FCW Sets Sarona Snuka Debut

New developmental signee, Sarona Snuka — daughter of ‘Superfly’ Jimmy Snuka — will make her debut in FCW on March 19th.

Sarona has previously worked for WXW and was trained under Afa the Wild Samoan.

I’m kind of excited to see her debut, hopefully some of that talent rubbed off on her. Here’s hoping for another Nattie, or at least something pretty close.

fcw are lacking on the diva front, especially with aj seeming so close to being called up. i’m not expecting anything too great from sarona. i’m taking a guess at her being around lacey von erich’s range right now, if not maria but i’ll wait and see. unlike natty, this recent batch of generational women haven’t been wrestling since they were kids. it’s not so much in the blood as it is getting an early start.

Sarona already has 1 year of training by Afa, who is considered one of the best trainers. So she should already be miles ahead of Lacey (who never finished her basic training in FCW). A friend of mine saw Sarona wrestle against Rain in WXW and thought she did very well (for a rookie). Also dont forget that Sarona is actually build like a wrestler, she almost matches Beth Phoenix in Physique,

i her debut match she defeated Lace, with what is said to be a devastating Rock Bottom Sitout Powerbomb. so that sounds pretty cool.

Here is a match review of Sarona’s

3. Sarona Snuka defeated Kimberly and Lace in a 3 way dance (first pinfall wins). I wasn’t sure what to suspect here as Sarona has only had like two matches in public before, Lace hasn’t wrestled much more than that, and I’m more familiar with Kimberly as “Temptress” Kimberly and as a valet rather than a wrestler. But, the match was short and entertaining, and I can’t really carp about anything from any of the wrestlers. Nothing really looked bad from where I was sitting… and I’m talking about the wrestling here. All three were randomly going at it. There was even the good old “two people do a superplex but the third one powerbombs them both” spot. Sarona was the one who did the powerbomb, as you might expect as she has a larger frame than the other two ladies. I thought that Kimberly landed right on her head but she appeared to be fine so I’ll say that I was mistaken; I mean, I’m sure that there are quite a few of the low-level wrestlers in this state who’d try to do the same thing and it’d be totally botched beyond belief, so I’m glad it came off with little problem here. The ending was Lace and Kimberly deciding to double-team Snuka to take her out. Makes sense. Kim turned her back on Lace and as you might suspect, Lace rolled her up. However, Sarona tossed Lace to the outside and she got the win with a powerbomb variation.

Given her size, there’s no doubt that she will be a heel. Now that Serena has moved to the main roster, and with AJ Lee recently winning the Queen of FCW, the latter now needs a new rival. And who better? She’s a rookie, but her size and (presumed) power will look good against an athletic babyface like AJ.

That comment wasn’t at all aimed towards LVE lol!

Anyway, I see Sarona doing well. With a little bit of glamourising and extra work, I don’t see why she couldn’t be an accomplished star. I’m interested to see who she will face at the show, seeing as it is going to feature 2nd and 3rd generation stars only. I’d love to see her face Natalya.

Ya i also read that the show will be a Second and THird Generation show, so really the only match i can see happening it either Sarona Vs Natalya or the Hart Dynasty Vs Sarona, Uso Brothers.

Or maybe there is another seoncd or third generation diva that we didnt know got signed like (Amy Hening who wwe was looking at) or Rachael Summerlyn or maybe Cheerleader Melissa, and i dont know any other second or third generation divas that WWE Would sign, However moe than likely it is Nattie

the question is not so much is Maryse winning, but what happens to Gail Kim after tonight. Does Ms. Kim pursue the belt or does Ms. Kim fade back into the wood work even before Melina returns to take up the chase … As I always say … stay tuned.

Well, Jemma is leaving England on March 2nd, so she will begin training at FCW soon after, i dont know when she will debut on a FCW show, but she will be at FCW after March 2nd

And yes she was signed back at the end of June, however, she had to wait for her visa, it was Rachael Carr that wasnt signed by WWE

Also WWE is holding a try out at OVW today, with Epiphany, Josie, Taryn Shay, Blossom twins and Cj Lane will al be trying out so we may have some new FCW divas on are hands
