Welcome to FCW watch, where we take a look at our future Divas down in Florida Championship Wrestling. On the last edition of FCW Watch, we saw an impressive singles debut from former Orlando Magic dancer, Naomi Night. This week we get yet another debut from Abraham Washington’s better half, Liviana, as she teams up with Naomi Night to face AJ Lee and Raw Diva, Eve. Will Liviana impress us as much as her partner did in her match? Watch the match below and be the judge:
Naomi and Liviana make their way to the ring first, to the tune of a generic Gwen Stefani rip-off. Next out is future Queen of FCW candidate, AJ Lee who introduces her partner Eve.
Eve is set to start things off with Naomi, but Naomi wants a piece of AJ, perhaps to avenge her loss last week. The two lock up and show some of their basic wrestling skills until AJ gets the upper hand, laying Naomi out with a stiff dropkick. AJ Lee stays on the offense, throwing some forearms but Naomi takes control, tossing AJ into the middle rope.
Naomi uses her size advantage over AJ to choke her out using the ropes. When the referee reprimands her, Liviana takes the opportunity to inflict some more damage. Naomi goes for a pin, but only gets a one. Frustrated, Naomi pulls AJ over to her corner and tags in her partner, Liviana.
Right out the gate Liviana goes for the pin with a nicely executed schoolboy pin. Liviana grabs AJ by the hair and pulls her up, but AJ strikes back with a few strange looking forearms. AJ tries to whip Liviana towards the ropes, but Liviana reverses it and pulls AJ down by the hair. After a two count and a shortlived Camel Clutch, Liviana tags in Naomi. Naomi takes the fight to AJ, but misses a splash in the corner, giving AJ the opportunity to tag in her fresh partner, Eve.
Eve immediately goes on a Kelly Kelly-esque flurry, hitting a clothesline followed by a one-legged dropkick. Eve goes for the quick finish, hitting a senton, but the pin is broken up by Liviana. AJ tries to take out Liviana, but Liviana is one step ahead and tosses her out the ring. Eve rushes to her partner rescue, attempting a corkscrew kick. Unfortunately, she misses her mark but covers the botch well. Eve takes Liviana out and hits a picture perfect moonsault on Naomi for the win.
I have to admit, this match wasn’t nearly as good as last week. Although Naomi is really good for a beginner, she seems to have trouble with ring positioning, leading to some awkward spots. That said, she has good charisma and seems to mesh well with AJ Lee. Hopefully we’ll see some more work between these two in the future.
Speaking of AJ Lee, it’s been obvious these past few weeks that AJ is next in line for Mia Mancini’s crown. With Mia becoming an integal part CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society, I expect AJ to take the crown at their next meeting and have a lengthy fued with Naomi Night.
I never thought I’d see a match in which Eve was considered the veteran, but she definately had the egde when it came to experience in this match. Eve did well here, but as the more experienced competitor, I expected her to have a bigger role in the match. Her tendency to choose flash over substance also came back to bite her in the ass, when she missed that spin kick. At least it happened on FCW and not on live TV. That’d be embarrassing, huh? Which brings me to tonight’s debut, Liviana.
Like Eve, Liviana didn’t do much in this match, but managed to get through it with out any major botches. While not as impressive as Naomi, Liviana seems to have some potential and I’m interested to see how she develops from this point on.
All in all, not a bad match from our FCW divas this week, but definately not their best showing. However, with some more training, this new generation of Divas could be quite competent between the ropes. How did you guys like this week’s match? Leave your thought in the comments!

I agree diva – dirt FCW, does look like it has a pretty good womens divison, i have seen all of the FCW divas in the ring except Jemma Palmer and Aksana and Jillian,but from i hear Jemma has been trainging for almost 2-3 years so she is pretty good, and i saw a short clip of Aksana wrestling, and she looked alright for a green diva,
Plus FCW has 3 former indy divas ( Sarona, Aj, Jemma) and Naomi and Liviana look to be solid in the ring.
And as far as Jenny cash, she has been released from FCW so we dont have to worry about her, and her pic was removed from the website
It wasn’t so wise to team up to newbies against a not so good Diva. I believe the match would have been better if the tags were different.
However I like the potential Naomi has been showing and Liviana did well to. I hope AJ Lee moves to a main roster soon, btw.
I didn’t like this outing of FCW at all. The Liviana/Eve botches really put me off and there seemed to be some miscommunication between AJ and Naomi at some point. Oh and this wasn’t Liviana’s first match, she had a handicap match last year but I could see how you forgot it Steven since she didn’t do anything.

Naomi Night is obviously the next BIG HEEL of FCW now that serena has been moved to the main roster. This match showed that Naomi can really take hard moves which is always a good sign when improving, for being so inexperienced she’s learned so much in such a short time. Some people are just naturals I guess
Eve was just terrible, she was botching more than the development girls which is kinda ironic considering she’s supposed to be the veteran in the match

This weeks match was passable for green Divas.The miscommunication,though,was really annoying.
I liked how Livania’s moves flowed in the ring,and she didn’t look uncomfortable at all.
Naomi shows promise,but the girl’s gotta learn how to get comfortable in the ring.
Eve was disappointing.She was supposedly the veteran Diva,but everyone blew her out of the water.Her moonsault was finally hit well,though.It just looked gorgeous.
Oh,and LMAO at that guy who was booing Eve! XD
SOme of you were happy that jenny cash has been released! Im not really happy! I like that diva so much! her Cha-ching and she can really wrestle!
That was a decent little match up, it had a few issues but overall it was pretty good. AJ Lee, like always, stood out as the most competent, even with the “vet” Eve in there. Naomi definitely showed how green she was in a few spots that looked awkward, but overall she had another good showing, so much potential there. Liviana gave off some major Melina vibes, it’s crazy, they have similiar faces and the long dark hair and Liviana’s facial expressions sealed the deal. She didn’t do much but what she did do was nice and she too shows a lot of potential. It’s sad that the biggest downfall in the match was Eve herself, how embarassing. That missed kick was horrible and takes me back to when she missed that dropkick on Alicia, I can now blame it on Eve since I don’t think she got close enough to her opponents in both of these occasions. And that botch was not covered well at all, that was sloppy and terribly awkward.

Liviana was stinking at the end of the match. She didn’t have a clue. Eve was just ok, yet AJ and Naomi were good I thought. Overall, a bland episode unfortunetly. Liviana needs releasing, not Penny Cash!

Naomi is the most improved FCW Diva this is her 3 match and she just looks amazing..

Yeah in my opinion Naomi and A.J. stole the show in this match. Its sad that they come across better in the ring then Eve has sense she’s been on RAW. I don’t know what it is but man its like once you get to the main roster you loose that luster that put you in your prime when talent is in developmental. Seems to be the case with most girls, its almost like once the get to the big leagues they suffer from lack of training. While I want to believe that its do to the harsh schedule they have to endure, i can’t fully say that seeing as Alicia Fox has proven that theory wrong. Maybe its a matter of work ethic, what ever the reason it’s nice to see the developmental girls progressing. Still not a fan of miss Naomi’s nasty girl 90′s Janet braids though.
I can see why every last one of them are still in training, I wasn’t impressed to be honest.

Maybe she will follow as well. She has been in FCW for a year now, and hasnt really improved that much, she rarely even wrestles. And there was also some incident 6 months ago with a DUI and her mugshot leaking out on the net, and WWE usually doesnt like that. Even if she stays in FCW, i dont see her ever move to the main roster, unless she makes HUGE improvements in 2010.
Somebody can tell me if the FCW Divas will be on WWE NXT???

Like I said, Naomi seems to be so promising, however I have a feeling that she’ll end up as a valet or to Cryme Time or even R-Truth.
Well ha, nice to see that you Steve and others still get a kick out of something that was probably a humiliating moment for Eve (listening to previous pods). And boo to the guy who was booing her lmao. I do detest though, she was kinda sloppy this time. I like AJ Lee and Naomi, but yes shy does it seems that whenever a girl goes to RAW, she loses her luster, Eve should still be on Smackdown with the other more rounded Divas, as much as I like Gail, I don’t think she can help her learn by herself since at times she doesn’t look like herself out there (I don’t care what anyone syas that match with Alicia sucked) with less experienced divas nor Jillian. (Not even gonna bring Maryse into the equation)
Guys calm down so Eve missed a kick, Trish missed the chick kick loads of times so give Eve a break. Also Liviana did not sell it well or the forearms Eve delievered afterwards which didn’t help the situation.
Aj Lee continues to impress, she has such a unique style. The match was ok nothing overly great, liked Eve’s moonsault. I think Naomi is doing well considering she is still green.
Eve kinda embarrassed herself in this match, she was heavily outshined by all other Divas involved. Maybe Eve should go back to development and learn a thing or two from Ms Lee and Ms Night.
I don’t think I’ve seen a rookie Diva learn so quickly as Naomi Knight has been of late. Maybe more than Angela Fong when she started.
But AJ Lee NEEDS to be called up this year. The girl’s got SKILLS!!!!! She reminds me of a cross between Gail Kim and Taylor Wilde in-ring. She can only get better as she’s still young.
that chick should have jumped into eves kick she knew it was coming & thats how its meant to be….
