A couple points I forgot to mention in the podcast:
1) The point about Gail / KLB on “Superstars” was that they were allowed the time to put on a good match and actually tell a story. KLB came across aggressive and she and Kim set a nice pace. A match on “Superstars’ should NOT be better than a Divas title match…(sigh).
2) I swear I thought Hornswoggle was coming out of that riding bull…thank God I was wrong.
3) Tonight was an example of why I am glad Beth got moved to Friday nights….the thought of seeing her in a bull riding competition is enough to make me bang my head into the wall.
i think the match was actually intended to be much shorter.
when gail “missed” the top rope crossbody, i think maryse legitimately twisted her neck or something because i think she was supposed to french kiss gail right there.
it was an okay match but i don’t think there was much of a reaction from the crowd and honestly i just sat there when i saw maryse win. hopefully the fued will continue and gail will hopefully win the belt next.
A+ audio post guys. i hope we will get one next week as will.
also i think gail spoke amazing french at the elimination chamber! is she fluent in it in real life?
Vickie is Vickie shes the only diva who get heel heat.
IMO, Alicia does have it; Michelle is the one who doesn’t! Michelle is a great wrestler and I love her to death, but she need other people to make her look good ex. Layla
I also think that Michelle is the only diva that can wrestle that doesn’t have the “it”. Becuase this girl had so many gimmicks and feuds to make the fans know who she is, but she still doesn’t get any heat. When Alicia only had 1 gimmick, and got couple of time to talk backstage, and talk for Michelle.
Anyways Maryse is awful, but I hope she’s okay.
I just don’t know what they going to do after this. They should have put the belt on Gail becuase she would had more people to wrestle for the belt Maryse,Jillian, Katie, and Alicia.
I also thought that Jillian and Alicia would have come out there as well.
I really hope WWE attempts to continue this feud because gail deserves to have some retribution. I’m afraid maryse will just move on to another girl and have a “feud” with them….with the same matches…until melina comes back. Which is stupid, but completely something WWE will do. I just find it soooo sad that raw seems completely pointless now. I mean, they spent so much effort on the EC to just promote smackdown divas. Honestly, makes no sense. Here’s hoping next week will be better. But it’s been great to finally hear the post raw show, it’s been so long. haha
I want to see a Sd! Mania match or a mixed brand one that isn’t some lame Battle Royal. I say this because Smackdown’s writers care for the Divas, and some of that could rub off on the Raw Divas, which would be awesome.
Onto Raw, WHADDA YOU KNOW, MARYSE WON! I DIDNT EXPECT THAT AT ALL! [sarcasm/] An ok match but it was a bit dull, completely fitting for the dull and boring tournament. There were some ok spots but Maryse is awful now, which is quite sad considering she was doing so well on Smackdown.
Onto the actual PRS, tonight’s edition was something I’ve been looking for on Diva Dirt, which was an entirely male show. I love Melanie and Erin andThe KVP but a good joke on between the male panelists is something I could relate to being male myself so I enjoyed tonight’s show due to my ability to relate to it more.
Shouldn’t have WWE stopped Kelly Kelly from bullriding as SHE IS PREGNANT lol! Either that or she had an abortion! Another WWE plot hole and poor poor responsibility on their behalf considering they’re PG!
JaiRate86, um dont you realise that wwe werent going to carry on the kelly bein preggers storyline, it was just for the jerry springer segment!
I think Gail was suppose to hit that cross body off the top rope. If you watch it back Maryse yells “NO NOT YET!” Then she tried grabbing Gail’s boots but it was to late. Poor Gail!
….. If Maryse is to have the title, I simply hope that they allow her to wrestle properly, like they did back on SmackDown!
Before now, top stars such as Lita, Trish Stratus, Melina etc. have all been out on injuries and the brand has kept going strong without them …. why should Maryse be different and be kept to the defensive side of a match? =/

it was so stupid to drag it out for so long and have Maryse win, but oh well,
see i was right after weeks of putting it back, then putting it on PPV it happened on RAW like it was going to in the first place, i really don’t see the point in that.
maybe it was simply so they wouldn’t have to build a new rivalry too early
the bull riding was dumb, plus it was fairly obvious the bull wasn’t even going fast,
the segment with Jillian was funny tho, Jillian hasn’t been on raw in weeks
glad this fail of a tournament is over,
next week will probably be a tag match
Thomas – I was just goofing on Gail – maybe she speaks fluent French, but the segment backstage didn’t make it sound like it. I thought she was telling Maryse to “return the book to the library” which was all I could say after 2 years of it in grade school. :-)
Mister Macabre – interesting point!! There did seem to be something weird about that spot. Like Maryse was trying to get Gail’s attention…I also thought I saw her grab Gail’s boot to signal her.
Ok so Maryse is the new Diva’s champion. I would be happy but this was so predictable from the beginning of the tournament. The excitement was already gone after round one.
Maryse winning was a foregone conclussion. No matter how much I was hoping the WWE would change their minds, I was well aware that Gail never stood a chance. It amazes me that the biggest wrestling company in the US decides to make one of their poorest workers a champion. And said worker isn’t even over with the crowd! LOL You’d think they would want their best to represent them.
That match was watchable, thanks to Gail, but still lacking, thanks to Maryse. LOL. I’m not looking forward to this reign as the champion seems to have no chemistry with anyone else on Raw, at least the face divas, and even Gail was only able to carry her to something slightly passable.
irony: OMG, i can’t believe Maryse won this. That was so unexpected, especially since they build up Gail so much in this last weeks…
Okay, I will stop.
However sometimes I which that the WWE audience would go all TNA and chant you can’t wrestle. Maybe then WWE would wake up and see the crap that they’re doing.
Match wasn’t that bad to be honest…can’t wait for the draft tho…maybe Serena may come to raw maybe turn Maryse face and have the two feud lol
About the draft: I honestly think they are going to trade Maryse to SD so she can feud again with Michelle, the only one she actually as chemistry with. Maybe at that time Michelle as the title again and then they unify it.
I’m actually not against unifying the titles. I don’t think RAW deserves to have a Women’s title if they only do 3 minute long Championship matches that are way worst than the ones on Superstars, the less watched show. Besides Divas have no build up or good storylines whatsoever, so it annoys me.
Also, the thought of a WM “mixed-brand” tag team match doesn’t excite me b/c we recently had the Bragging Rights and Survivor Series PPVs…so what is the point? Just give us a solid Beth/Mickie/Michelle women’s title match and a Maryse Diva’s title defense.

Notice: When Gail Kim was on the mat, Maryse kicked her rite in the mouth and when she flew off the top rope, and landed you can see that she was bleeding on the left side of her mouth.
I heard that Vickie is creating a new title for the Divas. So I think that it will be a tag team and at wrestlemania there will be a tag team divas battle royal with like Lay-Cool, Bellas, maybe Gail & kelly, Mickie & Savannah or Mickie & Maria and some other people
I hope Maryse gets injured because I am sick of her doing no work in the ring and still getting the win especially in a title match. It’s rediculous tbh. I doubt it because if she was actually hurt she would hold her neck at the side she actually got kicked in.
Wishing injuries on people is pretty low. That’s some nasty karma you’re asking for.
Yeah, man. I’m no Maryse fan but I wouldn’t wish an injury on anyone. Personally, all I’m wishing for is some improvement in her wrestling and a little toning down of her “character” lol
