it kinda sucks that they’re gonna continue this fued. maybe tiffany will come in to overthrow vickie and mickie will win the championship back at wrestlemania?

There’s gotta be a Divas match at Wrestlemania. They can’t just throw us in the deep end and expect to watch McCool hold that championship for another century. I’m picking Gail and Mickie vs Maryse and McCool, winners take all. Or maybe it will be strange and be Mickie and Maryse vs Gail and McCool… that’d be far more interesting.
I’m hoping they add Beth now as well. I think Beth, but I think she is filming the Santino show. God I hope Maria doesn’t get this spot. Maybe they’ll find another face?
I guess that dispells RKOyou’s theory about having both ladies’ straps held by heels.
Mickie winning the title was just some relief for when Lay-cool was tormenting her she wasnt meant to have along regin i think! Thats good though Im glad Mickie kame to SD refreshing her character
I think WWE likes to keep a bit of balance with it’s championships but I think they like the idea of the bad guys going into Wrestlemania as champs so that a bunch of rivalries can conclude. Wrestlemania is generally the time when the fan favorites shine.
I don’t think a single face has a belt in the WWE right now. . . And, I think Micheal Cole is turning heel. He seemed to love Jericho tonight.
@Edazon, there aren’t any face champs at the moment. I expect after Wrestlemania it will be rather different.

J/K. But for real, since Michelle teased Maria on SD last week, and Maria’s show is coming up, guess whose getting the Wrestlemania push? (The Obvious).
I’m wondering what the WWE is going to do with Triple H for Wrestlemania, I know he won’t go without having a match. So far, I’m thinking Edge, Cena, and Maryse will be champions on the other side of Wresltmania. Maybe, just maybe Maryse will step up her game this year. Since, her first Wrestlmania was a 25 Diva Battle Royal.

I think Maryse could work as a face, and maybe she wouldn’t have such a limited move set. But, it really wouldn’t make sense to turn her face. What would she do? Plus, she is pretty over as a heel. The character just works. Maybe thought, her mic skills could transfer over. I know that woman can wrestle, their is just something going on!
They could of at least gave her a couple of Months to keep the title, She hasnt even succesfully defendedher Championship on TV yet, I really hope they make it up to Mickie because that was totally unfair. :(

Maryse wins the Divas Championship on Monday then Michelle wins back the title from Mickie the next night.

if that is indeed true, then they might aswell bring
back the Diva Search, look at all the great talent they
got from that, Maryse, Michelle, Layla, Candice, Eve,
who knows what direction they are going with this.
my opinion, this is something that will definatly be going

At this point I’d say that was Mickie’s last championship reign. I highly doubt she’ll be Women’s champion again, she’s getting too close to Trish’s record and I doubt she’ll be a six time champion.
mickie is a 6 time champion right? 5 women’s and 1 divas title.
i highly doubt that they will give the divas a singles match for mania, let alone put maria in a mania match. i like the idea though of maryse and mccool vs. mickie and gail but i could also see a 3-way with mccool vs. mickie vs. beth.
That was so predictable,I just hope Beth manages to come back & take the title from McCool as quickly as possible so we don’t have to endure another long title reign from McCool. Although i wanted Gail to win the Diva’s championship,i’m happy for Maryse winning.In my opinion she’s more entertaining than Michelle.

where the hell is Beth Phoenix for the third straight time?
Come on now people. Let’s get a grip. Mickie isn’t being pushed out of the spotlight anytime soon. She is feuding with Vickie, and this was likely done to add to Vickie’s heat and rally the fans around Mickie for Wrestlemania. Similar to the way Cena was robbed of his title. The heels in the WWE are being stacked with championships going into Wrestlemania, where the babyfaces historically triumph.
They aren’t going to have Vickie screw with Mickie for 4 weeks, rob her of the title, and just let that be the end of it. Especially with Mickie’s album due to hit and Vickie stating in the WWE Universe chat that her beef with Mickie was because of her music career. Ironically, I’d say the one thing that people thought the WWE would punish Mickie for (an outside venture) is exactly what will secure her spot in the limelight.

Personally I’m sick of seeing the same Champions over and over. Give Beth Phoenix the title or someone other then Mickie and McCool. As much as I like Mickie I think the wwe gave her way to many title reigns early in her career. As for McCool I think its time that they find a new gimmick for her because this high school act is becoming more and more ridiculous each week.

I was speaking in terms of the womens championship, I couldn’t care less for the divas title. Trish is a 7 time womans champ, if Mickie were to win the womens belt again it’d make her a 6 time womens champ, which is a little too close to Trish.

In the golden era title reigns weren’t always over 100 days long. most of them were actually short. Trish’s reigns were actually short. She had 2 long title reigns but the rest was short.

If Beth doesn’t win this title from her soon I am going to be so pissed off! Or even Maria would make the show interesting again. Maria/Michelle was a great feud in 2008.
They only gave Mickie the title because they wrote themselves into a predictable corner with that storyline. BRING BETH BACK!

Rofl, a lot of people was expecting this. I actually like Michelle, but this gigantic push that never ends, must be annoying to other divas.
I would like to see Beth as a champion again. She’s one of the most deserving Divas in the roster. Or even Natalya or Serena, because we need to see new faces with the championship belt. Actually I would be glad if even Layla turned on Michelle and had a little title reign, a la Jillian Hall. At the moment, everyone in SD with the exception of Maria, could have the title that I wouldn’t care.

Being that Beth is the most dominate Diva on SD.

Mickie is still the #1 face diva. She didn’t loose cleanly, so it’s not like this was a burial or punishment for her. She is still far ahead in popularity, a gap Maria can’t fill.
If Maria becomes the focus of the divas in the next few weeks, it will only be for a few weeks, until the draft (7 weeks to go).

great, now we have to watch another boring Michelle title regin. Obivously this feud isn’t going to end anytime soon since Michelle didn’t win cleanly and Mickie has a rematch clause she could use at WrestleMania. Personally I would like to see Gail and Mickie vs Michelle and Maryse in a winners take all match. Since all current champions are heel, it would be great to see two face divas win the titles against the two heels.
I like Michelle but I hate short title reigns. I still want to see the match anyway.

When Maryse won the divas title from michelle, Beth was will still womens champion making it 2 heel champions, but then Beth lost the title to melina one month later making it one heel champion and one face champion. Then michelle won the womens title from melina when maryse was still divas champion making it 2 heels again, then one month later at NOC, mickie beat maryse making it one heel champion and one face champion again
what I’m saying is their HAS TO BE one heel champion and one face champion so either Michelle or Maryse will have a very short reign. one of their reigns will end in the coming weeks(or wrestlemania)
