TNA has released TNA Knockout, Traci Brooks reports PWInsider. Brooks is the longest serving Knockout, beginning with the company all the way back in 2003 long before TNA introduced a Knockouts division.
Despite being with the company for four years before the division was even born, Traci was never really pushed in the Knockouts division with the top spots going to the likes of Gail Kim, Awesome Kong and Angelina Love.
Notable moments include her feud with Trinity, Ms Payton Banks [Rain] and a very short stint as ‘Knockouts Law’, a GM figure for the division. Most recently, Brooks served as the only Knockout representative of the Main Event Mafia before they disbanded and then took on a gimmick in which she revealed she had a disability in her arm though it was never substantiated if the disability was legit or a storyline device. Brooks also posed for Playboy last October after the popular adult magazine struck a deal with TNA.

Such a long time a part of TNA. Currently no storyline, not even a title reign or title shot. That’s so sad. I’m gonna miss her.
like I said TNA should be renamed THE WWE RETIREMENT HOME SHOW in a couple of weeks they probably will hire Maria.
She wasn’t a great wrestler, but she had a great personality. I’ll actually miss her. Good luck in your career and personal life.

I’m quite surprised, even though she hasn’t really been doing much over the past year.
Im sure she said in her interview with that rally driver man that her dissability was real, something about not being able to extend her arm because of the way she was born. So that explains how she canlt really do much in the ring.

Kinda weird to see her leave since she is the original Knockout. At the same time Kaz is being pushed right now, but i’d rather not speculate on that sensitive subject.
I was never a Traci fan, but since Melissa left, she was the perfect jobber. “Someone” has to job, but without Sojo, Melissa, Christy and Traci thats going to become a problem, especially if they are rebuilding Daffney.
yessss Traci was useless and she was seriously a waste of a TNA knockout. TNA made a good move here
I agree with Mikas, Traci was good as a jobber. I would have no problem with TNA keeping her around just for that role
I read that TNA is scouting for some new knockouts so we’ll see in time
another one bites the dust. seems weird considering she just had a new shoot released. guessing it was maybe on her terms? she was one of my favourites and it always irked me how her, christy, jackie and even roxxi to some extent (gail not so much) were pushed to the side when the division was officially created. they started it and they were barely in it.
last i read, kaz and traci were still good. apparently he was helping her put together her recent match with hamada at the last round of tapings. although i see him leaving whenever he can, he’s supposedly been unhappy for quite the while there.
they’re really starting to lack on the knockouts numbers of late. seems that a spinoff xidv/kos show won’t be happening anytime soon now.
side question, is kong officially gone or not? tna are always so quick to remove all traces of their former stars from their website, but kong’s profile is still up. guessing she’s still up for the tme being due to being a champion??

Yeah, the title might have something to do with it. Maybe she even agreed to drop the title before leaving? Guess we will find out on Monday/Tuesday.
I just counted the knockouts, and they have 11 left (that includes Roxxi, who still has no profile).
Heels: ODB, Velvet Skye, Madison Rayne, Lacey von Erich, Daffney
Faces: Angelina Love, Tara, Sarita, Taylor Wilde, Hamada, Roxxi
If you look at those faces, then it will be interesting which one of those is going to become the face-jobber. Although they do have that new girl (Santana Garrett) who is valeting for Orlando. But we dont know if they have plans for her in the future.
As much as i love madison, I think she’ll definitely be the jobber for the heel side, maybe even velvet sky
i don’t think they’ll make a babyface jobber because the heel side lacks strength so I doubt any of them will win a match anyway.
Did she ask for her release? maybe she wants to enjoy married life? or she could be preggers!

Hmm, only 11 Knockouts left, thats completely ok for one division, yet the tag titles are there too and they are going to be even more redundant with Kong gone. That means there is only 2 KO tag teams now.
Onto Traci, I’m sort of suprised she’s gone. Her skills in the ring were horrendous yet she was the company’s jobber and with Kaz getting a push and everything, it’s slightly surprising. I certainly won’t miss her, but what’s next for TNA’s Knockouts?

This is too bad. I met her at a show once and she seemed genuinley sweet. I disagree with people saying she wasnt a good wrestler, she might not have been the best but she could put on an entertaining match. her stuff with gail, rain, jacqueline and alissa were all good. TNA just keeps dropping the ball, if kong leaves that KO division will be lacking even more than it already is.
Well she was going no where in TNA, her career was nothing like Trish’s. That’s why I think Traci Brooks is Wrestlicious.

Actually looks wise, I always thought that Tracy had much more of the WWE diva look down and that she would be a much better fit with the WWE Divas than in TNA. However, the fact that she was in TNA for so long along with age and WWE preferring it’s own could hurt her. Maybe she could still go there but I doubt it.
