Two former Divas who were extremely popular despite not being considered ‘wrestlers’, Dawn Marie and Stacy Keibler have been added to WWE.com’s Alumni section. Both were part of what many consider to be the ‘golden age’ of the Divas roster and are in company with fellow Divas from that period including Lita, Torrie Wilson and Trish Stratus.
It looks as though both Divas, who left WWE in their own controversial circumstances have buried the hatchet with WWE so to speak. In 2005, Dawn Marie was released by WWE while pregnant. Dawn filed a lawsuit against the company but later resolved her problems out of court. In recent years, WWE has been supportive of Dawn’s non-profit charity Wrestler’s Rescue.
Meanwhile, Keibler left WWE after finding fame on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Her departure caused some ill-will towards her from WWE management as has been discussed recently with Maria’s release, WWE believes that their stars should only be stars in their ‘Universe’; there was some resentment towards Keibler for going off to Hollywood and finding fame on her own.
Last month, WWE added Jazz to their Alumni section also. The ‘golden age’ pack is nearly complete!
I wonder if the recent Alumni adds could be due to WWE reaching out to these past girls for their supposed new Divas DVD project?

The stupid thing is that Kleiber had a photo gallery in the Classic Divas and yet she wasn’t in the alumni page.
That only leaves Alundra Blayze and Chyna?
Alundra Blayze will be hard to forgive after what she did. But Chyna’s problems were mainly with HHH/Stephanie i think.

Mikas: I agree re: Alundra, but after Bret’s come back and now Wendi’s induction, perhaps it’s not beyond hoping for. She was the foundation of their women’s division for so long in the mid 90′s.

@baby – She threw the Women’s Title in the trash when she went to WCW. On the air. Apparently she said she didn’t want to do it but did so at Bischoff prodding.
Now only Jacqueline, Ivory & Chyna are left to be added, or did I forget someone? xD
That’s awesome! Dawn was a huge part of Smackdown! Ivory, Jacqueline and (fingers crossed) Chyna deserve spots there too. Has anyone else noticed that Chyna has been mentioned a lot more recently? After she left they rarely ever mentioned her, even when they talked about past divas.
Regardless of what happened between Chyna and the McMahon’s, they cannot escape the fact that she was one the top female stars in WWE history. If they can mend ties with Wendi Richter I see why they can’t do the same with Chyna. Same for Alundra Blayze.
