It might have bad consequences on her career, even though she has honest and I fancy people with guts to saying the truth.
